I actually created and cleaned....Wha????

I did. Really did. First I created. I joined back into the ATC group. This month the theme was birds/nature. Since my craft studio was A HUGE MESS, I had to use the kitchen table.

Here is what I made for the trade.

Now that I got that done... Time to get cleaning.

Here is what the floor looked like before:

What a CRaZy Mess! could barely get in the door. I did not show you my desk for a reason. My desk looked like the floor. Stuff piled way too high. Almost a health hazard.

Here is what the after looks like. So much better! You can see the floor! Only a couple little "piles" to find homes for.

So sorry. I know we've been apart for along time.

Lots of changes... New job and a temporary roommate.

I went back to my love, design.
I tried the whole event planning thing
(not for me). And I am housing one of my very very
best friends while she is going through
a little bump in the road.

Needless to say, I need to find time to
get back into my craft studio.

I have been getting my hands a little dirty.
I NEED to be creative everyday to some
extent or I would go INSAINE!
I bet you guys know what I mean.

I got new daubers for my inks
(specifically my distress inks).

I was starting to organize them by
labeling them with my beloved ptouch.
But, I realized (actually knew)
that I am more of a visual person
and the labeling was not going to work for me.
WASTED labeling tape (oh well).

I needed to label by showing the color,
not just naming the color.

So I colored a sticky label with the ink and used a
1/2 circle punch to punch out a circle
that I then placed on top of the case.

I LOVE IT!

I did still use my ptouch to put labels of the color
around the actual dauber.

Now I can see the color I want. WoooHooo!

I hope I inspired you to organize in the
way that works best for you!

Oh, BTW have you downloaded the #abeautifulmess app yet?

It is the best 99¢ I have spent on a app.

It is wonderful! That is how I added the text to the images.

A card, a huge donut, shopping and fun nails.

This was a weekend of catch-up.

There were a number of things that I NEEDED to get done,
but I had to have some fun too, right?

First.

My aunt needed a baby card for a shower
she is going to this weekend.

So this is what I did:

Second.

I went for a drive on Saturday and stopped at a local
truck-stop and got my hubby some donuts.

These are not a normal donuts. They are HUGE!!!

Head size huge!

Third.

Shopping.

I went to Target with a girlfriend and bought
myself some new binders to organize
my scrap room. The smaller one is for my embossing folders
(see image below).
I emboss a sample and put it in the book
(number the sample and the folder the same),
then I can just look through my book
and pick out a folder I want to use.

The larger one is going to be for my stamp bible.
Once I get that organized I will take photos and show you
how I do that.

Forth and final.

Fun nails. I stopped at the thrift store and bought
a package of these nail "stickers".  I have seen these in the stores
but did not want to buy them for $11.99 so I thought
for $1.99 I would try them.

LOVE them. Super easy to put on. Still not sure I would
pay $11.99. I guess that is cheaper then a manicure.

 Welcome to my Scrap Room!

At ATC club I did a demo on organization. Since I had to take photo of my room, I thought I'd share.
