BBQ invite

Claudia_Rosa_BBQ_Invitation_2
Hello friends… wow… look what my mailman got me today Smile
A parcel from the Netherlands.
My dear friend Nicole was so sweet, to think about me and was able to get me a few new stamps.
I have stamped some of them already out and picked some papers to go with them.
This one was the first I colored in. It was the fastest to colour. The other ones I stamped with some accessory stamps together.
Claudia_Rosa_BBQ_Invitation_4
Sorry for the quality of my photos. I was playing with my lamps and I must say I do not look like the way the photos turned out.
Here are the supplies for this card.. not much anyways.

Iam officially Done, D-O-N-E …

With my Christmas cards for 2011 Smile whoohoo!
Today I was mailing my last present out.  I had to pull 2 all-nighter to get it finished but it is on the way – destination North Carolina lol!
I have made this card in October – I have not seen this Tilda very often. Thought she was quite cute for New Years / Silvester greeting cards.
Well.. I am off now.. we have family visiting from Canada for Niklas birthday on Sunday. Seams like have not been at my craft table for a long time. I am itching to get a chance on Monday.

Meet “Cornelia”

Hei there Smile well.. I think Autumn has arrived early in Michigan. What a rainy day.
I purchased Cornelia thinking I could make some “Thanksgiving” themed cards with her.. but when making this card I thought .. I will keep it neutral. This image certainly works for all sorts of occasions. Loooove, love that her hair calls for black!!! It was fun to color and really easy.
Claudia_Rosa_Indianermaedchen_3

At the very end I decided to go a bit “artsy” and add some yellow to her dress.. something different than what I usually do.

Claudia_Rosa_Indianermaedchen_1

Went a little nuts on the layers.. usually I have no more than 3, just loved all these patterns.
Inside is finished as always… the large panel is never permanently adhered in my cards. I stick them on with double sided scotch tape, so it is easy to take out and write the message on and than glue back in.
Claudia_Rosa_Indianermaedchen_2

Well.. most of you know already from my Poppy card where to find these adorable line of stamps but if you have missed the posting.. You can find the images at Krista’s Etsy store. I could not find currently Cornelia listed separately so I will give you the link to the set, maybe Krista will add her later again separately to purchase.
Found her.. she is now listed as single stamp here
Thanks to Kristine for the wonderful vintage lace and Crissy for giving me this amazing large leave punch!

Hello friends… iam back from holiday and just finished this card with one of the new images from the latest Lili of the Valley line.
Claudia_Rosa_The girl with the stars
OMG.. I just had the shocker … I have not logged into my blog in like 9 days and my password was not working anymore. I must say I just had a raised heart beat lol.. worrying how I would fix that problem if I can not get to my blogger account anymore. pewwwh.. I think I should try to find out what my Google settings are, to have a new password sent there. Anyone know how to do that, or where this option is located?

Memorial Day

Happy Holiday to all Americans!
Many of you remember those brave man and woman they have lost while they served their country.

I usually have each Memorial Day a card with Magnolia stamps ready. This year i was late to sign up for the annual Memorial Day blog hop.

But last night when a big tornado came through our area ( my town was saved, the storms went to the left and right of us up to Canada) i made this quick card. You can tell that i was distracted. I totally forgot to sew the main image – i left a bigger border to add the stitching. Oh, well by the time i noticed it was glued on.

Good Luck

Hello my friends… aim early today :-) Aim looking forward to my day today. After this posting i am going to head with my mother in law to Joanns to purchase some fabrics to make curtains for the kitchen and the dining room. She is going to show me how :-) finally the sewing machine gets a use for different things than my cards. Than i am going to get a new hair do. Iam up for something crazy today. I will see what will happen. In Germany i had always short short hair but since we are here it has been always shoulder length. I will see.. definitely need to get rid of my greys buuhuuu. How annoying are those stubborn grey hairs.
Claudia_Rosa_Good Luck_3
Anyhow… you did come not to hear about my hair lol you came to see my card. Thank you girls! xoxoxo
This image “Lucky Cats” i used was one of those i spoke the other day about, which are so cute but really kind of fast to color in. I have colored the kittens in some browns, brown-red and the E41 color sections just to make them stand out a bit more against the rather white background. The background is colored with Prisma pencil “slate grey”. The horseshoe is colored with N colors with Copics. Sir Stampalot has a fabulos collection of Prisma Color pencil sets.

Happy New Year to all of you

Happy New Year to all of you from me and my family!!!! I hope you have had a fantastic start into the new Year. Thanks to all your get well wishes! I really appreciated it and it made me feel so much better xoxox.

