Ja nyt sitten pääsen intoilemaan vähän! Avomieheni (J tästä eteenpäin..) teki kellarinoven uutta kellaria varten! Tämä on yksi syistä miksi rakastan häntä niin valtavasti. Hän ei ole koskaan liian "aikuinen" leikkiäkseen kanssani.. Minulle jäi taas mukavin osuus eli osien kokoaminen ja maalaaminen. Ihanaa!

And finally we get to the part I'm most excited about! He ( J from now on..) made a cellar door for the new cellar. This is one of the reasons why I love him so. He's never too grown up to play with me.. I got to do the best part of the job. Assembling and painting the whole thing. I love it!

Is nothing ever enough?

Niinpä. Sain tässä jonkun aikaa sitten synttärilahjaksi tämän aivan ihanan kellarikerroksen. Eräänlainen ahneus tässä hommassa iskee, se on myönnettävä. Välillä yllätän itseni haaveilemasta uusistakin taloista, vaikka tilaa on hädin tuskin tällekään. Puhumattakaan siitä että alkuperäinen olisi edes lähellä valmista. Jää nähtäväksi mitä tuonne kellariin loppujen lopuksi tulee. Hillopurkkeja ja jotain synkkää? Olen puuhaillut myös muuta roinaa nukkekotiin, sekä isompia nukkeja. Täytyy tehdä niistä pikapuoliin postaus erikseen.

Yeah. This basement is a birthday gift given to me some time ago. There is some kind of greediness evident in this miniature business of mine, I must admit. Sometimes I even find myself dreaming of NEW houses. And believe me, there's barely enough space for this one, not to mention finishing it first. Well, it is to be seen what I come up with this new beautiful part of the house. Jam jars and something gloomy, perhaps? I have done some other things for the house too, and some bigger dolls, but I will do a separate post about those some time soon..

I Want You To Meet Someone..

Haluan esitellä erään, joka on jo vähän aikaa pyörinyt nurkissa, muttei ole suostunut kuvattavaksi.. Mikä saa nämä pienet oliot pelkäämään kameraa niin kovin? Hän asuu talossa, piileksii pienessä paperirasiassa, ja kaipailee kavereita taloon. Tein otuksen piippurassista, silmät mustista askarteluheteistä ja sormet villalangasta.  Paperirasia on tulostettu jostain päin nettiä ja taiteltu kasaan. En hennoisi antaa otuksen elää yksinäisenä Rotting Roofissa, joten kavereita on tehtävä pikimmiten.. En tiedä kaverin nimeä enkä lajia, tokko saan koskaan tietääkään? Täytyy toivoa että taloon muuttaa joku eläin-asiantuntija.

I want you to meet someone who's been crawling in the shadows of the house for a while, making it impossible to take a picture of him.. What makes these small beings so afraid of the camera? He/she/it lives in the house, hides in a small paper box and hopes to have some friends in the house. I made this one out of  pipe-cleaner, eyes are black stamen, and fingers are yarn. The paper box is a print which I glued together. I don't wan't him to be lonely, so I have to make buddies for him.. I don't know his name or species, maybe I'll never know? Hopefully some kind of an animal expert is going to rent a room here..

This has been keeping me busy..

Pakko sanoa että siskollani on hieman jännä huumorintaju.. Hän nimittäin neuloi luuranko-ukkelille pipon ja kaulaliinan, ja kaikista maailman väreistä valitsi vaaleanpunaisen.. Söpöltähän tuo tietysti näyttää, mutta ukkelin onneksi vetimet on ehkä vähän turhan isot hänelle. Ehkä joku muista tulevista asukkaista ei ole niin kranttu? Sillä aivan mielettömän hienothan nuo on! Ja tulevat todella tarpeeseen kun pakkanen lähentelee kolmeakymmentä..

And last but not least, my sister has a wicked sense of humor.. =D

She made a scarf and a woolly hat for the skeleton.. And for some diabolical reason, they are pink of all the colors of the world.. But he's kind of cute though.. And probably he's very glad that these are a bit too big for him. Maybe one of the other future residents is not that picky? Because pink or not, these are such a lovely pieces of clothing! And extra clothing is really needed now, it's nearly -30°C where I live..

And besides clothing, there are some new followers warming my heart! WELCOME!

Verho päreiksi - A Curtain Destroyed

Minimateriaalia voi löytää mistä vain.. Ulkolaudoitus syntyykin siis "vanhasta" puulaskosverhosta joka ei käynyt enää nykyisen asunnon ikkunoihin. Sattuipa sopivasti. Väristä en ole vielä varma, että jätänkö noin vai maalaanko tummemmaksi. Sain myös pihakiveyksen valmiiksi!


Apparently you can find minimaterial anywhere.. I destroyed an "old" wooden curtain and glued it to the wall. It didn't fit in any of the windows in our current apartment. How very convenient.. I'm not yet sure if I should leave it like that, or paint it darker. I also finished the paving! 

 Olohuoneen ikkuna on nyt valmis. Ehkä.


Living room window is now finished. Maybe.

Ja lopussa vielä joitain pikkutavaroita mitä olen tehnyt aiemmin. Pullot on helmistä ja korunosista, paketit olen liimaillut kasaan pahvista ja erinäisistä nettitulosteista ja pari cernit-etanaakin kuvissa lymyää. Päivänvarjo on rautalangan ympärille rytätty paperinen lasinalunen. Ylemmässä kuvassa komeilee tuoli-räpellys jonka ajattelin tehdä ruokasaliin kertaa kuusi. Enpä tehnyt, kun tuostakin tuli ihan vino vänkyrä. Pitää ehkä yrittää uusiksi joskus myöhemmin..


And for last, here's some stuff I have made earlier. Bottles are made of beads and parts of jewellery, parcels are cardboard and prints from internet and there's a couple cernit-snails lurking on the table also.
The parasol is a paper coaster crunched around twisted metal wire. Here's also the sort-of-a chair I was supposed to do six pieces for the dining room. I didn't, because this one came out all wrong. Maybe I'll try again later.

Ei taas.. - Oh, not again..

Tätä taas.. Itseasiassa, kirjoitan tätä vältelläkseni tuon kiveyksen tekemistä.. Tuon reiän päälle tulee kaivo. Kyllä. Kaivo katolle.. Kaikella on tarkoituksensa..

This stuff again.. Actually, me writing this here now, means that I'm trying to avoid doing that paving.. There's going to be a well over that hole there. Yes. A well on the roof.. Everything has its purpose..

Can You guess who's going to rent this room?

Tällaista olen touhunnut ennen pihan kiveämistä.. Sain pariin huoneeseen listat ja tapetit, ja kirjastohuone on itseasiassa ensimmäinen oikeasti valmis huone. Siis sillä tavalla valmis, että sitä pääsee sisustamaan.  Haluan tuonne tapetoimattomalle seinälle sellaisen valtavan kirjahyllyn.. Ja kirjoituspöytäkin sinne pitäisi askarrella. Ja porraskäytävään menevään oveen tulee ehkä helmiverhot.

This is what I've been doing before the paving.. I did some wallpapering and glued some lists (please, tell me, is that the right word for the wooden things that go round the room??). The library room is actually the first really finished room. Meaning, that I can decorate it.. I want a huge book shelf on the wall which is without the wallpaper. And a writing desk has to be made. And the door leading to the hallway will have a bead curtain. Maybe.

 It makes a beautiful flower pot.
