Beach Birthday Party

I got a bee in my bonnet and decided to have Scarlette's birthday at the beach.  I did the photos in collages as there were a ton between my camera, Melissa's Camera, Tiffanie's Camera... and Gwen got a hold of Tiffanies Camera and got some fun pictures of all of us who are always behind the camera.

Vintage sheet strips tied on a string for decor- tied on by my best helper Tiffanie.. While watching the Bachelorette!   The whole set up before guests arrived.... Yes, I dragged all this stuff... even my heavy picnic table that Tiff and I made.... it was awesome for pictures. The cupcakes.. I forgot to give them to half the people... OOPS

The vintage Sheet Beach blanket I made just for this party. The invite... I saw one like this on etsy and was going to try to cut out a mermaid like that and then I happened to ask my friend Lisa if she had a star fish for her Circut and she had the mermaid too!!!! Saved me a ton of time

Sammys wrapped in wax paper and tied with pink and white bakers twine..... It took me and Gwen an hour to wrap them all... No sand ... and no dry bread... worked perfectly!

Rewinding a Bit

Today is Gabby's  14th birthday... but I am going to post about Gwen's bday back in ....eek... March. Gab didn't want a party, so she and a friend are going to a theme park for the day.  It's hard to believe she is 14... an age I remember so vividly!  Happy Birthday Gabby Goose:)  I love you!!!!

On to Gwen's birthday:

She turned 11 in March and is an amazing homemaker all ready, she loves to cook, garden and LOVES baby's. She also loves art and is a great little artist.  

She wanted to have a slumber party and invited 6 girls to stay the night.

They did design a dress out of TP.. Gab had to help because there was an odd number and Gwen actually wanted Gabby to be her partner.. I almost fainted.

We did everything she wanted and then they stayed up late watching movies and giggling.

Sunday the two of us went to the mall and shopped for the day, which was super fun. We don't get a lot of time just the two of us. It was a fun and busy weekend!

Graham Turns Four

Well, he actually turned four way way back at the beginning of January.Yes, I am that far behind... Eek. Moving has really put a crimp in my blogging.  

We decided to do something small for his bday since we were moving a few weeks later.

We decided to take him to Chuck E Cheese on his actual birthday, my family came and of course our family from another mother...ha ha... Tiffanie, Karson and Tatum came to celebrate.

It wasn't too much of a mad house there as it was a weekday at lunch time.

For some reason I never buy boy wrapping paper, so I gave the girls the craft paper and they decorated it!

Poor little dude got confused in the tunnel... guess who had to run to his rescue....

Yep.... me.. the claustrophobic mama.  I had to be brave for my boy.

At four you are a ball of energy, constantly on the go.  A phrase I often hear from people about you is that you are a sweet boy and a charmer. You are super coordinated, and would rather be doing something physical.  You can spell your name, you know your birth date, can count to 15, know your colors and can sing your abc's.  You don't want to ever wipe your own bottom, sheesh. You have a natural love of cars.... vintage hot rods:)  You always tell me that you are my boy.

And you are.... my best boy:)

I made the bib...I saw one like it online somewhere and decided to whip one up the night before the party.

I made Scarlette her individual cake, as I did for the other 3 kidos, no idea why it was this shape, had something else in mind..didn't work out... Cute anyway.
