Make a wish little princess

Hei there.. sorry for my lac of postings. I feel like I sit in my craft area every day but nothing comes together. Well.. I do make cards to post for next month too and its just quite some time to cover. I really enjoy creating the scenes lately but boy it really does take so much more time than just stamping a Tilda on a paper and get going with coloring and making the card. Not sure if I can keep up with this much longer. I thought this image would be so cute for a baby or even a girl in her toddler ages. It’s not the newborn card I would sent. Thought this way the card could be used / kept a little longer before sent off.

Some of you asked about the pretty sentiment I used on my Koala “hug” card. Well.. good news.. Tammi might have her pretty sentiments made into Rubberstamps. I will keep you posted as soon I know more. The one I used on my card today is also made by Tammi.

Edwin

Hello my dears… today’s card is for Just Magnolia where we would like to see Edwin used or make a Fathers Day card for this week.
Dear Sonja from Germany kindly asked me if I would make her a card using this image.. and I was happy to get a chance to work some cards ahead of time. It’s just so much easier this way.

Dad… it’s time to have some fun!

Claudia_Rosa_Time to have fun_1
Today I have a little card to share … just in time for Fathers Day. Maybe you need one??? I listed this card on Etsy. As always the inside is lovingly decorated as well. It was hard to take a picture of the inside because the card opens like a book. The inside features the same image/motif just black and white and has a circular Sentiment “happy Fathers day” sentiment in the upper left corner. (please note.. all my images are adhered with super strong glue to the cards so they can not be taken off and reused elsewhere Smile ) This card is slightly smaller than 6x6, just to make sure it slides in easily into a clear acetate envelope.
Mind you… tearing those waves out to correctly overlap the other waves and arrange them on my base took me almost longer than coloring that image in. Since I had this thing with the waves already going.. I made a second card kind of like that Smile giggle.. I will give some time and post it a little  later maybe in July so the cards are not published too close to each other. hahahaha.. but you guys visit me so often, know you will spot my copy right away, so I thought I rather confess right away – I am a little cheater.

Happy Birthday

Claudia_Rosa_scooter boy_4
Seams I am on a “boy-card” roll … those new Lili of the Valley images are just too cute. I was looking though my stash to find some silver star embellishments but I have nothing left…. I guess the pewter kind will have to do for now.
Claudia_Rosa_scooter boy_2
As always I find it quite hard to find interesting and different embellishments for my boy cards. Who would have thought that this little chipboard crown my sweet friend Kristine gave me years ago as a Christmas gift would end up on a boy card Smile. The maker is RiffRaff and back than when I looked around to get some more, they were so hard to find and if so.. they are quite pricey, but today is the day lol it’s been used.. can not hold on forever on those things, right Smile

on a scale from 1 to 10

Claudia_Rosa_Superstar_4
Hi there…
a “simple” boy card for the start in my new room.
So annoying.. I wanted to use some red buttons on the bottom right corner but of course they are not here.. sometimes I am so stuck in my head with a certain thing that I want to use, I hardly can move forward with out it. So after trying several things out without really liking it, I took the key and went into that large container in our drive way. lol… nothing was there to get to easily, so I gave up on my red buttons for this card.
Claudia_Rosa_Superstar_1
The image is from the new released Lili of the Valley boy line (May 2012) I did a little TLC to the ball, I tried to hand sketch the lines for a soccer ball in but as previously blogged about I am NOT a good “doodler” at all, so the ball got polka dots instead. A Copic Mulitipen in size 0.05mm works really well for that purpose.
Claudia_Rosa_Superstar_2
Since boy cards are always harder to embellish, I went with a fun interactive card style. It’s fairly easy to make the instructions can be found at Splitcoast. – this one is made same sizes as the wiper card was made over there but I have made just recently for Magnolia ink a larger kind to accommodate a standing Tilda (Banana Tilda – Limited Supply Challenge) and it worked well too.

Stamps: Lili of the Valley “Goalie Saves
Sentiment: Lili of the Valley & Stampin up
Papers: Magnolia – You are the Winner – line through Sir Stampalot
Ribbons misc embellishments through The Ribbon Girls
Stickles – Diamond (Grass) and Stardust (Ball)

Super Gal

Claudia_Rosa_Will_2
Sorry for my lack of postings… the family has been really sick. Today I had to make this birthday card Lucas needs for his best friend Will.  This little soccer guy is going to be released this weekend in England at Lili of the Valley’s open house.
Claudia_Rosa_Will_1
Stamps: Lili of the Valley “Super Striker”
Sentiment: Stampin up
Papers: My Minds Eye
Dies: My Favorite Things “Grass Border” – Its nice to have this AND the Magnolia grass die.. because the length of the grass is different. This one is a bit taller – which helps on certain layouts a lot.
Embellishments: Black grosgrain Ribbon – The Ribbon Girls,  Stickles, Spellbinder: Large Circle Grand, Medium Circle, Scalloped circle , Grand Calibur, Pink Paislee glitter alphabet stickers

Hi

Claudia_Rosa_Hi_1_pp
Hi girls.. today I have a “quick” card to show using one of the new Lili of the Valley images.
Niklas my youngest son got sick – for 3 days he has now a fever. There is usually not much crafting time for me left.

DT commitments usually can not stop with things like this and I am sure you have noticed already LOVT DT has already created some really sweet samples with the new forthcoming boy images.

I need 2 boy birthday cards for next week – so it worked out great for me.
This card is going to Joe – you might remember the Mo Mannig Karate card I made for him last year ? I still love the card and my friend has the card in Joe’s bedroom on display – which quite honestly makes me happy Smile I spent not too much time on this card, sometimes I think all the cards I can show on my blog must be “fancy” when for myself I like simple things too. The other card I am going to make for Will, will be a quick and simple one too. I don’t think those boys care much for frill anyways.

Papers: Basic Grey
Dies: Magnolia flower, Magnolia leaf, Magnolia speech bubble, Spellbinders Grand Square, Spellbinders Grand Scallop die

Happy first birthday

Claudia_Rosa_Babys first birthday_1
Hello friends.. a card with one of my new Magnolia’s Smile I went with a – I felt easy image, it just was less to think what kind of papers to pick and I really was intrigued to use the blue and yellow papers I found the other day in my old Stampin up stash. Some of you know that I rarely make baby cards, since I never use them, but I thought this image would work nicely for a boys first birthday card or even for the second year.. oh well.. I might be mistaken lol
I will make it short today. Iam off to take my kids to see the doc. Hugs

for a great guy…

Hello, how are you today?
Today I would love to show you a card, dear Pamela asked me to make for her husband. She loved Lili of the Valley’s aero plane image for a possible birthday card for her husband.
Claudia_Rosa_aeroplane_1
At first I was a bit hesitant to use flowers on a guy card, but Pamela assured me that it would be okay.. I thought the criss cross style pocket card would be a great solution to make it a bit more manly and also the use of those pretty new My Minds Eye paper. They gave me quite some choices on colors to use.
Claudia_Rosa_aeroplane_2
These are some of the supplies I used to make the card
Size: 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches – I found 6x6 a bit too large for the size of image
Sentiment: Stempelglede and Papertrey ink for ticket sentiment and ticket border die
Dies: Spellbinder lacy circle, Stampin up punch (to make the tabs), Stampin up ribbon, pearl brads, Memento ink, Walnut Stain, cheese cloth, Tim Holtz film strip
Claudia_Rosa_aeroplane_3
Off to get some stuff in the house done.. iam expecting my family in law to arrive this afternoonSmile
