DESIGN TEAM

MYRIAM

For my card and tags I used Christmas stamps #2 from our sponsor Limited Runs Stamps

Lyn

Here's my card for this week, sorry it's a bit late!(even later than Cazzy!!)  I've used 'Make-it-Snappy--Skelekinz-Merry-Christmas' I've coloured her (or him) with Promarkers, added, buttons, ribbon, loads of stickles glitter, ribbon, a paper clip (because it was red) and a tiny pom-pom. The little Skelekinz has been 3D-ed with about four layers.

I've added some oldies too, just in case I didn't get done in time! (you can add an oldie as long as we haven't seen it or it's no older than the last challenge!) This one's  BearCane from Bugaboo! And below this little cute Santa and the Snowman are from Limited Runs

Hello every one, happy Sunday!!! For my today´s project I made a frame using the Christmas-Brat-Boy-Elf from BugabooStamps. I painted it using the Spectrum Noir alcohol makers.

And this is my second one, a gift bag using the Winter May digi from Limited Runs

I love Stella!!!! And as soon as I saw this Santa Died digi, it made think of some of my friends, that always said that they are good lol
This funny image was provided by our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.

Hi everyone! Christmas is my favorite season! Love it the Sunbonnet! I made my card with a adorable Fancy Sunbonnet of our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.
She looks beautiful with the littles winter birds.

CAZZY
Sneaking in late again, and hoping I am forgiven because I have 4 more cards to show you!
The first is made with one of the Limited Runs cupcakes - this one is Trees on a Cupcake, nice and simple and just a small piece of Crafty Ribbons exclusive ribbon on this one.

This is so cute, a little dog who wants to be a reindeer from Bugaboo and he is called Puppy - enough reindeer. The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.

Another Stella card, I hope someone finds this as amusing as I do! The image and sentiment is from Bugaboo and is called Stella - Merry Christmas not Happy Holidays.
It is an 8"x 8" card, and I thought the Keep Calm ribbon, which is another Crafty Ribbons exclusive, was just perfect with this sentiment.

You might recognise this cupcake from the Limited Runs badge, it is called Snowman on a Cupcake! I used lots of ribbons from Crafty Ribbons on this one, can you see the three different Christmas ribbons here? I added some Stickles glitter glue and it is still wet!

We're looking forward to seeing all your fabulous Christmas Creations!

Christmas In July!

 Our fantastic sponsors are:-

Here are some  fabulous makes from the Quirky Crafts Design Team: first from our Guest Designer (and winner of some of our past Challenges) ...hope they give you some insnowration!

A big welcome to Gabriela - our new 2 month Guest Designer

Card in the form of snowflakes decorated beautifully with a pretty girl "
Ava Christmas - sitter " from our sponsor Bugaboo.

Design Team

For this weeks project, I made a petal box and I used Winter Circle Sentiments digi
from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.

For this weeks project, I chose the beautiful Noelle, provided by our generous sponsor Limited Runs. I added little adhesive stones to add all the light and shine that I love from Christmas time.

For my card this week I've used this cutie from Bugaboo, called Kidzreindeer She's been 3D-ed and printed straight onto the snowy background, which I've used loads of times, along with the sentiment. The papers were freebies from a crafty magazine, which luckily hadn't been packed away with all my stash! And of course, I managed to find enough Promarkers to colour her in! It's all been layered on to some shinny silver card, with a few silver peel-offs and loads of glitter!

I've also been a bit naughty and added two golden oldies, also from Bugaboo. You can add projects, which are older than the challenge, as long as we haven't seen them, and you've made them within the last ten days!

Hi everyone! I love the Christmas! To this challenge I made this card with the lovely Winter Penguin
to our sponsor Limited Runs.

The little penguin is playing in the snow. He loves the Chrismas also.

Cazzy will be here later... Here I am!
Cazzy
Oh I'm late, it is 1.00 am Monday morning (there was a good reason, which I will explain on my blog) and I really need my bed, but devotion to duty..... I think this Stella Note to Santa  from Bugaboo is just too funny! I've added two different Christmas ribbons from Crafty Ribbons (hey Ali - how about Bah Humbug ribbon?).

I can't resist Limited Runs cupcakes, maybe because I can't eat the real thing! This one is from a set of two called Penguin Set Cupcake, one has a blank sign.    Again the Singing Penguin ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and is exclusive to them, perfect with the penguin on the cupcake I think!

