Vintage - OLLCB DT

Here is my posting for the latest challenge over at Ooh-La-La where the theme this time is 'Vintage', I made another easel card, using image and papers from their Fleur D'Imagination CD,  the flowers are made from the same paper I used for the layering, the scroll die cut is from Memory Box, lastly I added some flat packed pearls.

Kind and Caring Thoughts - CD Sunday DT

At last I can get onto Blogger, I'm only a day late for this posting, I wasn't able to get it to load all last week for some reason, so frustrating.

This time at CD Sunday our theme is Kind and Caring Thoughts, I made a Get Well Soon card using images and papers from My Craft Studio's Papercraft Library, the edges are punched with an MS punch and the bow is made from ribbon in my stash.

Easter/Spring - OLLCB DT

Time for another new challenge over at Ooh-La-La Creations, this time our theme is Easter/Spring.  I went with Spring and made this card for a friend in the UK for her birthday, all the images/papers are from the Shawn Jenkins CD by Ooh-La-La, I added some glitter to the flowers with a Sakura glitter pen, and the addition of some cream coloured card for the layering, ribbon from my stash and a die cut senti in copper coloured mirri card.

Card for a Child - OLLCB DT

This one is a bit late, I've only just noticed - oohps !,  it should have posted on Monday but was still sat there waiting to post, not sure what happened there.  

This week our new theme is 'A card for a Child' for Ooh-la-la creations challenge.  The image and papers are from Fairies and Blooms CD, I made it for my Grand-daughter Matilda's birthday,  haven't made a twisted easel for a while so that made a nice change. I added some die cut swirls, ribbon and a senti from my stash.

152 A Special Lady - OLLCB DT

Our latest challenge over at Ooh-La-La starts today, with the theme of 'A Special Lady' I decided to use image and papers from Ooh-La-La's Shawn Jenkins CD. I do love cards with flowers and butterflies. My doily was lightly inked with some purple ink as were the edges of the BP, the two little scrolls are made from Martha Stewart paper clay and moulds, they give some depth,  I also cut some extra butterflies for a bit more dimension and finally finished off with a purple bow and a 'for you mum' sentiment.

8/8 - Use a Heart - OLLCB DT

An easel card from me this time for the latest challenge at Ooh-La-La, the papers and image are from their Shawn Jenkins Collection CD, I added some die cut flourishes, a die cut heart, some gems, and little white flowers which I coloured with Promarkers.

7/8 - Year of the Horse - CD Sunday DT

Apparently it's the 'Year of the Horse' this year, and that's theme we've chosen this time over at CD Sunday. My image is from a CD of 6,900 Animal pictures I bought from an ebay seller when I first started paper crafting  years ago, my BP is from Bearly Mine Designs, I used various die cut scrolls/flourishes which I linked together, all finished off with some dotty ribbon, pearls and  some little flowers from my stash which I coloured with Pro-Markers.

add a Number - CD Sunday DT

I'm showing  you all an oval shaped card today, this is my DT card for CD Sunday, our new theme is 'Add a Number', I cut the shaped card using Centura Pearl and a Go Kreate nesting die, I also cut the DP into the same shape, the image is from Debbi Moores' CD My Fair Lady, finally I added some glitter, Kort and Godt roses and the numbers.

Garden Pleasures - CD Sunday DT

What a funny week it's been, we've had some terrific thunderstorms here most nights that have caused some quite substantial damage across the region, thankfully apart from several days without phones or internet we've been OK, but several friends have suffered badly.  Sounds daft but thunder here sounds so different from when we were in UK, the thunder just seem to rumble on for ages and shake the house, very few noisy bangs,  so we're hoping to catch up on some much needed sleep this week.

My card which is for the latest challenge at CD Sunday uses image and papers from two Joanna Sheen CD's Ivory Cats and Pam West, I also used dies from both Memory Box and Heartfelt Creations for the little bird, cat, frame, and the flowers and leaves, and some paper lace over my paper joins.

Hats - CD Sunday DT

It's the first Sunday of the month again already, so over at CD Sunday that means it's a sponsored challenge, this month we have Jems Designs who are offering a CD from their range for one lucky entrant.

The team were generously given the lovely Hat Box Collection CD to work with, this turquoise hat and BP's jumped out for me, after purple, my fav colours are Turquoise or Fuschia, I added an extra layer of the hat and the bag and highlighted them with Sakura Silver Glitter pen, unfortunately it doesn't show up at all in the piccy.

