Freddie McGregor started his career at the precocious age of seven, singing backing vocals at Coxsone Dodd's Studio One. Now he's riding the charts with his Music Works album Rumours . In the beginning of the nineties Freddie recorded some quality albums with Gussie Clarke, scoring huge in 1993 with the here included interpretation of Justin Hinds' "Carry Go Bring Come". Roots and culture & lovers are mixed in a fine style, and the sound is as crisp as ever. This set is highly entertaining and excellent all the way through !