Here's some more fabulous makes to get you in the mood and made those mojos work!
First a few from our Guest Designers

Jessi said "I used dies & punches to create a bit of a decorative swag under the image. The bottom layer is snowflakes stamped & embossed on diecut vellum, and then I've added punched branches. The centrepiece is a big loopy twine bow sewn into place with some bells to finish off. "

And some from our Designers....
XXX

Stichy Bear gave me Arctic Fox to play with and I know my mom will love this one!  This little guy cried out for an elegant home and so that's what she got!  More details of how he come together is on my blog...

I was going to show you another bunny card, but he hopped off before I could take his picture! Instead I've used 'Four Calling Birds' coloured them in a mixture of computer colours and Promarkers and then added punched out Holly and berries as well as some punched out and embossed leaves. I've used a corner punch to round off the corners and a peel off, which is a die cut of sorts, saying Happy Christmas and covered it with stickles glitter glue. The holly paper was a freebie from a magazine.

Inside I've used a  die-cut and added a stamped Happy Christmas message. And to make the lip in the money pocket I used a punch. Papers are from my stash.

Santa is getting ready for Christmas!!!!!
For this project, I made a window shadow box card, with this lovely "Sweet Santa" digi provided by our sponsor, Stichy Bear.
All the card was cut with a cutting file (as a die cut) and this cute Santa was colored with Spectrum Noir pens.
Here a closer look of the Sweet Santa.

Cazzy
I used Ike's Art Cracka Cat on this card, coloured with Promarkers, and the panels and paper are all die cut, I added some die cut holly leaves and berries too. It seems I have a cat thing goin on right now! Ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.

Actually this is  just one of 4 variations I am making, I will add the rest later - I ran out of time!

Here we go, cat is now Siamese!

This cat was supposed to be a tabby, not sure it worked!

Black and white cat?

Please add a link to your blog post (not your blog) or your online photo gallery, SCS etc. To enter the challenge link your project HERE or scroll down to the InLinks button below. That's it! Get those snowflake  and holly punches out! And come and join in!

Jessi

Jessi said: "I've included both  the full & closeup pictures of my first card, using Bunny in Stocking. The stocking has red & white Fun Flock to make it extra soft & fuzzy :)"

Shell used Sweet Santa on her lovely traditional card, and lots of die cuts. Here are the dies Shell used:
*Spellbinder die - Santa image
*La La Land Craft -Banner die
*Memory Box - Holly & Leaves die

and a few more by our design team...

MONICA

For my Christmas project, I used this gorgeous digi Star of The Bethlehem provided by our generous sponsor Stichy Bear Stamps. I used a cut file for the card and for Bethlehem´s Star. I colored the digi with Spectrum Noir pens and use liquid pearls for Mary`s tunic border.

This how this card looks when is ligthed.

CINDY
I used the Christmas Stocking Doodle  image for my two projects this week.

My first one uses washi tapes, ribbon and paper strips as the background to make a quick and simple background.
My second card is following a sketch and mixing elements.
Check out my blog for more details on construction!

Cazzy

As soon as I saw Ike's Art Bauble Cat I thought of the idea of making the bauble cat into a bauble too, but my attempt at "lights" for shine have failed miserably and look like dirty patches that I forgot to colour. I used Spellbinders dies to cut the paper panel, bauble and poinsettia and a Martha Stewart punch to make the pine branch. Papers are some old DCWV ones, and the ribbon is from Crafty RibbonsI added a few flat back pearls to the centre of the poinsettia. The bauble and cat are coloured with Promarkers and I added some sparkly Mod Podge over the top. I am already working on another version, this time a Siamese cat!

Inside I die cut two panels from the paper and a smaller bauble in white to write on.

Update: I told you I wasn't happy with my card, so here is one I am very happy to show you just finished a day later.
Same as the first card except I used a different bauble die, kept it all one colour and two shades of blue. This time I made the cat Siamese. I added one extra die cut layer in gold too.

Lyn
Here's my Christmas Card for the challenge. I've used Bunny in Stocking from Delicious Doodles. Isn't he just the cutest bunny ever!?! I've used a Christmas collection paper pack by Kate Knight. Printed out bunny over some of these papers so his stocking is paper pieced, then 3D-ed his head and paws and coloured with Promarkers and fixed him onto a diecut by Darice. There's also punched out silver snowflakes with gems, a crinkly ribbon over a ric rac ribbon, plus a stocking charm and loads of glitter!
Inside I've used a Spellbinder die cuts and added the bunny printed from the bits I had over!

Come and join in! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
