Hello friends, I hope you  have had a great Christmas and I am sure since we all have been good through out the year you all got spoiled with lovely gifts.
I sure was and I am so grateful for all the big and little surprises I have received from my family and friends.

No better reason to start to make some “Thank you” cards to give to those wonderful people.
I was as most of you quite busy before the holidays and I did not feel like coloring skin in, worrying about shadows etc, every time I feel that way I love to go though my Lili of the Valley animal themed stamps. They are first just so cute and second you get away with almost anything There are no “mistakes”.

A little Tag

This card is a bit than my usual card size only 5.5 x 5.5.  The focal point image is a bit smaller than the standing girls and although I added a shaker to the front of my card I think the smaller size works well.

Hello, I am soooo late with my personal Christmas cards for this year… this week I really got to get my act together and get some done. I sent mail the other day to my mother in Germany and it took her 3 weeks to get it. Pewh.. that means all my Christmas mail for overseas I should probably post by the end of next week to make sure it will arrive in time.

Gift Idea

Hello girls,

today I would like to share with you my first Design Team project for “Deep Ocean” Challenge. Dear Franz and Alberto invited me back in August when I have met them both in Roma. I must say I was thrilled, both of them are so super sweet and I am happy to be able to stay in touch with both of them as team members. Jeepeee!

For the next two weeks you can submit pretty much anything you have created, since the theme is “Anything Goes” loving challenges like that hahaha
I have been working over the weekend on a few things to post to Janice to England since Sir Stampalot is having their 5th annual Demo Day at the end of this month – more info at the bottom of this posting.

Since saw in Janice’s newsletter that the shop is going to have the brand new

 available I thought it could be maybe something she would like. The sleeve can be easily taken off filled with Copic’s and slides back on. Being with you, is like Christmas morning each day

Hello friends, today I can show you a card I can say I am truly pleased the way this image turned out.


Yes, the colours are a bit darker than my usual bright coloring but for me this is as “vintage” I can get things done
The card was ordered by dear Pamela N. , we spoke about several images and it came down to Lili of the Valley’s “Together at Christmas”The card will be for her husband and we thought “being with you…. is like Christmas morning every day” would be quite nice.

Christmas Animals LOVT peek

Hello girls, first I need to apologize! I said I would post the winner of my Magnolia candy yesterday and the posting did go online.
So here without no further delay XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX you please email me toXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX your postal addy?! You have won the candy Thank you so much for all your sweet comments I was happy to read them and I will try to post a stamp here and there.

Well, well.. my kids just got picked up by their grandparents from Canada to spent a week there, before school starts for them. Wow.. I will have a full week all for myself whooohoo!! So this weekend I will help my husband laying the hardwood floor in the basement but than I have like 5!!! I feel dizzy without any alcohol hahaha. Definitely want to use some of this time with my stamps. I have the feelings since I came home from Germany I have to squeeze stamping time in all the time and I have not even had a chance to play with my new images. This one is from the forthcoming Lili of the Valley “Christmas Animals” I am sure you saw already some samples. I am not quite there yet to make 100% Christmas cards, so my cards for now are more “Winter” and inspired and fit in the “card for all occasions” section. I think I will get there eventually There are some really sweet images in this new collection and most of all.. some are going to be so easy to color in – perfect for those last minute cards or little gifts to decorate – cause really who can spent 1 hour coloring to decorate like a bunch of gift boxes?

Gee… I was chatty today.. you can tell already – I  am in “relax” mode hahahaha

Cute new LOVT’s

wow.. the new Lili of the Valley’s are most adorable. I finally got a chance to make a selection of my favorites and get them lead out on my craft table to find papers that work with them. Mind you… my basement is not near as finished… all my Christmas supplies are tucked in the container. I was promised by the time I am back home its all been taken care off…. I think it will still take til the end of September. This image is called  “Snow Queen” and it is shipping already!

Luckily this Magnolia quilt paper fits quite nicely with the round snowflakes on the image and the blue paper from the wedding line pulls the “cold” into the layout I was looking for.
The big scroll was cut from silver chipboard… I have my die for a while now – I searched high and low and its not available for us in the USA but you can find it at Timbroscrapmania (I saw it in Barbara’s shop while I was there). The flowers I use are from my local Dollar store.. they are a bit pricier than if I ordered with Wild Orchid Crafts but its just convenient to grab a bag or two while aim there.

The inside is as always decorated as well. I used a really beautiful shimmery grey panel to add the handwriting to the card. A white gel pen will do the trick (but the panel can be easily removed) The opposite side has the full scroll heart shape, also cut from silver chipboard. Some corners and the flowers have “frosted” petals with Glass Glitter.

Christmas in July

wow.. my first Christmas card for 2012/2013… can’t believe it. This card was actually quite difficult for me to make since all my Christmas stuff is still outside in my container with the rest of the craft supplies. I was lucky to find it tucked in some summer sheets. I had cut this paper last year to make a card with it and probably ran out of time. That’s what I sometimes do, if I feel like I want to do something on my craft table but not feel really in the mood coloring, I would maybe just make like 3 card layouts to use later.

The image is by Saturated Canary and is soon available in Rubber through Little Darlings. I like the size of the girl. Lots of space to color in (striped stocking test passed lol) and nice size to use on 6x6 cards. Little Darlings Rubber Stamps is currently at CHA in Rosemont, Illinois if you find time, you can meet the girls in Booth 918.
