Hey Pumpkin by Jenn Cochran

Hello Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans.  Today is my last day posting for RRR for a while.  It has been so much fun being a part of this fabulous team.  I just wanted to say Thank You to Bonnie for all the fabulous ribbon and especially for the friendship.  I will be back in the new year and will look forward to posting for RRR again.  I hope you all have a fabulous holiday season.

Today I have a simple CAS card.  I have used one of my favorite fall ribbons called Plaid Ribbon Orange with Black Stitching.
I tied my bow using the Bow It All 2.0.  You can find this amazing bow maker on the RRR site.  Bonnie has a ton of fabulous bow tutorials on the RRR YouTube channel.  The majority of them show how to use the Bow It All 2.0.  Take a peek.  The tutorials are super easy to follow along with.

Thanks so much for stopping in and peeking at my CAS "Hey Pumpkin" card.  Hope you have a great week.

Snow One Like You by Jenn Cochran

Hi Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans!  Today I have another super easy Christmas/Holiday themed card to share with you.  I have gone with a bit of a more rustic feel with a twist of vintage Christmas paper and classic red ribbon.
I have used a couple different layers of cardstock to create my layout.  I added a wrap of Poppy Red Taffeta Ribbon and then tied a double bow.  I then made several loops with Bakers Twine-Christmas themed twine.  I took two paper mittens and strung them from the twine.  I added this behind the red bow along with a flower filler in white.
I then added a fun Christmas sentiment on a round die cut circle.  To complete my card I took a white chalkboard pen at added "snow dots" to the kraft cardstock around the mittens.  To finish the vintage themed card I added a bit of iridescent snow to my sentiment.
Thanks for joining me today at RRR.  Hope you have a crafty rest of your week!

Christmas Star by Jenn Cochran

Hi Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans!  It's Jenn and I am so not ready for Christmas.  Are you???  I know it is coming fast and I need to get my mind set and ready to go.

I wanted to give this fun star wreath a try.  It was super easy and only took about 15 minutes.  I paired the wreath with a beautiful delicate stitched satin ribbon.  I will run down the instructions below.

I used a 1" size star die.  I cut out 8 of each patterned paper to be on the safe side but only used 7 of each.  I cut out a 2.5" circle and cut out the middle to make a ring.  I added CANDi Fix Foam Pads (found at RRR) to the backs of each star.  I arranged them and then took the foam pad backings off one at a time and adhered it to the ring.  Voila, a star wreath!  Hope you will try it!

I used Delicate Stitched Satin in Kiwi and tied a simple knot.  It was the perfect color of green to go with the swiss dot green patterned paper.

Do you make your own Christmas Cards or do you opt for the ever popular photo cards?  I personally do the photo cards.  This year I will do the same, just making them myself.

Thanks for taking a peek.  Hope you try one of these simple wreaths on your next Christmas Card.

Super Happy Day by Jenn Cochran

Hi to all the Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans.  I cannot believe it is the last week of September.  I guess I better get busy on the Halloween costumes.

Today I have a super simple card using three different ribbons from RRR.
I die cut my butterfly, then I added two strips of micro gingham plaid.  It comes in several different colors.
Next I added a double bow made with Shimmer Satin in Aqua and red Bakers Twine.  I tied a bow with the bakers twine first then without taking it off the Bow It All 2.0, I tied a single loop bow with the shimmer satin. I brought the center all the way around the center of the bakers twine.  This secured the two together.
The final touch to this card was adding back the butterfly on top of the patterned paper backing.  I popped out the wings to give a 3D effect.
Thanks for stopping in!  Hope you have a great week.

Gouling Good Time by Jenn Cochran

Hello to all the Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans.  I just love this time of year.  Especially since Halloween in just around the corner.  You know that 2 months is going to FLY by!!!

Today I have made a card to get you into the spirit of Fall and Halloween.  I pulled out Deloris (my Silhouette).  If any of you follow me at my blog, well then you know all about Deloris!  I cut out two circles and attached them together with foam tape.  I used a Sharpie and outlined the large circle and added legs.  Super easy little spider.  His "web" is Bakers Twine in Halloween.
I made the fun bow on the front of the card using 3 different Really Reasonable Ribbons and black lace.  The base of my bow is Plaid Ribbon in Orange with Black Stitching.   Then I added Sheer Ribbon with 4 Thin Satin Stripes in Black.  Finally the last part of my bow is a tripple loop of 3/8" Gingham Orange.  Once I tied my bow I added it on top of Glady's Black Crochet Lace.
This is not the last of these fun little spiders.  I plan on doing a few more layouts before Halloween.  Maybe even a quick tutorial!
Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Hump Day!  Enjoy the rest of your week.

