September/October Favorites

Holy Moly! It's been ages since i've last done a post like this! Since I missed September's favorites - i just want to add it all together. doubt i'll be able to do a video any time soon! lol (i'll try though!)

but my list is pretty small, since i've been using the same products mostly for September and October..

MUFE Duo Mat Powder - this is my go-to powder for the days i don't feel like putting on liquid foundation.. using Enkoremakeup's back to basics powder foundation tutorial - helped tons applying this! this did not oxidize on me and felt lightweight and stayed on the whole day with minimal touch-ups! I had originally purchased this a few months ago because of Pam (xxpinkxx) and have been in love with this ever since! thanks hun!
yes i've hit pan (barely but still lol)

MAC Blushbaby Blush - i used this blush color every single day practically for both months and still kind of use it for november lol! it gave such a warm glow to my skin and just looked amazing on the cheeks, especially when i paired it with MAC Eversun Blush.. the combination of those two were heaven on my cheeks!

Urban Decay Naked Palette - these two months i was really into the neutral looks, especially because i'm always in a hurry in the morning, so like my august favorites, i had to include this in my september and october favorites because i always reached for it!

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black - this was my go-to gel eyeliner.. for days i wanted to take more time on the eyeliner/wanted it more dramatic.. (since i had neutral eyeshadow etc).. i used this and it did it's job! lasted ALL day and some! extremely creamy and just easy to work with.. i liked this better than my wet n wild gel liner too!

Sigma F80 Flat top Kabuki Brush - i found myself reaching for this every single time in the morning for september and october.. if i used it with powder or liquid or cream foundations, i'd find myself reaching for this. this brush is amazing! it's extremely soft but just enough density to pack on the foundation (whether it be powder or liquid) and gave me the airbrushed finish that i wanted. it was real easy to clean too! my absolute favorite.

Philosophy - Falling In Love perfume - when i had gotten a sample of this from a tiny sephora haul awhile back.. i fell in absolute love with this scent! it smells fruity, yet delicious, yet feminine but it's not irritating to the nose! my husband actually loves this scent on me, and i use this everyday or alternate with my DKNY perfume, but always reach for this one! love, love, LOVE this perfume! it'll be my go-to scent for some time!

that's pretty much it! if i do decide to show you all a video, i'll just add it in! :)

hope you enjoyed! what were some of your favorites?!

VIDEO :: August Favorites

So! It's that time again that I share with you all, my favorite products that i happened to use a whole bunch during the month of August.

here are the products mentioned in the video:

1. Urban Decay Naked Palette:
Yes this product i had used almost everyday for work when i was in a hurry, i'd just put on a few of the colors like sin all over the lid and it was just lovely, fast and easy.. and the colors are gorgeous! the texture of the shadows are so buttery feeling, some people have complained about fall out or too much glitter/shimmer.. but i have no problem with either :) so i had to include the Naked Palette as my favorites for August (and perhaps will continue to stay there for September as well!) I liked that it did come with an eyeliner in the palette, but i honestly just didn't use it as much as i thought i would (the eyeliners).

2. Covergirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Black
This was my go-to eyeliner.. for when i wanted to wear eyeliner only, on the go etc if i was in a hurry, i'd find myself reaching for this one.. the texture is quite creamy, only thing is you have to kind of layer it (not so much) to get the dark black that I desired..  but this barely smudged on me (since ALL eyeliners do on me) this one was very long lasting, and i absolutely love this product! will definitely be stocking up on this one and getting a few back-ups.

3.MAC All that Glitters Eyeshadow

So if i didn't use my naked palette, or was too lazy to pull it out or was really running late, i'd just put All that Glitters all over the eyelid (with a brush or finger) and i was good to go.. i love the texture of this eyeshadow, it has shimmers in it, but not too much where it's overpowering.. just enough to notice that you are wearing something on the lids.. but it was subtle enough that it wasn't like you had discolights on your eyes lol :) it is such an amazing color and i think it's a staple to have in your collection!

4. Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in Translucent
I had been reading so many reviews on this specific setting powder and didn't want to purchase like a blot powder, because i wanted to try something different.. and heard so many good reviews on this on other bloggers reviews.. so i decided to bite the bullet and purchase it.. August was such a hot hot hot month, temperatures reaching over 100 degrees (sometimes like 105!) and this helped tremendously keep the oilies at bay.. i mean i did still have the normal shine throughout the day, but using a blot paper fixed it.. but my makeup was still fully intact and blush was there too! (because usually my blush would be gone by 12noon).. this is a loose powder, it's extremely finely milled, so theres no chalkiness, or cakeing at all.. which i love, it fills in the pores and fine lines without settling in them.. i love it! and a little goes a long way and this little tub of heaven will last me a long time!

