I. Hate. Everything.
Did you see the new STAR WARS trailer?
Spoiler Alert: The Emperor survived the below event...as did a very large portion of the Death Star when it was completely destroyed.

Star Wars: Unmolested
Perfect word for what George Lucas has done...molested.
Had a Star Wars marathon that was playing on the tv on in the background last weekend and those horrid additional/injected/enhanced/terrible-looking/insulting/stupid scenes stood out in such a painful manner. Especially that Jabba's Lair dance number. Christ.
Well, it brought back all the pain (I'll be complaining about this until I die). And then I saw the below article... and I pray it's true. And I pray this somehow leads to a release of the original as-I-saw-it-in-the-theater STAR WARS.
And after watching episode IV, V, and VI again, I feel I can conclude definitively and finally that Chewbacca is a living entity. A REAL animal humanoid. And not some guy in a costume.

Elstree 1976
Rented this last night from Amazon and it was pretty awesome. Like watching a group therapy session... lots of ego and insecurity, and interesting and fun memories from the folks who helped make Star Wars such a neat experience.

Nothing But Star Wars
With this new batch of Star Wars movies better come a re-release of the original Star Wars that I saw in the theaters. I was watching this video below of the changes that were made over the years and I realized I barely remember the pure original unaltered Star Wars (beings George Lucas blocked digital versions of the original three to ever be distributed).

- 2 teaspoons coriander
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 tablespoons ginger root
- 1 teaspoon hot green or red chilies
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 pounds fresh spinach
- Slice lamb (or other meat) into cubes about one-inch thick.
- As desired, season the meat with salt and pepper.
- Add 3 tablespoons oil to a fry pan along with the seasoned lamb.
- Stir over medium-low heat until meat has browned, and then remove from heat.

- Five minutes before 2 hours is up, rinse spinach and place in a pot of boiling water until wilted (about 5 minutes).
- Drain, chop, and finally mix spinach into the Dutch oven, allowing it to lend its flavor to the stew (about 5 minutes).
- Serve over white rice, and feel the force flow through you.

Please Be True
"Our sources indicate that the project has been under way for quite some
time, but it's been challenging because of some damage to the original
negatives they are utilizing," states the report. "The goal is to
release A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of Jedi in their complete, unaltered, original form without the redone special edition SFX."
