STAMPtember - Day One - Coffee and Books

HAPPY STAMPTEMBER!!!!

I started planning my projects for this month in June.  I knew that I wanted to kick off the month with a card using stamps from one of my favorite companies (Unity) and use my favorite color (PURPLE) and just start creating and see what happened.

I like the idea of the coffee background being the wallpaper.  I wouldn't mind a wall in one room like that.  She's got her coffee, her books, her loungewear that's supposed to look like Barefoot Dreams, I love it.  It was super fun to make.

**ANYTHING GOES** New Challenge with The Creative Crafters!!

STAMPtember - Day Five - Coffee: A Liquid Hug

Happy Tuesday!  I hope everyone is recovered from their holiday weekend, I myself haven't felt that great the last few days but it did NOT stop me from shopping online this weekend. #supportsmallbusiness

I've got a coffee-themed mini slimline card for you today.  This one I used a smaller stamp to let the patterned paper kind of shine.  Love how it turned out.  Also, I will need massive amounts of caffeine to get me through the rest of this week!!

STAMPtember - Day Twenty-Six - Can't. Stop. Coffee.

I'm all about the anniversaries lately, I swear.  Fifteen years ago today, the final season of Gilmore Girls premiered.  I remember being so apprehensive about it because Amy was gone as showrunner (it didn't fare Dawson's Creek very well!) and season six hadn't ended well, and I was concerned about where all the turmoil with the WB/UPN/CW was going to affect things.  All in all, season seven wound up being pretty good, if you think about all the obstacles.  Anyways, enough reminiscing.  Here's my card.  I loooooove Unity Stamps because they have so many images that I consider Lorelais!

Happy July!  It's the first so it's time for a new challenge over at Love To Scrap Challenge Blog and our theme this month is Anything Goes!!  I don't know about where you live, but here in Michigan, we're having way, way way above average HEAT!  We've already hit our usual amount of 90 degree days for JULY in JUNE, so I can only imagine what July and August will be like.  Ugh.  I wanted to make a pool themed card, but I used printed faux leather for the "water" because doesn't this girl look like she'd have some fancy pool with a printed bottom?  I love it.
