Drive-by shot
This is a drive-by shot...from the photos around it is either Michigan or Wisconsin. And I am thinking Michigan.

from Albion, Indiana
Remember you can click to expand the view.
Isn't it a beauty?
Can you belief this:
The back part of it was the jail, and the jailer and his family lived in the front part.

More from St. Joseph's college...
I meant to post these but forgot and posted the building in my last post.
These were taken in 2010....I cannot remember if we have even been by there since. If we have it has only been a time or two....
I would love to go back again, but it is farther than is comfortable for Roger to go.
There were questions asked about the college and I intended to try to find the answer. I first read that they intended to open it as a junior college this fall. I tried to find if that had happened. Instead I found: "Saint Joseph’s College (SJC) is taking the first steps to bring academic life back to campus! The SJC staff is currently designing courses offering certifications for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Clinical Medical Assistants (CMA), along with electrocardiogram (EKG) and phlebotomy certificates." So maybe it is going to be a while before it is really open. Or maybe this is just something they are adding. As I say, I have not investigated fully.
And someone ask about the green roofs...yes, I assumed they were copper. I know that is what I thought when we were there.

From Covington, Indiana
I had totally forgotten this building...I really think it is a beauty. I wish I had taken more zoomed in pics of the details.
At least I did take a photo of one of the windows. These were take in 2010

Just a bit of architecture...
Just a couple snapshots as we passed through Crawfordsville last November. Below is a second building...
I have looked and looked at the 'things' up there and cannot decide what they are.
Different buildings. And this one is not near the quality. But at least it is a closer view.

I am not sure about this...
I think it is part of the campus, too, but not sure.

Seen on the way
We saw this building again...when we went to Shipshewana last month. I have posted a pic of it before somewhere.
It fascinates me...it is such a cool old building. It is always just there and gone before I can do anything.

How about this place?
This was in Howe, Indiana...I think part of the Howe Military Academy.
Just showing a few zoomed in shots
I love the design, the colors, the details..
I would love to be able to view the inside.

Old business building...
I loaded this before I left home...was in a hurry to load something and this is just what I came to first. We were sitting at a stoplight in Crawfordsville...love these old buildings. I just wish I could have been around to see some of these places built.

House detail...
I want to go back and get the rest of the house. I cannot remember anything else about it. This drew my attention right away.

I have no memory
Going through the archives last night, I came across this...I have no idea where it was taken, or what sort of building it was. I think it is kind of unique.

Colorful
I cannot remember where we were at when I quick grabbed this shot while at a stoplight. I just love the vivid colors.