Today's card is an other Hanglar Stanglar card - as you can see :-). I am not quite sure what to tell you actually about it, except that the size is different than usually. I is sized 5.5 x 5.5, so i was able to use up some scraps of my Jolly by Golly paper. I must say this paper is one of the paper stacks i have almost used up now. Was worth the investment :-)
I have had a few emails regarding the Hanglar Stanglar images i have recently used. Unfortunately there is still nothing new i know about in terms of being able to order them. If you live in Norway, Sweden or Finland or you have a mailing address in one of those countries, it should not be a problem.

Stamps: Hanglar Stangler Jul Collection 2008
Sentiment: Happy New Year is by Magnolia
and is in stock at Magnolia-licous #708
Papers:
Cosmo Cricket " Jolly By Golly", Prima Marketing (script paper),
Embellishments: Snowflake charm by WOJ, Prima Marketing (flower and gem),
Stickles (Diamond)
Tools: Flourishes punch EK Success

I have also recieved a email from Jennifer Mossy who asked me if i could list the Copic Marker numbers that iam using for coloring. I must say.. that's one of my New Years resolutions, i need to get better on that. Iam always planning on taking down the numbers, but iam really unorganized and my cards are rarely made in one step, since my kids are still so little. I also do not own the entire Copic collection so i feel like iam using all the time the same numbers, but i will try to be better in the new year :-)

Lots of love

Happy New Year

Happy_new_year_head
Hello and a wonderful Saturday! Today i would love to show you a card that i have made for a friend in Germany!
As of my choice of stamps… you probably need to know that the German’s  have fortune symbols for New Year like the piglet, the 4 leave glover and the chimney cleaning man in black suit (i don’t know the name for him).

Lucky me, i had most of the stamps to get the recipe for a nice Magnolia scene card started.
Every image on this card is masked – so i can submit it to “Just Magnolia” this week.
Happy_new_year1
The card does not even require all the flowers – if you want to cut down costs. Sometimes i think the embellishments take away from all the stamping details and effort i do for my card. I have added to the flowers “Stardust” Stickles and to the glover “Lime Green”, the sentiment is lined with Copic Spica pen to add soft subtle sparkle.
Happy_new_year2
Stamps: Magnolia Tilda with piglet (Jolly 2009), Happy New Year (New Year 2008/2009), Glover with Horseshoe (Fortune Collection 2009) all available though Magnolia-lious
Swirls to frame my card: Hampton Arts
Papers: K&Company and Stampin up
Embellishments: Flowers and gems by Magnolia

Dressy Tilda

Hello, lucky me :-) i have made this card in November 2008 and it works for this weeks Copic Challenge blog :-) what a time saver for me right now. The Challenge is to color transparent things. I did color the glass with C1 but on top of that i have added some paper glaze to give the card the "3d " look. Due to the time of the year the card was made i have picked the sentiment.. but don't you think those papers and layout would be quite nice for a congratulation Wedding or Engagement card? The blue flower was airbrushed to match Tilda's dress.

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda and glass from the New Years Collection 2008 (7kids got a brand new shipment of stamps in)
Papers: I think it was imaginice, Stampin up
Embellishments: Stampin up, paper glaze
Tools: Nestabilities circle and sewing machine

oh ladies i have totally forgot to tell you about Carole's fab blog candy lol.. hmm do i want to tell giggle.. i have entered this time too.. WANT the stamps lol hop over to Stardust Gems and Ribbons and take a look.

Happy Fourth

Hello and a wonderful Friday. Today's card is created using the wonderful sketch that Heidi has prepared for us to follow on the Friday Sketcher blog. As simple as this sketch looks like.. i had really some trouble with it.
I don't know if you can see it but the paper i have used to stamp Tilda on is my newest favorite paper lol. My friend Jacque told me so much about this paper for a long time, but boy this CS is so pricey i was NOOOO iam not buying it.. i use Neenah paper.. so she sent me a full pack to play with lol.. thank you so much sweetie. Girls i tell you.. this paper is a DREAM. It kind of looks like Stampin up's Shimmery white cs.. the Copics blend like butter on it and if you cut images out it still does look so nice because the paper is thin. The sparkle of this paper is amazing.. it almost brings your images alive. I was worried with airbrushing but even with this layer of color on top of the paper it still sparkles. The Tilda with bird card was made with this card stock as well. oh... now you want to know the name of the paper right it is called Curious Iridescent Paper color "Cryogen White"

Edit: Please check out the 2009 blog hop "Cards for Heros". I was informed by Carole W. and i thought i submit this card. I do not have a personal experience with soldiers who serve the Untited States but i have the highest respect for each and anyone who serves to protect and make any country save. My uncle from my mothes side served for the Untited States in the Army. If you join the blog hop you can win many prizes sponsored by example Hero Arts ect. the first start for you to hop can be found at Cathy's fabulous blog.

