Thanks a whole SLOTH!

Hello Ai fans!
We're starting week 2 of the Odd Animals challenge over at Art Impressions so that means it's time for me to play along!
I've used the new Sloth-some set from the Funny Farm line.

Every year my sister's fertility doctor rents out the Syracuse Zoo for his patients.
My sister and her girls always go and they always take him a little thank you gift.
This year I used a clear plastic take out container to create a gift box.  She's not sure what she's going to put in it yet, but it's ready when she figures it out!

How cute is this little guy??

I decorated the inside of the container as well.

Zoo coffee gift set

It's that time of year again where I make my sister something to take as a gift to the anual zoo party that she goes to. This year I did Starbucks Mocha drinks decorated in animal print papers & stamps.  I have had the misc. animal paper for quite some time and it was fun to pull them out and use them.  Most of the stamps are clear so I'm not sure who makes them.  The giraffe in the eggshell  is from I Brake For Stamps.  The Thank You stamp is from Rubber Soul.  Everything is colored with Copic markers and all the circles were cut with Spellbinders dies.  The star is cut from a stencil and I embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder.  I thought using some random brown fibers that I had would mimic the look of animal fur and the tag is tied on with some Michael's $1 organdy animal print ribbon.  It's tough to see in the photo but the corners of the box are layered with black paper that I embossed with a sizzix leopard print embossing folder.  The phrase was printed off my computer.  I had so much fun making this!  I hope it's well recieved.

Zoo themed gift bag

It's that time of year again when my sister goes to the Syracuse Zoo with the doctor who helped her have children. He invites all of the families to get together every June and celebrate. This year she is doing a bottle of wine and dark chocolates for him. I created this bag for her to put the chocolates in. The wine tag isn't done yet. The adorable elephant is from a Rubber Stampede Noah's Ark set that I just got on clearance. There actually was another elephant standing beside this one but together they looked a little too big for the front of the bag so I trimmed the other out. The hedgehog is from the same set. They're colored with Copic markers and I used the Stampin' Up Tab punch to make the handles to tie the ribbon to. The jumbo eyelets were put on with my Crop-o-dile. The grass was made from an EK Success corner punch that I took the guard off of. I had a lot of fun making this.

My sister's little miracles

My sister didn't think she was ever going to be able to have children and was fortunate enough to find a doctor who was able to help give her and her husband two little miracles. He is having a gathering this weekend like he does every year for his patients and she wanted to take him a little something. It's at a zoo so I went with that theme. The baby animals stamp is by All Night Media and the Nothing is Impossible phrase is by Hero Arts. I colored the animals with my water color pencils. The phrase on top was printed on my computer. Thank you Dr. K for my beautiful little nieces!