Masking - MTTC DT

This week our theme at My Time To Craft this week is 'Masking' .  I am showing you some ATC's I made recently for a swap, I masked together the various flowers, butterflies and birds from various Daisy Trail digi kits using Craft Artist 2 before printing and cutting around the top of the images and layering onto the backgrounds.

Inspired By Nature - OLLCB DT

Time for a new challenge over at the Ooh-La-La Challenge blog and this time we have the theme of  'Inspired by Nature', thought I would make a Shutter Card this time to show off the images and papers which are from Yesterdays Memories CD, I printed the BP direct on to the hammered card, cut and shaped the flowers from the CD also and finished the centres with some gems, the ribbons are also from the CD, the front image I cut twice and decoupaged to give extra dimension, although it doesn't really show here.

Go Green - CD Sunday DT

What a wet weekend it is, with all this rain the garden will be definitely be green, over at CD Sunday this week, we have the theme of 'Go Green'  I decided to go for colour green rather than recycling and my papers and image are from My Craft Studio Opulent CD.

Ornate Blossom - CD Sunday DT

A couple of automated posts from me this week, as I won't be around for a few days, it also means I will have all my commenting to catch up on next week too, not that i normally do it until after a challenge has finished, as I can never remember which ones I have done, so I find much easier to do them all in one go.

As I write this it's raining yet again and has got dark early due to the clouds. This time at CD Sunday Christine chose 'Ornate Blossom' as our theme, thought I would go for black/white/silver combo as it 's quite striking. I also used Spellbinders dies and embossed my base card with an A4 folder. my blossom is from Joanna Sheens Eastern Treasures CD.

Vintage/Nostalgic - Ooh-la-La DT

My card for this challenge features image and papers from Ooh-La-La's Yesterdays Memories CD just love those dresses, wish I had a figure to wear something like that, so elegant. I also used some purple mirri die cut with spellbinders, some flowers die cut from the BP and a few pearls for good measure, don't forget to pop over to the challenge and see what the other girls have made.

Purple Paradise - CD Sunday DT

Well I've spent several hours trying to add a photo to this post, but blogger will not play, hopefully I will be able to add it later, in the meantime if you want to see my purple creation pop over to CD Sunday where it is the 2nd card on display. This week the theme is Purple Paradise which you may or not have guessed was my choice, so I'm looking forward to seeing all your Purple creations.

It's our wedding anniversary today and we've been married 13 years now, can't believe it's so many already, the time has flown by.

Anyway on to my card, the images and paper are from Eastern Treasures by Joanna Sheen, I do love the elegance and colour of Purple Irises, I also used some Purple Centura Pearl for the base and some lilac core'dinations for the die cuts and finished with a few purple pearls.

In the Sky - MTTC DT

A digi card from me today, Over at MTTC this time we have the theme of 'In the Sky', I chose to use Butterflies, made with digi elements and papers from Caroline Rawcliffe in Craft Artist 2.

It's a brief posting as we have visitors this week, so nice to see friends from UK I haven't seen for a couple of years.

Through the Window - CD Sunday DT

This time over at CD Sunday we have a few changes, Teamie Carol has gallantly taken up the reigns of doing the weekly posting, as Jenny is taking a break for a while, we also have a new DT member Sue, and  a new guest designer Margaret for the month of April, and lastly this week as it is the first week of the month it is a sponsored week, Carol requested that she sponsor us this time as it's a special birthday for her this year and she is offering a fab prize for the lucky winner, so there are a few good reasons to pop on over and have a look.

The theme this week is 'Through the Window',  my card has two windows, the window of the card which I cut with a die and also my image is through a window, image and papers are from Hollypond Hill by Joanna Sheen, I added some extra birds and roses to the frame and also some self adhesive paper ribbon.

Bunnies - MTTC DT

My second card today is for My Time To Craft where we have the theme of 'Bunnies' mine are from JS Hollypond Hill CD and are having a tea party! I also used some new self adhesive white tape and coloured with pink ink, some paper roses and an MS punch for the edge of the card

Showtime - CD Sunday DT

So where did January go, I can't believe it's February already, time for another challenge over at CD Sunday, this week the them is 'Showtime' my image is from Daisy and Friends CD from Joanna Sheen, she so cute, I edge punched the front of the card with an MS punch and my little flowers were made using an Artimeo flower die.
