Poppy Tilda – Special

Hello dears,

Thank you for taking time to see my card for today.
I received from Sir Stampalot this very cute new exclusive Tilda stamp. Her name is “Poppy Tilda” and she is just adorable. As always, I love when I can fit a Magnolia Tilda into a circle shape, plus this image is going to be quite easy to cut (the stem of the flower isn’t very skinny). Poppy Tilda works for all sorts of occasions – plus did you know that the poppy flower stands for fallen soldiers? I can imagine that this image would make a great addition to a collection to make a very special card for someone who lost a brave soldier. I can see this image colored all in deep reds and black, but for my card today I used some of this lovely Basic Grey Paper Janice from Sir Stampalot added into my parcel. It is very soft and romantic.

For this challenge, show us how you can combine at least three of those hues to celebrate The Beauty of a Rainbow on your card or creation! Remember, too, that while we spotlight three true beauties winners per challenge, our FAVORITE entry this month will also be asked if they would like to join the team for the August Challenge!

Yet again, I am using Flourishes Mothers Words of Wisdom stamp set to stamp my image on I used Flourishes Classic white card stock. I used the flower wreath image and stamped with Memento Tuxedo black. I distressed all the edges with Ranger Walnut ink and I layered the focal image with Spellbinder's die circle die, mounted the panels on a shape I was able to cut at Angies house yesterday and finished the card of with some ribbons and a cherry blossom. Its small, simple but cute and just the right card for my mother.

my first Mothers Day Card for this year Smile
Loved those cute papers I have found in my neglected Stampin up stash. Speaking of stash… I bet I have like 4 –5 sets of those punch around the corner sets.. and they hardly ever see use these days.

Just Buzzin' By To Say Happy Mothers Day

To create the multi layered wings - i colored Tilda in like i have seen it on Carole's card . I than stamped the image multiple times onto Vellum and just cut the wings out and the part of the sleeve. Than i used a Zig glue pen and glued the Vellum together (part of sleeve). Once dried i folded the Vellum on the line of the wings up and glued it down to the main image. The wings on the main image are painted with Shimmerz paints in Pixie Dust.

This sentiment is created with the Computer! I thought i is sooo cute ;-) i have asked Helene from Alota Rubberstamps if she would be able to make this sentiment into a stamp... I hope she will.. If you are interested as well would you please sent her a email :-) info@alotarubberstamps.com

The inside is made up to match the front ot the card. I have used different Nestabilitie shapes. If you like all the very new ones take a look at 7kids!!! Tab just got a new delivery with all the new CHA releases in!
Coloring: all Copic markers and Neenah paper an be found at 7 kids college fund

Thank you

Today i would love to show you one of my DT cards i created for Magnolia on December 2. when we had to work with tags. Yes.. i did use on this card one sheet of Stampin up paper. The DP we usually get are cut to size 6x6 and the the pocket style card was just PERFECT to use the two middle sized tags we had to work with :-) Instead of using glue i used silver thread and sewed the card. It does look really nice and elegant and silver shine get picked up in the ribbons as well. I think this card would also be very cute as a Mothers Day card.

Just a little side note.. i used the same color R20 to color Tildas apron and to make her cheeks rosy.
