American bellflower...

There were several of these at the swamp area, but this was the best I could do.  It is a cropped photo.

First one for me this year

I stopped to take a photo of the above flower, and while down on my knees, the little butterfly appeared and let me snap a photo of it.
If only they would all be so willing to pose for me! I hope it is the first of many butterfly photos for me, but I don't usually get very many.
