Quick and Easy Holiday Photo Ornaments

Hi there friends.  Today I am sharing a quick and easy photo ornament made with ribbons and mulberry flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon that was shared with me from our very creative design team alum Nancy Hill.  You can find Nancy over on her personal blog HERE.

You will need a 4" wooden hoop, some ribbon, double-sided tape, hot glue gun or adhesive of your choice and some mulberry flowers and/or other embellishments of your choice.

Adhere 1/4" Scor-Tape around the outside of the hoop.  Then wrap your ribbon around the hoop, overlapping just a bit as you go for complete coverage.  Once the hoop is completely covered with ribbon, create your bow and gather the embellishments you have selected.

Adhere your embellishments to the ribbon covered hoop with hot glue or the adhesive of your choice and then crop your photo and attach to the back and you have a beautiful ornament to gift to someone you love.

I'm not even going to link individual ribbons and flowers because you can use any ribbon you happen to have in just about any width and whatever flowers are your favorites.  This is such a versatile craft and you can complete it in minutes and is perfect for using up those ribbon scraps you can't bear to throw out.

Wishing you all a very safe, healthy and happy holiday season.

Christmas Wishes Across the Miles Card

Today I am sharing another Christmas card with a little glitz. I used ribbon and mulberry flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon along with digital stamps and svg cut files from Bonnie Garby Designs.

I created a 4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″ card with loads of layers. My digital sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs is my main focal point.  I ran a piece of Gold Glitz Ribbon topped with  Holiday Ornaments on White Satin Ribbon across the center of the card.  I topped it off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow and below the sentiment I have added some pretty 10,15 and 20mm red Open Roses.

The sentiment on the front of my card is from my Clean and Simple Christmas Sentiments Digi Stamp Bundle. The interior Sentiment is from the Vintage Christmas Sentiments for the Inside Digital Stamp Bundle. The background was created with the Circles in Line Overlay SVG Bundle. All my designs can be found on my Bonnie Garby Designs Etsy shop.

Our sister company 'Bonnie Garby Designs' is offering a large variety of digital sentiment stamps and svg files.  Below are the digital stamp bundles I used on my card today.

Christmas Card for Someone Terminally Ill or Someone Who Just Suffered a Loss

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing a holiday card meant for someone who is grieving or suffering from a long or terminal illness.  I used ribbon and mulberry flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon along with digital stamps and svg cut files from Bonnie Garby Designs.

Sometimes happy, merry and joy are not appropriate when a friend is going through a difficult time, but you still want to reach out during the holidays.  Sometimes it's hard to find the right words, so I created a few digital stamp bundles that will help create the perfect card.  I created a 4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″ card with loads of layers. My digital sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs is my main focal point.  I ran a piece of scarlet Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon topped with White Satin with Metallic Edges Ribbon across the center of the card.  I topped it off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow and below the sentiment I have added some pretty 15 and 20mm Red Open Roses.

The sentiment on the front of my card is from my Christmas Greetings for Difficult Times Digital Stamp Bundle. The interior Sentiment is from the Holiday Sentiments for the Inside for Struggling with Loss or Terminal Illness The background was created with the Geometric Overlay 2 SVG Bundle. All my designs can be found on my Bonnie Garby Designs Etsy shop.

Festive Sparkly Christmas Card

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing a pretty and sparkly Christmas card using ribbon and mulberry flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon along with digital stamps and svg cut files from Bonnie Garby Designs.

I created a 4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″ square card with loads of layers. My digital sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs is my main focal point.  I ran a piece of gold Glitz Ribbon topped with Cardinals and Ornaments on White Satin Ribbon across the center of the card.  I topped it off with a pretty double loop bow using gold Glitz Ribbon and below the sentiment I have added some pretty 15 and 20mm Red Open Roses.

The sentiment on the front of my card is from my Merry Christmas Sentiments SVG Bundle. I used it as a full color digital stamp by just printing out my selected sentiment. There is also a classic digital stamp set (shown below as well) if you want to print the sentiments in black. The interior Sentiment is from the Vintage Christmas Sentiments for the Inside Digi Stamp Bundle. The background was created with the Layered Netting Overlay SVG Bundle. Sweet Gingerbread

Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here today with a short post to share as I decorated this darling gingerbread for Really Reasonable Ribbon and the Robins Nest Creative.

So I bought these gingerbreads at Micheals craft store and thought they would be darling done up as a banner or tags for treat tins or boxes to gift. You could also add some paper to the back with journaling or whatever.

Anyways on this one here I created some snowflakes and holly berry using dew drops, super fun! Also used the Gorgeous Gingham Red 3/8" Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and it can be found here , and I used some bakers twine for the hanger and that can be found here

I want to thank you for stopping by and hope you have a lovely day!

hugs to all, Cheryl

Merry Christmas tag with RRR

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! Today's Christmas Candy tag was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon and also for my grandson. I will be adding this tag to one of his presents for Christmas. This is my last Christmas tag for the year. Hope you enjoy!

So for my tag base I just chose a spellbinders die shape that I like best for this darling dragon. I cut out one in red and one in white, and then stamped my sentiment in red ink on the white card stock. Super easy right?! Next I used the RRR Foam tabs to pop the white frame and then added my white paint dots. for the dragon I used an SVG cutting file, and had these put together from last year, so it was easy to just grab one and use. I did use several foam tabs layered on top of each other to pop him higher up so the sucker could slide in behind him. The suckers came from Walmart. Next I picked out 2 ribbons, and used the plaid christmas ribbon red and green in 5/8" and then the Checkerboard Satin in forest green 3/8", I just looped them both and hot glued to the back. I did staple them together first. Lastly I slide the sucker in and then used a foam tab to hold it in place. Love making these fun little tags for Christmas.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you enjoyed my tag for today! May you all have a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New year!

Hugs to all, Cheryl
