Four weeks,
four flowers more!
I planned to use this stone printed fabric as a background...
... but when I look these photos...
I'm not sure about that anymore.
They are looking quite dull!!!!Hm... I must think again...
Anyway -
it was fun to show you
my newest flowers;)

Hi, I like yout flowers and I like the stone printed fabric. Like flowers in the city. Maybe the stone printed fabric all around the flowers? But I do like option 2 too.
Happy stitching, Marion.
Nice fabric, I like option 1. I'm curious what you will deside.
I like the small diamond shapes. Your flowers are not dull at all, they have a very gentle touch - beautiful
I just noticed that you're from Finland. I will be going on holidays to Finland next week, we will be staying in Orivesie. Any nice quiltshops/events around??
Cheers,
Tineke
Lovely flowers.
Lovely flowers, and I love the fabrics of the flowers and the background fabric. I like the diamond shape better. There more delicate, just as the flowers are.
Saskia
flowers look good
I like number 1. Very creative. I wouldn't have thought of that.
If you lay the flowers like on picture one, I like the backround fabric, this way it is not so dominating.
Maybe you would prefer green as a backround for flowers? Just lay out different backrounds and that way you can see what you like best.

I love the fabric, maybe you need to get used to it.
Let it be for a while, look at it and maybe in a few days, you like it too.
Hugs Chrissie
I really like the stone fabric, but next to the soft flowers it might be best to use it as in option 1-- in smaller bits. I think that would look really lovely.
Satu.. have been catching up on your work... and I so love what your are working on.. everything.. lovely colours and fabrics.. everything is so beautiful!!
Your flowers are very pretty and the stone fabric is a great choice. I like both your options so aren't much help really!!
The stone fabric is wonderfully different and I like it best with layout #1. Can't wait to see more!!
I like the diamond shape the best if you are to use the stone fabric.
If you would like the quilt to sparkle more I would choose a light background and go for layout option 2.
I love the flowers, but to tell you the truth, I don't really like the stone print as background. It somehow takes away the softness of the flowers.
But if you take option 1 for the layout, I don't think it dominates that much and that way it does look pretty!
Look forward to see what you will be doing!
