Star Block and Flower Block

 This block is a star block for the Turning Twenty Block of the Month

This block is for a quilt called Flower Power.  It is a kit from Craftsy.  Have it all cut out (whew!!!) and now to make lots of Half-Square triangles!

Maynard and Jan's latest blocks

 

Here is Maynard's latest -----a star pattern. IMHO, he is doing a great job with those points!  He chose beautiful colors, too.

My block is a Scrap Twist block from a pattern by Betty Hammock.  This has a partial seam in it which is much easier than I thought it would be!  I like the woven look of this block.

So it goes in our quilting world---always something new to learn!
