Tubin' Duck!

Hey Everybody!  Today is my design team day here and I am so glad you are here to join us!  We have some great digis for you and I hope you like the card I have created for you to enjoy today :)  I used this awesome digi 7006 Floating and I think this duck is so stinkin' adorable.  It cracks me up because his face almost looks upset but I like to think it looks that way just  because he's sooooo relaxed.  Please stop on over at my blog if you are looking for any more information!

Happy Birthday ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a Birthday Card featuring the adorable Birthday Girl (15402).

Our Birthday Girl was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut out.  I wanted to add a little extra dimension to my design so I used my Nestabilities Circle Die to cut out some balloons, stamped the sentiment from products in my stash and set them on the side.  Since I used the Digital version of the stamp I printed 2 copies.  The second copy was cut down to size, and distressed along the bottom with Distress Inks.  Next step was to attach my balloons, sew on some twine for the strings, and then attach the Birthday Girl.

As stated above, I used the Digital version of the Birthday Girl, however, she is also available as unmounted Natural Red Rubber.

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Marleen DT

Hello everyone..

I have exciting news to share today...

A while back, an american company called QKR stampede had a DT call. They sent an invite around Facebook for all to come and try out. I pressed "maybe" on the even as I was quite blocked up with DT work as it was, and soon forgot all about it. Now I had already been in looking at their store, blog ect and already fallen in love with the images, it was mearly a matter of the extra time...

BUT litlle did I know, till a while later, Im sitting sortting e-mails, when a mail catches my eyes..
It was from Maribeth from QKR stampede saying she had seen my "maybe", loved my work, and was there any chance I would concider to be part of her DT...
Well you tell ME how could I possible say no..

So here I go... My very first DT project for QKR stampede
Im proud to be part of the team, and hope you like what I have made using this fab digi.

Its a simple card. The base card is cut using an X-cut die, as are the wooden paper. The image is printed, coloured with Promarkers and simply cut out. the greeting is a die cut, and I just added 2 brads to finish.

I love this little card, and it shows my style really well. Its simple, off center, and smothered in distress ink..

I hope you all like it, and THANK YOU for stopping by my blog, and for any comments left behind.
Huge Hugs, Marleen xxx

King of the Jungle

Created by Deb
See my Blog at Paper Crazy Lady

When I first spotted this not so ferocious-looking Lion image, I knew he was very special. I ordered him in a digital version, and that makes it so easy to customize his size to exactly fit your project. The sentiment can be found Here

This lion is printed in the original size onto X-Press It Blending Card. He was then colored with Copics E30, E31, E33, E34 and E35. His crown is done in Y26 and Y28, with a touch of Stickles in Star Dust. After I allowed the Copics to dry well, I moistened a piece of a washcloth with Blending Solution and dabbed gently to create fur. Gold, Buttermilk, Gold and Chocolate Spica pens put extra sparkle in his main. Frayed Burlap Distress Ink was used to sponge the edges of the white paper. Dots of gold Liquid Pearls add a little bling.

The card base is a 6" square, and is cut of Stardream Metallics. Bright Gold Stardream is used here for the photo frame. Spellbinders dies were used to cut the frame and flourish. The patterned paper is SEI.

Doesn't he look cute enough to snuggle?

Pear

Hello!  Kristie here today!
Today I'm showing you a card I made with
"Pear" (#3801) from QKR Stampede.
I stamped the image randomly on white cardstock with black ink and also stamped one image onto cardstock to be colored with FlexMarkers.
I cut down the strip and layered it onto green cardstock, and did the same with the single colored image.
I used some ribbon from my stash that I thought went well with the image.
I like how this card turned out and I think this would be a lovely card for just about any occasion.
I hope you have enjoyed my post today and will leave me a comment and come by again soon.
In the meantime, pop into the QKR Stampede online shop and see what images you might like to work with.
They offer unmounted red rubber as well as digital format stamps.

I had some good news that I'm now designer team member for the http://qkrstampede.blogspot.co.uk/  and only just started so here is my first card which I enjoyed making.

This one I choose digital stamp from Qkrstampede which I colour it in with promarker's.  I used embossing folder of dots for my background and colour it in with distress inks in blue and then I use mirror card and stamp picture out using spellbinder called label four on to blue ribbon across the card and I use tim holt sizzix of rosette and colour in with distress ink blue to match the card then I found stamp of bird look perfect to go with the bird house and put it on top of rosette and finally I use xcut shape tags saying for you with gem on it.

Come on in the Water's Fine ...

Good morning.  My name is Ruza and I am super excited to share my first Design Team project using this adorable QKR Stampede stamp.

This FUN stamp is called Floating Gator that I paired up with the Come on in sentiment.  Both images are available in rubber and digital format.  I used the digital images for my card.

Copic Markers
G82, G03 & G94 for the Gator, B02 for the Gator Eyes
N0, N2, N3 & N5 for the Inner Tube
R29, R39 & B95 for the Patches

I created a mask of the Floating Gator and applied various Tim Holtz Distress Inks to create the water.  I used a Spica Clear Pen on the Gator in the shaded areas to add a bit of additional dimension.  However, I don't think you can see it in this picture.  I looks pretty awesome in person. ;o)

I brought the sentiment into Microsoft Word, used the picture tools to add a small frame around the sentiment to get the 3D look, and then used 3D foam tape to attach the sentiment.

