We've just spent a rather lovely week in Devon, with lots of walking and of course at least two forages to quilt shops! In the autumn my craft class is making a sewing bag and I wanted to make mine out of Tilda fabric so I visited Cowslip Workshops, actually in Cornwall and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, which I knew had an excellent selection of Tilda!
I had a couple of these fabrics already so Im pleased with how well they sit with the ones I already had. I also bought myself some fabric to make a pair of summer trousers - I just need to find a pattern and of course the time to make them!
While away I put some more stitches into my little sheep cross stitch.
The next part of the Oceans SAL came out yesterday and it's gorgeous I really can't wait to start on it but first I have a pile of ironing and the spare room to organise for guests that are arriving tomorrow!
Hopefully, the ironing and tidying up doesn’t take too long to you can do some stitching on your oceans project before your guests arrive! The sheep is cute! Devon sounds like a lovely place to visit. Pretty souvenirs from the quilt shop too! Gail at the cozy quilter.
ReplyDeleteTilda fabrics are always a very good idea. A sewing bag in those pretty fabrics will be lovely. How wonderful to enjoy a week in Devon walking........and foraging in quilt shops. Have a lovely week with your guests.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics, I love the colours and patterns.
