This is one of my most recent finishes. It is a tall skinny work.
There are often so many spaces that work for a piece
like this.
They also are perfect for a wall arrangement with other items.
Yes, it is ice dyed.
it is 10 1/2 inches by 42 inches and has a slat for hanging.
$595
My work is designed to hang anywhere as ART and not to match the sofa.
It is OK if it does match the sofa!!!!
GOOD VIBRATIONS
This is one of my Ice Tapestries that will be featured in my solo show. All work in the show is for sale and they are all one of a kind and can not be reproduced.
One of these works of art can set the tone for a room or finish a room where something is needed to complete it. The colorations in my work are selected so they are at home in any style or color scheme.
Of course they are great over a sofa, in a dining room, in a family or great room, stair well or any other place that can be completed with a piece of gorgeous art.
You also will find they are welcoming in a business reception area as well as a board room or private office space.
I hope I have given you some ideas so when you see the work you can find an appropriate piece for your surroundings.
The artists reception is from 12:30 to 2 pm March 16th and closes April 27th. The City Hall (Municipal Building) is at 110 SE Watula Avenue in Ocala. If you are travelling in Florida Ocala is on the way to everywhere and City Hall is just a short distance off of Hwy I 75.
I am so excited to be showing my work in this awesome space that showcases it as the art it is.
I hope you are able to see the show and find some art that calls your name and that will enrich your life.
The title “Queen Of Ice” has been bestowed on me for my own personal signature style.
From time to time I rerun one of my most popular blog posts. This one was one of the top ten in the almost 10 years I have been blogging.
This is the largest and most exciting Ice Tapestry I have created for my solo show.
It is 43 x 89 inches.
My ice dyed compositions use my own methods I have created by trial and error. Each one is different.
These are ART ice dyes, not production ice dyes.
I doubt you can see the entire piece at once on your screen so I will add a smaller version here:
I hope you can see it all here, even though you get to see a lot more detail on the larger version.
When pieces get this long it is a challenge to photograph them. So you will have to visit my show to really appreciate this and also all the others.
I plan on showing it in my 2018 show in Florida in March and April. I will share details about the show soon.
