Late Christmas

I am just realizing how behind I have gotten in my scrapbooking.
My Family Scrapbook hadn't had a new page in it since June 2011...

Since a week ago, I am now up to January 2013!!!
I think I did about 15 pages.
I still have a few extra touches that need to be done to these pages,
but for the most part, they are done!
(Missing a page title or journaling blog on a few pages that I need to work up on the computer).

Anyway,
Here is Christmas 2012.

I stamped the sentiments above and below the page title using

The holly is from Christmas Eve Cowder
I used my Stampin Painter Marker and Ranger Ink to color in the Holly.

Thanks for Spending a Little of Your Friday With Me!
Have a Great Weekend!

Bringing In the New Year

TODAY is a great day!
TODAY is the first day of 2014
AND
TODAY is my anniversary!

NINE years with the love of my life!

Here is the family pic we used for our 2013 Christmas Cards:

Our happy little family!

I made the boys' ties. They are superman.
We took this pic at the farm in front of a cotton module.

AND TODAY,
is releasing a brand new template.

Isn't it a fabulous design?

Here is what I made with the template:

All the paper and elements are a sneak of what is to come this month!
Check out everything from
Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs

Sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.
...My Thoughts Are With You.

Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you have a fabulous 2014!

Christmas Is Coming!

Today is FWF over on the Unity Blog.

This is what I have to share:

Unity Stamps: Snowflake Kisses, Hullabaloo (retired)
Other Stamps: Verve Stamps "Christmas Blessings"
Punch: Stampin Up'
Inks: Momento, Ranger, VersaMark

Step by Step -
I stamped the snowflakes with clear VersaMark, then heat embossed with clear powder.

I then added two different blues to the white panel.
Both blues are from Ranger:

I then stamped the Hullabaloo stamp with the darker blue all over the panel.
I lastly layered the panel on my card and put a sentiment under it:

I sent these out for my Christmas cards this year.

Wow, crazy times!

Sorry it has been so long again!

Things are CRAZY here.

Chris and I decided to remodel.... So my house looks a lot like this:
This is the new wall between my living room and kitchen!

This is the end of the cabinets in the kitchen. The new wall for the kitchen will be where the stud on the right is.

This is why my kitchen smelled after I would do dishes. So very grateful this has been fixed!

This is the whole in the kitchen floor to see the mess of pipe. It was ugly and smelled pretty awful!

This was the dinning room...
And this is the floor after I took up all the stupid tiles!
Yes, I am helping where I can!

When taking out the wall we wanted to move between the kitchen and living room... this happened!
All the insulation came down and I was the lucky one who had got to clean it up!

This morning, I left to get the crew lunch, (who were getting pretty close to done with their part)...
And when I got home, this is what I found in my guest bath!
Chris decided that he wanted to just keep going.
We planned on remodeling more of the house...
but I was under the impression we were going to finish the current rooms before we did the bathrooms....

And this is the front yard! Everything, including the bathroom toilet and kitchen sink are out there!!

Hopefully I will have some pictures to show progress soon!

Barrettes Now In Stock...

I have been trying to get some new listings in the shop...

Here are a few that have been listed this week:

These are all on Alligator Clips.
The Headband is NOT included.
Needed a way to keep the clip on the baby dolls head...
Since I only have boys who are NOT to be used as models!

AND, I wanted to share another HUGE thing I got for my birthday:

(Birthday Picture of us at the restaurant)

The NEW IPad!
My Husband is the Best in the WHOLE wide world!
I love that I can shout out to the whole world how much I love Chris.
I love to be able to show my friends and followers how much he spoils me!

A picture is worth a Thousand Words!

It rained so harvest is on hold for the next day or so.
SO, Chris and I went to the city yesterday.
Just me and him!
My dad is in town, so he kept the little monster and waited for Hunter to get off the bus.
So we were kid free! In the middle of the day!

My In-Laws got me a gift certificate for Red Lobster, so we went out to eat, and then we went and looked at some pants for me, and a leather jacket for him, but we just couldn't find anything we were completely satisfied with!
I am going to have to order me some jeans because the store that sells Ariat jeans doesn't carry 25 R (regular). All I could find were 25 L's (Way TOO Longs!)

We also went and picked up his new motor! I am so excited to hear it running. It looks beautiful, but I want to hear the roar of this engine!

Have a GREAT weekend everyone!
I know I will!

Baby Card for Kelleigh

This week, Kelleigh is releasing a baby card set with the template you can cut by hand or the cutting files that you can use with your electronic cutting machine!

I luckily have a fabulous husband that bought me the Silhouette SD for Christmas one year, so I used the cutting files!

So stinking easy!

I used the .dfx version, imported into my Studio program, adjusted to fit onto the 8.5" size of my mat, and cut. That was it!

Isn't this diaper adorable?

And the bootie:

Make sure to go HERE and make this template all yours! It will make your baby making cards go so fast!

For the ruffled butt, I used lace from my friend Martha.
She has a zibbet shop here:

She has some really great things happening right now, so is having a close out sale:

And I have been a little out of it the past two weeks, with my birthday, then school full days, and harvest... I have been busy!

I want to share some of the things I got for my birthday!

Chris got me this super cute boots:

We saw a pair that had the American Flag design on it, but they didn't fit just right. I am still really sad about that!

He also helped me pick this purse:

I hate that all the purses like this tend to have a cross on them.
I so do not like the crosses.
We found this purse with a color I am drawn to and it has a star instead of a cross!
LOVE IT!
Chris also found the matching wallet. I told him that I didn't need it, but he insisted! It is gorgeous and my mom is jealous!

My husband is the sweetest!

He also got me a few more things on my birthday, along with a birthday dinner with friends in the city AND he took us all dancing. I love to go dancing with him. We fit together so well on the dance floor!
Guess that comes with years of practice!

PMP

I am hoping this is the video I wanted to upload.
This is one of eight runs Chris did with the new car!

PMP

Getting Ready to run the car for the first time:

Chris and I with our new car:

The Pit Crew:

Fun at the Speedway!

I laughed so hard at Hunter.
The ear muffs kept pushing his cheeks in, making him fat!

I was able to get a cracked family picture!
Colton is the only one fully in the picture!
Still going into our scrapbook for this adventure.

Colton really liked the cars when they went around the turn near us.
He would get an excited look on his face and make sure we were watching too.

A couple of the cars:

Hunter told Chris we need to get a modified race car too!

In Other News

The In-Laws left Sunday,
But not until we had a big breakfast of breakfast burritos, fried potatoes, and biscuits with jelly!
I realize that these foods don't make the best combination, but my father-in-law isn't suppose to eat pork...
Which is in the sausage and potato burritos!

Chris LOVES my fried potatoes, so I made them extra, mainly for him.

I made the biscuits so we could also try the jelly my mom sent down that she made from scratch!

We were all stuffed.

And in other news:
Chris and his dad went Saturday and picked up this beauty!!

We uses to race a '78 camero, but will be retiring that body so we can put the engine in this fine piece of equipment!!!

I am so excited! I can't wait for the guys to get it finished so we can go to the track!!
