Hello dear friends thank you for visiting me today.
Today I participate in a very special challenge… Papertake weekly is turning 5!!!! OMG I can not believe it it is one of the challenge blogs I was with when I started to blog. I hardly can’t believe it that its already that long.
Well and since my friend Dawny has set up a very special birthday party for the blog.. there are some AWESOME prizes on Papertake Weekly to win AND also on the DT blogs.
So if you leave me a comment here, you are entering for a stamp which Janice from Sir Stampalot has sponsored. I will draw the winner on Friday and you will have until Saturday to get in contact with me. No strings attached just have fun, hop to all at the blogs and join in.
If you do like to enter for the big prizes on Papertake Weekly – the theme this time is “ANYTHING GOES” easy as pie.
I’d like to take a few minutes to talk about my card. A while back I have made for dear Pamela a anniversary card to give to her parents. She really liked this card and today is her very own anniversary – CONGRATULATIONS Pamela! and she asked me if I could make a card to give to her husband. She asked me if I would essentially re-make the first card but since I am out of the Basic Grey Wisteria paper we looked through some other paper options and she found this image by Lili of the Valley she also loved very much.
The making of this card took longer than usually. I do get often asked how long a card takes me.. I can tell you this one took me good 5 hours to make. Every layer is sewn, the scalloped edge around the circular image, have been trimmed apart a border strip and arranged by hand and glued down. It’s fun to do this sometimes – but for sure not always :-0)
