This month the hostess is Anne-Elise and we've been challenged to Remember our
Friends! Where would we be without our friends? We laugh together and share
our dreams, and when things are hard, we want to be there for them or be a
shoulder to cry on when they grieve. Today we remember those friends with
Sympathy, Missing You, Thinking of You or even Wishing You Were Here cards and
perhaps we'll even have a special story to tell you about those friends that
have inspired us along the way.

I stamped my floral piece from Flourishes “Summer Blossom SS197” set onto Kraft cardstock and colored the flowers with pencils in. The sentiment is from “Hydrangea SS 194 and is one of a set of 7 beautiful stamps” and I stamped it on some lovely papers by My Minds Eye “Rosy” which is also available at Flourishes. Dies (frame and the border die) are both made by Magnolia they can be found through Sir Stampalot.

Yet again, I am using Flourishes Mothers Words of Wisdom stamp set to stamp my image on I used Flourishes Classic white card stock. I used the flower wreath image and stamped with Memento Tuxedo black. I distressed all the edges with Ranger Walnut ink and I layered the focal image with Spellbinder's die circle die, mounted the panels on a shape I was able to cut at Angies house yesterday and finished the card of with some ribbons and a cherry blossom. Its small, simple but cute and just the right card for my mother.

Bring Back Beautiful Challenge Team ~ Flourishes

Bring Back Beautiful_edited-2
Hello again! Today I would like to share with you my first Design Team card for the Bring Back Beautiful Challenge! I am so excited to be invited to participate for Flourishes in this monthly challenge and also along with those wonderful talented Designers. Have you seen the wonderful Flourishes stamps? I love, love, love the all the flower sets the company has. OMG, how exciting to be able to do something different than cute cards.  For the ones of you who have not been on any of the Flourishes sites, it may be nice to know that Flourishes has several Challenges – you could check them all out going from the store site to all the Challenges, that are currently running. Bring Back Beautiful Challenge is a challenge that runs always 1 entire month, starting Mondays.

Claudia_Rosa_Flourishes_Happy Spring
For this month’s Bring Back Beautiful challenge, we’d like to honor those in our lives that bless us with their friendship with THE BEAUTY OF FRIENDSHIP. The challenge is just that simple – make a card or creation with a friend in mind! The Bring Back Beautiful Team did an amazing job showcasing all the ways you can send off some caring thoughts to those special people in our lives.

Flourishes stamps are clear acryl stamps – I love those cute little bunnies in the grass so much, so before it was too late to use this year I wanted to make a simple Spring card with “Spring has Sprung” to sent to dear Janice. I stamped the image onto Copic x-Press Cardstock with Memento ink and it stamped all details the very first time perfectly. Got to love that!!!