Roll With It

Happy Monday to all the Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans!  Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  Well it is definitely still summer here in Western Colorado.  I have seen so many people out riding bikes.  It reminded me of this stamp that I just LOVE.  I paired it with the perfect ribbon...Canvas Color Band Ribbon.
I LOVE how this ribbon kind of looked like a road for my little bicycle.  I used Baker's Twine Diva Wheat to add an accent bow behind the red Canvas Color Band Bow.
The Canvas Color Band ribbon comes in 20 different colors.  They can all be found here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop site.
Don't forget that we have a new challenge starting this Friday.  We would love to have you joins us.
Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a great week.

Life is better.... By Jenn Cochran

Hi to all the Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans.  Have you tied a bow with any of the Delicate Stitched Satin?  I just love how this beautiful ribbon ties so easily.  I find it easiest to tie using the Bow It All 2.0.
The Delicate Stitched Satin has a really pretty pattern that is created by the stitching on the ribbon.  It comes in several different colors.  I have used the Delicate Stitched Lemon Satin.  It is a really vibrant color of yellow.
I liked how the friendship sentiment went with the roses and yellow ribbon.  After all, yellow roses mean friendship!
Thank you so much for visiting RRR today.  Hope to see you back on Friday for our new challenge!

1st Birthday Fun by Jenn Cochran

Hello and happy Sunday!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend.  Anyone celebrating anything or maybe you have a child in your family with an upcoming birthday??  Well, today my card is a layout for a 1st birthday.  But honestly you could change up the number for any little girls birthday.

I have used three different items from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.  First is Checkboard Satin in Tropic, then I used 20 lb hemp cord in Flirt, last I added a double boarder of Sheer Box Pleats in Pink.  The box pleats are easily glued into place.

My sentiment is handwritten to personalize the card with the a name.

Thanks so much for visiting!  Have a great day.

Burlap like you have never seen it before! By Jenn Cochran

Hi everyone!  Hope you all are ready for a super crafty week.  Today I have a fun card using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Burlap String to accent my bubble background card.
I have used the Burlap String in orange.  I wrapped it several times around the middle of the card.  Then I used the Bow It All 2.0 to create a multi-loop bow.  I love how the orange popped off the turquoise background.

Here is my Tell All Video on how to create a bubble background with alcohol markers.

Thank you so much for looking and visiting the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog.  Don't forget to join in on our current challenge: black and white plus one additional color or you can also use and image.

Don't Be Afraid to Combine Different Ribbons by Jenn Cochran

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Really Reasonable Ribbon!  Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!  Today I am featuring a card with several ribbons that are all different textures.  I wanted to show you all how you can combine different types of ribbon and still achieve a fun greeting card.

I have used Gingham Orange Micro ribbon.  It is 1/4" and is super easy to make a multi-loop bow.  I added it on top of Canvas Color Band with Stitch Edge-Royal Blue.  I also wrapped my card in Satin with Silver Metallic Edges-Tangerine.  I found that layering these very different ribbons has really added a lot of extra texture!

Hope you have a great day!  Thanks for joining me!

Thanks so much for joining me.  I hope your week is fabulous and that you get a chance to tie a bow!!

Skyline by Jenn Cochran

Hi Really Reasonable Ribbon friend and fans.  It's Jenn and I am here with this fun airbrushed card featuring one of my favorite colors of blue.... Turquoise!  I am a big fan of the airbrushed "look" on cards.  It is a easy way to color a large area fast too!  Plus, you get a really nice shaded effect if you use multiple shades of the same color.

This bow really pops on the black background.  I have used the Sheer Organza with Satin Center in the color of Turquoise.  Tied my double looped stacked bow using the Bow It All 2.0 that you can also purchase at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  You can find bow tying tutorials from Bonnie on the Really Reasonable Ribbon YouTube Channel.  Bonnie has easy to follow video's that make bow tying for all skill levels a cinch!

Thanks for stopping in a taking a peek at my card.  Have a great day!  Hope it is crafty!

Birthday Shaker by Jenn Cochran

Hi Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans.  Today I have a fun tutorial on how to make a shaker card using your intricate dies.  Most shakers have a "wall" of foam tape that creates a space between the clear layer and the back cardstock.  This tutorial shows how to create a shaker without any foam tape or foam layer.  I have used Really Reasonable Ribbons Delicate Stitched Satin in Royal.

Here is my Tell All Video.  Hope you like it.

Don't you just love the look of the Delicate Stitched Satin.  I have tied a double looped bow using the Bow It All V2.0.  You can buy it at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It makes tying  a variety sized bows a cinch.

Thank you for joining me today!  Hope you will try this fun shaker card.  Remember you can you any die cut that has a bunch of openings so you can see the glitter!
