Rust dyeing fabric, TUTORIAL - pouches, book cover

Kaksi kankaista on ruostevärjättyä ja kolmas kangas on tavallista tilkkukangasta.
Two of the fabrics are rust dyed and the one is normal quilting fabric.

Ruostevärjäys:  

1) Kastele kangas/suikaleita vesi-etikka liuokseen 1 : 1. (Voi laittaa myös merisuolaa liuokseen.)

2) Kierrä, taittele,viikkaa, rullaa kangas ruosteisten esineiden ympärille tai sekaan.

3) Laita muovipussihauteeseen ja odota pari vuorokautta. Jatka haudutusta jos et ole tyytyväinen tulokseen, suihkuta vedellä ja hauduta lisää.

4) Käsipese kangas suolavedessä: n. 1-2 tl   2-3 l vettä. Suola pysäyttää prosessin. 

5) Konepesu 60 astetta. Käytä pesuainetta.

6) Kuivata ja silitä.