Make a wish

Hello and happy Wednesday. For my card today i used some paper of Basic Greys "Phoebe" stack. I loved the vines and that the paper has some dark pink inside, i thought would look nice with clover Tilda is holding. Besides that the dark pink inside the paper gave me the opportunity to give Tilda some extra color. I stamped Tilda 2x, than cut one with the circle Nestabilitie and the second one with scissors once colored in i added her with pop-up dots over the circle part. The clover she is holding is painted in addition to the Copics with Celery Green Shimmerz paints. Stamp: Tilda GL 09 and sentiment by Magnolia Fortune Collection
Embellishments: Stampin up ribbons and Shimmerz paint in Celery Green
Tools: Nestabilities and Martha Stewart border punch

Happy St Patricks Day

Hello and a happy St. Patricks Day :-) For my card today i wanted to make a more masculine card. Loved the hat with stick just by itself but than i thought.. hmmm.. lil Edwin would look nice on that long panel. No sentiment but now that i look at the card - i think a long one tucked underneath the hat image, would look nice. Sometimes i see stuff like that only when adding the pictures to the blog. Oh well :-)

Papers: all by Stampin up and Designer Paper: Polka Dot - piece of scrap from the DCVW Nanna Nursery pack, Bo Bunny: "Alissa Adorable"

Embellishments: Stampin up ribbon, Making Memories brads

Good Luck - Fortune Collection

Hello and happy Monday. Yiiipeeee...Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net
i have received some new stamps :-) the Fortune Collection :-) is here :-) In Germany i have never celebrated St. Patrick's Day but oh my.. those stamps are sooo cute and it was really easy to make cards with those lovely stamps. I did not even need to go to a store and get some extra stuff. Love that even more :-) The cards for this week are fairly simple... Niklas ear infection got worse and in addition he is diagnosed with Asthma. I was all over the place this past week. Soooo.. what shall i tell you :-) I love simple cards - because sometimes i just do not have the time to finish them up in the inside AND also ... quite honestly.. some people (hello Mama.. don't even care if the card is super fancy). Isn't this not also one other good reason to love the Magnolia's??? They just make any card look so sweet.

Stamps: All Magnolia GL09 Tilda with Umbrella and Sentiment: GL09 Good Luck (Fortune 2009 Collection)CS/Designer Paper: Stampin up: Certainly Celery, Blue Bayou, Basic Grey 6x6 "Urban Prairie" pad
Embellishments: Making Memories: eyelet, Stampin up: ribbon
Tools: Sewing machine and Stampin up circle punches

Happy St Patricks Day

Hello and happy Saturday. Today i have 2 cards made with the very new Alota Rubberstamps "St. Patricks" and Reginas' Cutting Cafe images.
Iam native from Germany and we do not celebrate St. Patricks day, so i was kind of worried what i could create.. but the cute stamps made it really easy to make some fast and nice cards with not many supplies i needed.

Stamp: Alota Rubberstamp "Shamrock Basket"
(this stamp has the perfect size so a Magnolia Tilda could sit on it)
This card is 5.5 x 5.5 inches. I cut out the clover and curled the leafs with a pen to give it more dimension - adhered it to the circle shape with pop up dots. The clover is painted with Shimmerz paints in Celery Green.

Stamps: 4 leaf clover, Lucky Terri Bug and sentiment is out of the great St. Patricks day set that Regina from The Cutting Cafe designed
Embellishments: Shimmerz paints in Celery Green, Wild Wasbi Ribbon, Making Memories, SU brads
Papers: Wild Wasabi, Heidi Swapp
You know how much i love Stampin up products :-) i use the papers on every card i craft. Have you seen Marlenes amazing blog candy??? She gives several kits away stacked with lovely papers and even Stampin up punches!!!

Happy New Year

Finally i was able to dig into some pinks for today's card. gosh i loved the card that Carole made for yesterday :-) that totally inspired me! Don't get me wrong i love red but it was a nice change... i have made quite a few Santa cards over the weekend but i want to publish this card first. Isn't this New Years stamp the CUTEST??? Helene from Alota Rubberstamps has a new Designer and this person make just the perfect stamps to use with the Magnolia stamps. It does not show well but i used lots and lots of sparkly Glitter pens on the Cylinder and on the crown. The white horizontal panel is Bazzill Bling CS embossed with Cuttlebug Swirls folder and on the black mat i used Stickles to make it sparkle too. Fairly simple layout but when i color a lot i don't want to have too busy patterns with CS going on. I hope you like this card. Have a happy day. Thanks for clicking by today.
Stamps: Tilda Magnolia Party hat with crown can be found at Alota RubberstampsCS/DP: American Crafts, Stampin up, Bazzill white blingEmbellishments/coloring: Stickles, Copics, Copic Glitter pens, Prima Marketing flowers, Making Memories for all brads
If you like please swing over to the Friday Sketcher blog...it is my turn with a sketch for this week and we have again a fabulous prize you can win if you follow the sketch. You can see my sample card on my second blog if you like or also check what Jaqueline, Kristine, Bea, Carole Murmur and Heidi came up with.
