At work on a different church
This is a different church from the previous one. If you want, click to expand the view. Notice where the ladder is situated. I am thinking someone is not very comfortable in high places.

Little church
I am not sure whether this church is in Indiana or Illinois....I have come across it this one single time. I need to go see if I can find it again.

Scene from the past...
iI have been looking at old photos, and actually finding some that have never been published. This is one of them. Taken not too far from us, over in Illinois.

From Today!
Went for a long drive today...not for photography though I did pause to capture a few scenes. I had seen this church of google maps.
Isn't this interesting/different?

Redpath Memorial Presbyterian Church
We came across this church in 2008.
I think it is one of the most beautiful churches I have seen.
I don't know why I had never thought to google it, but I had not until tonight:
The Redpath Memorial Presbyterian Church in Cross Village. The Church was organized in February, 1888 and dedicated in 1890. It was destroyed by fire in 1918, to be rebuilt in 1921, through the efforts of The Rev. John Redpath, for whom the church is named. For many years the church stood empty and unused. Through the efforts of two young couples the church reopened in 1965 for summer worship.
The above was from a facebook page for it seen HERE. And there is a great photo of it there.
I would love to have been able to see inside...
With these views, I am linking to Tuesday's Treasures.

First United Methodist Church, Paris, Illinois
I was shooting towards the sun but could not resist a few shots.
This is the second time I have happened by this church and both times was mid day.
I would love to see this at night when the lights are on...

We went for a short drive today...I was looking for a barn. Or rather where a barn used to be. It was torn down the last time I went by...but I didn't find the spot...but did run across this place which I have photographed before but it has been a long time.
I was about to pull away when something caught my eye....
I saw what it was and quickly zoomed in...I think it was a bit cold for it today and it was sitting there to absorb some sunshine.
It was 6ºF along about 7:30 this morn, then a couple hours later it was 3ºF....yep, you read that right. It went down a bit more before it started getting warmer. We saw this dove and it was not long before I looked at the thermometer on the car and it was all of 11ºF.

An older church for Tuesday's Treasures...
We came across this church when we were exploring areas of Terre Haute. I all my years of living here, I have never seen it.
We were both impressed by it.
I just hate that it pieces of the stained glass have falling out/been broken.
I have to show all these to do it justice...
I could see this as a quilting design in a triangle...
I don't know if the building is being used for anything at all or not. I sure wish someone would have the money and the time to restore it.