5. Sonia Kashuk Radiant Tinted MOisturizer SPF 15 in Linen
I also had heard SO many great things about this particular tinted moisturizer.. and i had never tried Sonia Kashuk's products before (only their brushes - which i love too) .. and this was amazing! it claimed to be a tinted moisturizer, and it's very liquidy/watery.. had a hint of suncreen smell, but wasn't so bad - it was tolerable.. and actually this is buildable coverage which is cool and it actually lasted on my oily skin! so yay to this! i did use my Sigma F80 brush to apply it to give my skin/face a flawless finish, but if i was in a super hurry, i just applied it with my fingers and was good to go!  very easy to use and great during the hot month of August - this was definintely my friend!

6. Sonia Kashuk Brow Definer in Haze
I had been looking for a new eyebrow pencil, because my tattoo on my eyebrows are wearing off and so i've been having to pencil them in.. for the month of July I had been using the rimmel one which was decent and did come with a cute little brush (which was kind of really hard/scratchy).. i liked it though.. until i found this one! it's a perfect color not too dark and it stays put! i'm planning on getting my eyebrows retouched soon, so until then, will be using this!

7. Maybelline the Falsies Volum' Express Mascara in Very Black
the first time i tried it, i wasn't too thrilled about it, but the more i used it, the more it worked better and i ended up falling in love with this mascara.. although it doesn't quite hold the curl of my lashes because the formula is so wet, it still makes my lashes thick and just super long! i reached for this more than any of my other mascaras, and will probably need to buy a backup soon!

So hope you enjoyed what my favorite products for August were.. :) till next time!

Video :: July Faves

So I've been totally addicted to doing YT videos  (can you tell?) lol.. I just think it's an outlet for me to show people who i am and my personality.. that and this is the only way i get to share my passion for the things i love (besides my family <3 <3)

A lot of my friends don't really have the same interest in make-up and fitness/exercising as I do.. so hence the blog, the YT channel and the like.. I at least get to interact and communicate to those that share my passion, or want to get into make-up/beauty/health etc..

enough of my rambling.. Here are my Favorite beauty Products for July!

Products Mentioned:

1. MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Medium

I have not stopped reaching for it this whole month of July. Prior to finding this, I was using the MAC Sheer Pressed Powder but noticed i kept coming back to MSFN. I believe it's because when i used it to set my foundation, it just made my skin look so natural and i liked it! it wasn't heavy or made me cakey, and it was easy to apply. I've used it everyday and it has not budged lol! love this stuff and would reccomend it for those that are looking into something from MAC to set the foundation and if the Sheer pressed powder is not enough coverage.

2. MAC By Candlelight MSF

I didn't really get into Mineralized Skinfinishes just until a month before Stereo Rose came out.. and they repromoted By Candlelight as well, after doing tons of research/looking at swatches and then looking for myself in store, i've fell in love with this product. i use it to highlight my skin, and place it where light/sun would reflect off of.. giving me such a natural radiance to the skin.. it was perfect for summer and still is!

3. MAC Stereo Rose MSF

like mentioned above I got it with By Candlelight MSF and i absolutely love these two together as well.. i didn't think i'd get into the hype, but this product does give me this lovely glow to the cheeks.. it was a perfect color for summer! i loved it and had used it quite often!

4. MAC Fluerry Powder Blush (D/C)
after seeing many swatches of this particular blush, I knew I had to have it.. and ever since I purchased it from someone online (in perfect condition, might i add) and the first use.. I WAS IN LOVE! there was a point where I wore this particular blush and only this blush for 2.5 weeks! it gave my skin an amazing glow but was definitely not over the top. It's a Frost, and i'd thought Frost = fall out or sparkly glitter chunks lol.. but it was far from it.. it made my cheeks glisten in radiance in all the right places.. and the color went with mostly everything!

5. Diorskin Nude Foundation in Linen (021)
I purchased this on a whim.. my first purchase of dior anything! i was quite impressed at how much the foundation felt like skin on me.. like my skin but better. the smell wasn't as bad, it was pleasant. i can't put my tongue on the word.. but i actually grew to like it! the coverage was great, except on my t-zone which is my problem area.  so i don't use it that much only on special occassions because it is pricey.. and don't wanna waste it..

6. Korres Blush in #15 Natural
OMG this blush is love! if i'm in a hurry and just wanted a touch/hint of color or add a stunning glow to my cheeks - this would be it! and it lasts all day on my greaseball/oily skin! i love this blush, it feels so satiny on my cheeks, and it's not blotchy at all. extremely pigmented and just overall a great color for my skintone!

So these are my favorites! hope you all enjoyed the video! and if you haven't subscribed to my channel/blog - please do it's FREE! and don't forget the "thumbs up!"

thanks all!
