Loubee Lou

I' ve started having "Get Togethers" on Mondays and Saturday afternoons where you are able to make anything you like. Some of the ladies are learning to make dolls (my cup of tea) so I like to have samples made to inspire them, especially nice to see things made from all the magazines we collect.

I have just finished making Loubee Lou designed by Annie Smith for Homespun No: 53 (Vol 8.10). Hope you like her.

Happy Easter

Wishing you a basket full of blessings this Easter!

I thought I would share my lastest addition "Hareloom Easter" from this months issue of Homespun. I just fell in love with her, and she's designed by Gini Simpson - one of my favourite designers. I'm really happy with the results, I like her, even my husband made a comment and that is saying something. If you decide to make her, please share a photo with me.

My site is back online, it seems IP address from Australia were blocked, so I will be working had in the next few days to add new products.

Anyway, Happy Easter Everyone! Now were's that chocolate ........

Not Happy, Jan!

Skinny Sammy and Sarafina

Wouldn't you know it, spent the afternoon preparing images for new fabrics, buttons and patterns to add to my online store only to find out I cannot access my my site for some reason or another. If you have been trying to view my store I apologise. I have emailed Donna to try and work out what the problems is. Hopefully, fingers crossed she will get back to me, asap.
Skinny Sammy and Sarafina will be available for purchase along with other goodies looking for a new home.

Sewing Keeper in progress
Melody
Helen and I have been working on the two doll patterns (Melody and Sewing Keeper)along with 6 other patterns we receive on our first Stitcher's Dream Day Out outing in 2006.
Melody is finished but I have been a little slow in completing the Sewing Keeper.....Helen, I promise to finish her over the weekend.
Melody is quite shabby rather than vintage, I'm really happy with her.
