Floral Decorated Post it Purse

Hello everyone.  Cheryl here today with a sweet Post-It Note pad purse made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their gorgeous ribbons, flowers and charms. It's funny, I have had this up in my cabinet for about 4 or 5 years now, and thought hmmm, I need to decorate it. I will also post a before photo of what it looked like before I decorated it.

To start with I chose some design papers I had laying around, and LOVE.  I used Mod Podge to add my design paper, and then used it over the paper once it dried to seal. Then I decided I needed to color the blue in, so I used black Copic marker, and then let it dry and sealed it with Mod Podge as well.

To decorate I chose ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon that I thought went well with the color scheme here.  The black is satin, and the pink is my favorite of the canvas color band ribbons. I added some Chelsea Roses, Rose Buds, and Open Roses to this beauty. I did also use the green leaves and the bronze leaves to finish this off.

Shabby Chic Decorated Egg w/ Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all! Today I have a super sweet Glitter Egg that I decorated with all Really Reasonable Ribbon, using the Gorgeous Ribbons, Lace, Seam Binding, and flowers that Bonnie at RRR carries. Love them all!!

On the egg I started with the lace, and used the wide Cindy lace, and Bonnie has others that are so pretty, you can find them Here. I then made a big bow out of the Delicate Stitched Ribbon, and then the Lace, and then used the Canvas Colored Band in Pink (LOVE this), of course I love all Ribbons...hehehehe

So after doing all of my ribbon work for the bows, now its time to layer the flowers. I started with the Pink Carnation and green leaves 30mm, which now you cant see. After that I ruched up the checkered ribbon, if you pull a strand it ruches very nicely, or you can pull the plastic part at the top or the bottom, be careful when doing so, you can pull it out completely. Anyways once I did ruche it up I hot glued it under the sides of my carnation on both sides. I did add a Rose bud on both sides, however for some reason the one side fell out, and i forgot to hot glue it. I also added some Aster Daisy's as well.

**I save all my stems from all these flowers, I try to cut them up high close to the flower, and then I can use the wire to tie my bows. Its nice to recycle and use up all the wire for other things.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies:
Lace (cindy)

other supplies:
Plastic Easter Egg(walmart)
Hot Glue Gun
Wire(I save all the stems from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Flowers)

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, and thank you so much for stopping by! Have a lovely day!
Hugs to all!

Floral Pocket with Tag

Hello everyone, and Happy Monday to you all!
Today I have a sweet little pocket and tag decorated with Really Reasonable Ribbon's beautiful ribbons, flowers, and bronze embellishments. I really enjoyed making this darling little pocket that will be added to one of my mini albums at a later date.

On my pocket I started with the Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon Black.  I made a big bow, then added the Canvas Colored Band with Stitched Edge Pink as another bow on top. Next I chose to make a ruched up floral piece to add on top of that using the checkered ribbon with the stitched edge in geen/ivory/pink. It's really easy to do, all you do is pull the plastic string part from inside the ribbon at the top and it makes it ruche up so pretty.  You can make flowers or whatever you like to add to your flower clusters. I even made one for the tag.

For the floral cluster I chose to use the pink carnation, and a few different rose buds in pinks and white. Then I used the mini sweetheart blossoms in pink, and also the aster daisy in a light pink. For the window doors I used the beautiful bronze embellishments.

I love the design papers I used for this.  They came from a paper stack called Heidi Swapp. I made the tag so it would fit inside the pocket.  It's nice to have these done and ready for mini albums, as you can add them at a later date.

Roll With It

Happy Monday to all the Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans!  Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  Well it is definitely still summer here in Western Colorado.  I have seen so many people out riding bikes.  It reminded me of this stamp that I just LOVE.  I paired it with the perfect ribbon...Canvas Color Band Ribbon.
I LOVE how this ribbon kind of looked like a road for my little bicycle.  I used Baker's Twine Diva Wheat to add an accent bow behind the red Canvas Color Band Bow.
The Canvas Color Band ribbon comes in 20 different colors.  They can all be found here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop site.
Don't forget that we have a new challenge starting this Friday.  We would love to have you joins us.
Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a great week.

Don't Be Afraid to Combine Different Ribbons by Jenn Cochran

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Really Reasonable Ribbon!  Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!  Today I am featuring a card with several ribbons that are all different textures.  I wanted to show you all how you can combine different types of ribbon and still achieve a fun greeting card.

I have used Gingham Orange Micro ribbon.  It is 1/4" and is super easy to make a multi-loop bow.  I added it on top of Canvas Color Band with Stitch Edge-Royal Blue.  I also wrapped my card in Satin with Silver Metallic Edges-Tangerine.  I found that layering these very different ribbons has really added a lot of extra texture!

Hope you have a great day!  Thanks for joining me!