I will be showcasing QKR Stampede stamps on my blog, Ruza's Craft Corner, every Tuesday.  I hope you will stop by to check them out.

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Little Miss Liberty

Happy 4th of July!
I know I'm a few days early, but I wanted to wish you a happy
Independance Day while I had the chance.

"Liberty Balloon Holder" (#19601) and "Firecracker Balloon" (#9401)
can be ordered through either QKR Stampede or Eureka! Stamps.
These companies are sister companies along with Biblical Impressions.

These balloons and holders are in both the QKR and Eureka! shops, along with a huge variety of other holders and balloons.
I love working with these stamps! The images are versatile and interchangable.
I stamped the Liberty Balloon Holder onto white card stock. Then I stamped another and fussy cut it to make a mask. I used removable adhesive to put it onto the card over the stamped image, then used water color crayons to color the sky and land.
Once I removed the mask, I colored the Liberty Balloon Holder.
The Firecracker Balloon was stamped onto white card stock and colored, then cut out and adhered to the card. I used a brown Zig pen to draw the string from the balloon.

I think she turned out quite cute, what do you think?
Leave me a comment and tell me what you are doing to celebrate Independance Day.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you are having a wonderful day!
And have a happy and safe 4th!

Love Bear birthday card

Hello! Today I have a cute birthday card to show you.
I made this with 2 images from QKR Stampede.
"Love Bear" (#10604)
"Happy Birthday" (#22803)
I colored the "Love Bear" with FlexMarkers and added some Glossy Accents to the balloons.
I distressed the edges of the papers and put this card together pretty quickly.
This image can be used for a number of cards, birthday, get well, Valentine's day, just a simple hello.
Thanks for stopping by today, leave a comment if you would and come again soon.

And why not stop in to the QKR Stampede store and see what other versatile images they have to offer.

Pocket Card with Rose

Hello Crafters!
Today I have a pocket card to show you.
I like making different styles of cards and I love this pocket card.
It's simple to make. I used a piece of cardstock cut to 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" I also scored it at about 3 1/2" and folded that area forward to for the flap where the sentiment is. I did trim some of that flap off as I felt it was a bit too big for the card.
The stamps I used are
"Rose" (#17505)
"Life is Sweeter" (#9102)
Both from QKR Stampede
I used the "Rose" stamp in a couple ways.
First I stamped the entire image onto the lower corner of the card with VersaMark ink.
Then I used just some of the leaves to stamp the other lower corner
as well as the top of the pocket.
I made a card to slip inside the pocket.
I punched 2 circles, one slightly smaller than the other, layered them, folded them and adhered them to the top of the card.
I added a little embellishment from my stash.
You could easily add a flower or a brad like this, or punch a hole and add a bit of ribbon.
I hope this card shows you that stamps can be very versatile, you just need to use your imagination.   Use part of the stamp, use all of the stamp, use different kinds of ink for different effects and have fun.

I'm so glad you stopped by today.
Leave a comment if you would and come again soon!

Happy Birthday Ya Old Goat!

Hi All!
Kristie here and today I have a birthday card
that I made with 2 stamps from
"Old Goat" (#13206) and
"Happy Birthday" from the Happy Birthday set (#22803)
I thought this "Old Goat" was a pretty cute old guy, so I stamped him onto some white cardstock and colored him with my FlexMarkers.
I layered him onto some green cardstock and then onto some kraft cardstock that I stamped with
"Basket Weave" (#90407) from Biblical Impressions.
I stamped the "Happy Birthday" and the "Basket Weave" with
brown Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink.
I printed the inside sentiment on to green cardstock from my computer and layered it onto more kraft cardstock with the Basket Weave image.
I hope this card has given you a little chuckle and I hope you will stop by a couple other blogs and see the humorous cards my friends
Kristine and Roxie
have made that feature some more of our humorous stamps.
I also have another card posted on my blog that may give you a smile.
So stop by and be sure to leave some love in the comment sections of the blogs.  We always like to hear what you have to say.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you on our blogs!
Come again soon!

A Single Rose

Happy Wednesday!

I am so glad you stopped by today.
I have a simple but striking card to share with you today.

I made this card with Rose by QKR Stampede stamps.  The image is available in red rubber and digital.

The frame is a Spellbinders Die.  I embossed the white panel with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

The Rose image is colored with Copic Markers.
The Bling is Jelly Dots.

I left the sentiment off so that the card could be used for almost any reason...birthday, sympathy, wedding...or just because!  QKR Stampede stamps has any sentiment you might need!

Happy Stamping!

Flowering Vine

Hello blog friends!
Today I'm showing you a card that I made with 2 stamps from
"Flowering Vine" (#19704)
and
"Life is Good" (#16307)
I stamped the Flowering Vine onto white cardstock and colored it with FlexMarkers, layered it onto some blue polka dotted cardstock and adhered it to my card base.
This is when I ran into the question of the sentiment.
I wanted the vine to run up the card, because these are Morning Glories and the ones that we had in my yard when I was a kid, grew up the fence.
But once I added the sentiment I started to think the card looked better as a horizontal card. I guess it could be used as either.
What do you think? Leave me a comment and let me know which way you would use this card. Vertical or horizontal?
Thanks for stopping by today, come again soon.
