I have made a CAS style and let the image do all the talking.
I used an MFT Blueprint 14 die for the image mat and an MFT Dispersed Dots Die for the background panel. The image was coloured with my Letraset Promarkers.

Design Team
I used this great image and sentiment from our sponsor Crackerbox Palace.

For my project, I used this funny "Worm On Hook" provided by our sponsor. Added some real shells.

I used the funny fisherman, with the funny worm and Nibbles the fish, and the Give a Man a fish sentiment. I've added some real twine for the fishing line and some fish charms.

Hi! I used the funny digi Smiley. This fish is great and handsome in his fishbowl.

This yummy 'Cake' image had me thinking of summertime stawberry shortcake!
Check out my website for details on construction...

For this week reminder, I made a cupcake house. I hope all of you can smell the delicious cinnamon roll that is waiting for me inside the house. All my craft room smell like heaven :o)
To embellish my cupcake house I used the lovely Cookn mouse from our sponsor Robyn`s Fetish. I colored the mouse with Spectrum Noir Pens and and a beautiful ginghan ribbon for a final touch.

Kemly - has a blackout but will be along as soon as she can.

This week I decided that cooking bookmarks would be good, I always want to keep the page on more than one recipe so I can go back to them quickly.
I cut some tags with a Bigz Tim Holtz tag die in brown bazzil card and in patterned paper and stuck them together. Each one has ribbon along the bottom, and tied in the top.
First tag features The Cook, who is cooking in her slippers. I added cupcake and gingham ribbons, both from Crafty Ribbons.
The next tag features Cookn Mouse, again with cupcake and gingham ribbons from Crafty Ribbons.
This tag features My Little Cook, with macaroon and gingham ribbons.

Final bookmark featuring Cake, and Everything Stops for Tea ribbon.
They all fit neatly into the recipe scrapbook which I made last week, and have now completed.

Kemly joined us a little bit later due to a blackout in her area.

My mother taught me to cook. This project remind me all the secrets and recipes I learned from her.
I used  the digis "The Cook" and "Cake" provided by our sponsor Robyn´s Fetish.

Now we have some inspiration to get you started.

First of all, as usual, our talented Guest Designers.

Bunny Hoyle
Hey, y’all. What an honor it is to be chosen as a Guest Designer this week. I live in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.U.S.A. I’m married to my best friend, have children, grandchildren and the best pet in the world. His name is Woolfie the Bear. He’s a stuffed teddy bear and he knows he’s not real. I’ve been making cards for a few years. My motto is: It’s only paper. If it ticks you off, throw it in the recycle bin. When you get a chance, please stop by my blog and have a look. http://bunnyscards1.blogspot.com

Bunny used:
Robyn's Fetish - The Cook image,
Copics- C1, 3 & 5, E000, 01, 41, 42, 50, 53 & 55
Y15 & 17, RV000, 02 & 04, R20, T0, BG0000
Colorbox- Razzberry
Paper- Bo Bunny, Bazzill-Blackbird and a scrap flower paper
Nellie’s Choice Adhesive Stones

Spellbinder’s Nestabilities- A2 Fancy Ribbon Threader

We want to give a big welcome to our new 4 challenge Guest team member who joins us for the first time today and she is:

Kemly SC

My project is a recipe book to keep those family recipes we all love.
I used this adorable digi "Cookn mouse" provided by our generous sponsor Robyn`s Fetish.
I invite all of you to join this lovely challenge.

Welcome to the team Kemly, I hope you have fun with us, and I love your first project!

Then the wonderful Design Team.

For my cooking project I made a cutting board mini album or recipe book. I used this lovely digi from our sponsor Robyn's Fetish - The Cook. To color the digi I used Spectrum Noir and a little bit of Prismacolor pencils. Of course I added some lovely ribbons at the top of the cutting board.

Cindy
'My Little Cook' is the name of this cutie I used in these two card projects. I coloured both with SU! markers on Copic paper.  I guess with summer being here, I'm in a strawberry mood, so the ribbons reflect that :)  Check out my blog for details...

