while writing the post for yesterday, i was thinking i should do a sample page, then when i got to the studio and saw how much work there was to do, i needed to do something fun (instead), so i pulled out an envelope to demonstrate the way i would play around with pencil to decide which styles of letters look best together. i was going to go over the pencil in marker, but i liked the pencil. as luck would have it, they just issued a stamp with gregory peck featuring him in his award winning role as a penmanship teacher. tracy's address will go in between the lines.
