Gift Tag -Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

Hello, It's Monday and time for another Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog challenge, this weeks theme is...
Trimming With a Tag
Use a tag somewhere on your project

I made a cute box using the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge the largest I could make it on my 12"x 12" mat, I love these little boxes, after folding the box I inked all over the edges. To go along with the challenge theme I made a tree gift tag, It can also be used as a Christmas tree ornament, fun idea huh? The beautiful crinkle ribbon is from Prairie Bird Boutique.
So what's in the box? Divinity, light and fluffy very sweet treat, this recipe has been passed down for a few generations, my husband is our holiday baker and makes many of our Christmas goodies.
Our Fantabulous Cricut sponsor this week is Core'dinations. If you haven't heard of them, they have the most amazing color core cardstock, which is great for sanding, to bring out a second or rather the core color that is beneath the first layer. Core'dinations have been so generous to let a few of the Fantabulous Cricut design team members create using this wonderful cardstock.
To learn more creative ideas using the Core'dinations cardstock click -HERE.
More details:
The trees were cut out using the Christmas Cheer cricut cartridge, I used two different trees in various sizes.
I love using my cuttlebug machine and my embossing folders with the Core'dinations cardstock, because then I can sand the embossed image to show that second color (core color).
The embossing folders that I used are (showing in the photo below from left to right) D'vine Swirl, Swiss Dots (for the star and second tree) Holly Ribbons, and Cindy Loo, there was a small square in one of the large cuttlebug folders that I placed the tree in to emboss it. After sanding I inked all the edges of the trees and star.
Thank you Cor'dinations for donating your lovely cardstock to Fantabulous Cricut design team members!

Stars and Swirls Box -using Winter Frolic

I love to create 3-D projects and small boxes are perfect for a yummy little treat! Even thou I used the Winter Frolic cartridge, this box could be uses for any many different occasions. This is a super easy project. I used my design studio to weld the stars and swirls together, it is quite easy to create, however, I do have a cut file at the end of this post if you would like to grab it.

For details about this project please visit Everyday Cricut -HERE.

I'm so glad you came to visit today.

If you download this file, please leave me a comment on this post, it really makes my day great! Thank you. :)

Sweet Treats Cake -Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

October celebrates National Bake and Decorate month and Fantabulous Cricut is celebrating with a yummy challenge.

The challenge: create a project that has something to do with baking, or if you have the Cricut Cake use it to make something delicious.

I decorated a cake using the Sweet Treats cricut cartridge, so delicious.

I used design studio to get the right sizing that I wanted to cut for my card. The cake is approx. 3" tall and the cake stand is approx. 1 3/4" tall, cutting each twice, the first was glued directly on my card and the second was pop up off my card. The scallop layers were cut once, then using a white ink pad I lightly dragged it over the scallop edges.

I used tiny Prima flowers to decorate my cake.