I made this little scene, coloured it with Promarkers - then decided this morning to make a recipe scrapbook!
So I got the Bind it All out and found some covers I have had ages, and some freebie papers and got to work. I used My Little Cook and Cookn'mouse from Robyn's Fetish on the front cover, and lots of gingham ribbons from Crafty Ribbons which I tied to the rings. I made the mistake of glazing the front - it changed the colours of the papers - see my blog for more details - and what it should look like!

Inside there are plain pages in orange and a few in pale blue which I am adding strips of the gingham paper to, and there are 4 teal pocket pages. This one is decorated with Cake from Robyn's Fetish repeated twice and coloured with Promarkers.

-will be here tomorrow, she is working too hard!

Thank you Cazzy! Well....It's just gone one in the morning so I guess it's tomorrow!  And here's my card. I've used 'My Little Cook' as well, but used her the other way round, coloured her with Promarkers and of course done a bit of 3D-ing. All the papers I've used are from Cardmaking/Quick Cards magazines and the bunny-cup-cake ribbon I won from Crafty Ribbons one Easter. I was thinking of putting a Carrot Cake Recipe inside. (haven't done it yet!) I've also dolloped stickles glitter glue almost everywhere! The inside font is called Violety Crumble. Sounds yummy!
Just thought I'd show you this one too, an oldie from the past showing the same image. I've almost coloured her the same!

Challenge #15.- The Quirky Silk Road.- Reminder

Hi Quirky friends!!! It´s Monica here, to remind you about our Quirky Challenge.

The Quirky Silk Road

It´s a challenge where any project is allowed, but Oriental theme. Just show us the treasures and wisdom of Orient cultures: China, Japan, India, Korea, etc..

This challenge is sponsored by:

The prizes for this challenge are:

1st place everything in this photo (stamps, ribbon, buttons) from That Craft Place

2nd place: 3 images from Squigglefly
3rd place: 2 images from The East Wind

And now the Design Team:
Lyn

Remember last weeks creation? I'd run out of all my ice grey Promarkers and didn't have enough colour to 3D her. Well here she is again, but this time finished! I've 3D-ed her hair (My Promarkers arrived!!) and changed the colour of her book, (here's about five layers in all) and added a little tag, loads of stickles glitter and a few peel-offs, coins and fans, which I really think do make a difference.

My second card will be along in a little while...it's a cute cat!!
And here it is!! (added Tues 29th July)

This time I used Mewshu Pork cat from Squigglefly
I've also added one of their sentiments too.I've 3D-ed the little kitten and added him to papers from a crafting magazine. (Link to freebie download on my blog) The peel-offs look like brads. I fixed them to paper I'd coloured with a matching Promarker colour and used silicone glue to add to the card so they pop out a little.

Cindy

Isn't this little guy adorable?  The background is made of a napkin and the kitty image is called Tuxedo Sleeping Cat by Unky.

 Monica

Once I had promised Unky, The East Wind owner and designer, that I will make one of her lovely digis in a vinyl project. Well, here it is.

For this project I used this stunning digi "Kigsen mon amour Korean hanbok". It wasn`t easy to "weed" (clean vinyl process) because all the lovely digis details. I spend almost 3 hours weeding, but I love how it turned out. It's height is 7 inches and I applied it to a Chinese dish I bought on Costa Rica Chinatown.

For my second project, I made a shaped card using the digi "China characters: Beautiful" provided by our sponsor Squigglefly. To embellish the card I made an origami kimono doll.
You can find a tutorial to make the origami doll here.

Cazzy

For my first reminder card I used Lucy Loo Fire Dancer from The East Wind. I printed her in two sizes and this was the largest, she is still very intricate to colour and I think she needs to be bigger still!
I coloured her with Promarkers, added a bit of Spica pen to the flames for sparkle then rough cut her out to go on the dark background. The paper is more (other side of red double sided) Papermania, and so are the stickers.

For this masculine birthday card I used Junk Boat from Squigglefly with Chinese Happy Birthday from Squigglefly also. Both are coloured with Promarkers and I added a few waves with a white Prismacolor pencil.
I die cut the Junk Boat after marking the part that came outside the die which I cut around manually afterwards.
Paper is Papermania, and it has a slightly metallic sheen. The sentiment is not straight but the Affixit tape is so instantly permanent that I daren't try and peel it off to straighten it! I added a Chinese coin charm, might be Woodware.
