"Live It Up" Layout

Hello Scrappers! :)
Today I'm sharing with you another layout I created this week.  I've had so much fun playing along with a lot of the scrapbook challenges lately!  Challenges really help me get my pages done! :)

This layout is of my oldest daughter hanging out on the Las Vegas Strip.

To create this layout, I combined  these challenges:

~ a sketch from STUCK SKETCHES (I rotated it):

~ I used My Mind's Eye collection for the A CHERRY ON TOP's Manufacturer challenge
~ I used circles, gold and bling for the RED CARPET STUDIO'S "87th Acadamy Awards" challenge.
If you love challenges as much as I do make sure you check out these challenges and try them out1 :)

Happy Scrapping!

Love HIM!!

Hi Scrappers!

Over the weekend I had a fabulous time hanging out it the girls at the Scrap Society's Pink Ladies crop!   I have a few pictures below of our day.  But for now I want to share a couple of layouts and a card I created on at the crop:

Here's a layout I created using a sketch from Let's Scrap's March International scrapbooking day challenge:

Here's the sketch:
This sketch is a double page sketch but I condensed it to 1 page and flipped it.  I also combined it with Red Carpet Studios challenge #90  "Casablanca" challenge to use Black and white with a pop of another color.

Lastly,  I created this card from my stash for the  Feeling Sketchy card challenge:

Here's the sketch:

Here's another layout I did at the crop.  It's a "selfie I took of myself on the way to the Usher Concert:
I created this one for the Scrap It Girl Selfie challenge and I combined it with another Red Carpet Studio challenge - #91 "My Fair "Lady":

If you would like to join in on these FUN challenges please check out their blogs --

Lastly, here are some photos from the crop:

Thanks for stopping by!

My Babies

Hello Crafters!  Before I share my layout I wanted say thank you to Red Carpet Studio Challenge Blog for a fun and fabulous design team term.  My time has come to an end as a DT and I wish that I could manage another term but the next couple of months are going to be tough for me since my scrap room is all packed up and I am on limited supplies!!!  I am hoping that these months go by fast and before I know it, I will be unpacking into my NEW Scraproom!!

So without further ado, here is my last layout for Red Carpet Studio:
(I used sketch by My Scrap or More Sketches - sketch#41)

The challenge:

The challenge is to use MIST on our layout.  I used 3 different Tattered Angels Mist to create my layout - the background splashes, the Linnie Blooms triangle shapes, Linnie Blooms rectangle shape (I cut into a circle), and the Linnie Blooms Flower shapes.  I used Maya Mist for the Linnie Blooms  leaf shapes.

You can find more of these Linnie Blooms Shapes at Linnie Blooms Shop.

RCS Blog Hop

Just because there's not snow on the ground, doesn't mean Christmas can't be celebrated a few months early! Happy Christmas in July, everyone, and welcome to Red Carpet Studio's Christmas in July blog hop!

If you're unfamiliar with Red Carpet Studio, we're a challenge blog that challenges crafters to create projects inspired by movies! Right now we offer alternating weekly card and layout challenges, but starting in September we'll be opening up our challenges to any types of projects that fit our theme, as well as extending the duration of the challenges to biweekly to give you awesome crafters more time to create and play along! We're also having a design team call!

Now onto my project.. I typically do not do digital layouts, but I came across this gorgeous digital kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs.  The kit is called Woodsy Wonderland by Meghan Mullens.  I love the colors and elements that came with it and I had to get it and I created this digital layout with it:

And of course we have some wonderful sponsors giving away gifts to those who are a follower of Red Carpet Studio (either through Google or Blog Lovin') and comment on EVERY stop of the hop!

$5 Gift Certificate

$10 Gift Certificate

5 Digis of Winner's Choice

Winners will be randomly chosen and announced on Tuesday July 23rd along with the winners of our Action Wobble challenge!

Also, I am giving away a small RAK:
All you have to do is leave and comment below and follow my blog! I will randomly select a winner! :)

Your next stop is Darcy's blog.

Happy Hopping!
