We had to pull our review of NCAA Football 07 for the PSP because the build we received from Electronic Arts was different from the retail version of the game that shipped out to stores. It turns out that the copy we got did not have a crucial, game-breaking bug in it. This bug would spot the ball where your runner was first touched by a tackling player from the other team rather than placing it where the runner actually went down. Somehow the bug managed to make it out to retail copies of NCAA 07, but EA fixed it in the build that we received and future copies of the game.

This week EA announced on its EA Sports website that it would be providing replacement UMDs to anyone who is experiencing this bug. All you have to do is send in your bugged UMD to:

EA Customer Warranty
Attn: NCAA PSP
209 Redwood Shores Parkway
Redwood City, CA 94065

You'll need to include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number in the package. Not only will you receive a new, bug-free copy of NCAA 07 in up to 10 days, but you'll also receive a $15 off coupon that can be redeemed at the online EA Store.

We're planning to send in our own buggy copy of NCAA 07 to take advantage of EA's generous offer, and we'll report our experience to you, our faithful readers.
