Happy

Hello, today i would like to show you a card made with a stamp (Stampavie “Soaking up the sun) i got at Cute Stamps and Cards. Doesn’t it make you smile too when you look at that cute girls little face???Enjoy_1_re

I really like how this card turned out. I have used some bright colors from a Basic Grey paper pad which had lots of butterflies on.. well but than i went a bit crazy with my cute “Petaloo” gem flowers and i think most of them ended up being covered. Oh well :-)

BTW.. what you you think of that scalloped frame around the circle? I have never seen those Nellie Snellen dies (perfect fit with the Nesties!!) before.. but than my friend Crissy sent me one the other day and i asked where she got it and she told me.. well.. over at Cute Stamps and Cards. I felt like … upsi.. i should better know what my Boss is selling hahahaha.

Enjoy_re

Be sure to check out all the samples for inspiration posted by the Design team Tanja came up with a sketch for this week.. actually i think it such a fun one that my card for tomorrow uses it again:-) hopefully you will play along and post your own creation on the Friday Sketcher blog where we have "Prairie Fairy" sponsoring a sweet prize this week!

Thank you

Hello my dear friends. Wow.. the weekend is almost here. Iam happy to show you my first card made with my DT package from Cute Stamps and Cards. The store carries EVERYTHING you will need for cardmaking and even more exciting.. check out the embellishment section. I have recieved flowers and pearl ribbon sliders i have not found on ebay or anywhere else here in the US.
The card was made using the sketch over on Friday Sketchers blog for this week. You might think is a bit tricky due to the akward panels and will take a long time to make, i would like to share with you what i have done to speed things up and create 2 same cut pieces that are actually layered.

Over your card base (floral paper) arrange your 2 rectangular shapes, so they are in place as you like them to sit. Than use a ruler and trace with a pencil (iam talking now just about the bottom part where you will have to cut your rectangles in a shape) around the card base as guide. Than add both pieces (in my case the greens) over each other and trim a long the lines with your paper cutter. The Desinger paper was cut slightly smaller and i cut them in the same fashion. Remember to that you layer the patterned paper facing each other, before you cut both at the same time. So when you are finished cutting you will have a left and a right side. Hope this makes sense. First my panel was 2 1/4 i thought it was too narrow, now the panels are 2.5" (green paper) on my card.

Stamps: "Bella And Bronte" available at Cute Stamps and Cards
Papers: Basic Grey "Sugar Rush", Stampin up (Lovely Lilac, Celery Green)
Embellishments: Gardenia flowers, Prima Marketing Swirls, Martha Stewart Pearl Stickers, Ribbon and "thank you" charm (Michaels), Stickles

Be sure to check out all the samples for inspiration posted by the Design team, and then hopefully you will play along and post your own creation on the Friday Sketcher blog where we have "Sunshine Stamps" sponsoring a sweet prize this week!

A Note For You

Hello! Thank you so much for all your good wishes yesterday! You are all so kind xxx
We took Lucas yesterday to the ER after he complained Saturday late night that his entire hand is in pain and his finger started to look like a big pear shape (filled with blood) and the nail tip blue to his wrist is blue. The X-rays showed that he did break his finger. The doctor said that we have to go back in 4 days and if he does not improve he might have to have surgery. The way his finger looks after such an accident is normal. Yesterday Lucas was doing much better but Saturday night my husband and i really worried because of his complaints in his entire hand. We thought that he got an infection. Puuuh... this is the first big accident one of my kids had. iam sorry if i freaked out :-) More to accidents probably to expect i guess lol
This card was made for the Bi-weekly STAMPAVIE challenge using the provided sketch from Franzi. Thank you!

Stamps: Sarah Kay "Rosalies Biycle" by Stampavie available through 7Kids College Fund, Sentiment: Stampin up (level 1)
Paper/CS: K&Company 8x8 Madelaine, Stampin up (Close to Cocoa, Purely Promegranate)

Baby Boy Gift Box

Hello.. today i can show you the baby boy box i have made using a template that can be found at Regina's Cutting Cafe. To decorate the box I used the "free" papers and "free" ribbon i have earned through Stampin up's Sell-A-Bration time :-) so this was really inexpensive to make. The bear stamp is called "Garden Bears" and is from new Rachelle Anne Miller line - you can see all the new designs over on STAMPAVIE. I know that 7kids has all the new stamps pre-ordered and they should become available shortly! I got some cute clothes from Gymboree and tucked some into the box. For the rest i will make something different. I could not resist the tiny stuff and got a bit more :-) A simple punched border for the inside with a stamped sentiment from the set "congratulations" - also free :-) - finishes it up in the inside.
Don't forget to check out Jodi's fabulous blog candy! She has gathered some lovely papers, embellishments and some great stamps!!!

