I’d like to take a few minutes to talk about my card. A while back I have made for dear Pamela a anniversary card to give to her parents. She really liked this card and today is her very own anniversary – CONGRATULATIONS Pamela! and she asked me if I could make a card to give to her husband. She asked me if I would essentially re-make the first card but since I am out of the Basic Grey Wisteria paper we looked through some other paper options and she found this image by Lili of the Valley she also loved very much.

The making of this card took longer than usually. I do get often asked how long a card takes me.. Smile I can tell you this one took me good 5 hours to make. Every layer is sewn, the scalloped edge around the circular image, have been trimmed apart a border strip and arranged by hand and glued down. It’s fun to do this sometimes – but for sure not always :-0)

Happy Anniversary

Hello,
Today I can share a new “Millie” card. This image is not only super cute but compared to all the other images Lili of the Valley has surprisingly large. Which is nice to color in if you are advanced but also I can see it very rewarding for a new stamper. If you like to see an other sample in Pink and blue with airbrushed sky behind Millie.. you could click for a fast reference here

Happy Anniversary

Claudia_Rosa_anniversary_4
Hello friends..first let me thank you for all your kind and wonderful compliments and comments left!
Claudia_Rosa_anniversary_2
Today I would like to share a card with you, which was ordered by sweet Pamela for her parents forthcoming wedding anniversary. Pamela and I spoke about 3 possible images that could work and I was so thrilled she liked this cute image. Some of you may know I am not too much into baby cards or Wedding cards at all. In fact this card is my very first “Anniversary” card I have ever made, if I remember correctly.

I liked that this image gave me the possibility to use some colored papers and I knew right away I wanted to use my very few sheets of Basic Grey’s Wisteria paper. I loved this paper so much. Do you guys remember when at the time the kind of matching Magnolia line came out? OMG.. we all used this paper giggle
Anyways..
The stamped sentiment in the inside says
”The best thing to hold onto in life is each other
Happy Anniversary”
I was able to fit it to a nice sized paper and place it so to the pattern paper, that the Wisteria flowers look like they are cascading over the sentiment. The card base was easy to make you will need 1 full sheet of 12x12 paper. With Bazzill bling you want to be very carefully with scoring. I had to do mine twice because I wanted the fronts to close really tightly, any gap will show up even wider on photos AND if you have patterned paper adhered in the inside.