This card is sold - Vielen lieben Dank Sonja K. xxx
Hello and good morning. I would like to show you the finished card using the cute Sarah Kay image i have used for my "limited marker" Copic Coloring Tutorial. Some of the daisies had some red, while i have tried to work and hubby taking pictures. So i colored over those spots with a white gel pen to make them white again. The image is framed with grunge stamps that Kristine sent me for Christmas and Blush Blossom Stampin up ink.

Please see what the other DT for Cute Card Thursday girls came up with. They all made a wonderful sample card for this weeks challenge

You are still a spring chick

Hello and happy Tuesday. I have to apologize for my pictures today.. it got so cold in Michigan that all my pictures for some reason have a blue tint to it. If i photo edit too much that the card would not look anything like it at all. It's sad this card does look really pretty in real - not so cold as the pic turned out.
The card was created using this weeks Ismaki sketch. I wanted to use some of my scraps i had from last year. This pretty Imaginice paper is just so pretty and it looks wonderful with Sarah Kay... image. If you are not a wholesaler you could check out 7 kids college fund. Tab does carry the entire collection of STAMPAVIE's stamp lines.

The sketch asked for 3 panels.. i did not want to cover up too much of my pretty blue flower paper, so i embossed Vellum with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder and layered it according to the sketch. The white mat is cut out by hand but on the blue shape i used a Nestabilitie shape. It is hard to see but there is some Stickles around the yellow mat for the main image. One flower (top right corner) is airbrushed to match my DP.
This is the inside of the card. Again bad pictures - so sorry!
Supplies used: Sarah Kay "Country Girl" by STAMPAVIE available through 7 Kids College fund if you are not a wholesaler
Other: Martha Stewart embossing punch, Nestabilities, Stickles, Prima Flowers, Making Memories buttons, Copic Sketch Markers and Airbrushing System
simply gorgeous pearl brads where sent to me by my fabulous friend Carole!!!
Copics: o, bg23, bg10, e31,e39, r20,yg05, yr21, yg00,e00,bg11,r05, e34,yr20, y21, r08, e000,y23
EDIT TO ADD: i just got the information from Tab 7 kids College fund that this Nestabilitie shape is being discontinued

xoxo - gift idea

Hello and happy Monday - today i have something "little" to show, literally :-) kids are still home from school but it i still do some crafts once they are in bed. My little bag was inspired by those fun xo soap's i saw at Michaels. They came in a box that looked just like my scraps of Designer paper. I cut the pieces out with the Sizzix "Top Note" and cut a paper bag to size and adhered the pieces to it. The image is from the new Leree Aldrich Collection you can find her over at STAMPAVIE, but if you are not a wholesaler you can purchase all the stamps through 7 Kids College Fund - even the cute LeLo Design stamps who are fairly new.
The Leree Aldrich stamps have several Sentiments that can be used with the images. I loved that poodle and i used him to make my tag for the bag. All the images are colored with Copic Markers, i used Stickles on the bubbles.

Picnic Time

As i told you yesterday Heidi Johnston from STAMPAVIE was so sweet to allow me to give some cute Sarah Kay stamps as blog candy for you. For now i have picked 3 stamps which i think would be great to use all year round. What wonderful cards those images make sure to please and make the recipient happy. Since it is New Year - i don't ask you to do much.. if you like it would be nice of you to tell your readers on you blog about the candy. Just leave a message underneath this posting and i will draw 3 lucky winners. Just one question.. please give your entry a number. First entry number 1, second 2 and so on and on.. this way it is easier for me to pick 3 winners each gets one stamp.

This card was made by Heidi Jonston for me! isn't it the cutest??? Heidi is not only a fantastic business woman she is also a fabulous stamper and she loves to make cards with all sorts of stamps - that's why she understands what we want and what we are looking for in stamps. Thank you Heidi for sending me your darling card. Love Claudia
Happy New Year to all of you - Please be safe!

Friendly Dragon

Hello and happy Saturday. It has been a long time since i have made a boy card. I thought the cute LeLo dragon is so cute so he was the first stamp i made a card with from this collection. Since i just had colored the Rachelle Anne Miller frogs green i wanted to use other colors with for him and i like him in orange :-) The layout was actually intended to use up some sraps lol.. but during the process i have created even more. lol.. once it was too dark blue other times it was too orange. The lower panel DP, makes all the difference what color you want to be dominant.
Stamps: STAMPAVIE LeLo Desings "Flower Dragon"
CS/DP: Stampin up
Embellishments: Prima, Stampin up, Making Memories, Martha Stewart punch, Stickles, Robins Nest
