It's a big day tomorrow for fans of Rock Band and Guns N' Roses. The band's latest album -- Chinese Democracy -- will officially go on sale via the Rock Band Store on April 14th for Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii and on April 16th for PlayStation 3. Users can pay using their points and grab the album either as individual tracks or in full at their console's online destination.

All of the 13 songs on the album will be served up in their original master track form. Rock Band 2 already featured the track "Shackler's Revenge" and rounds off the complete playlist for the album. Here's the rest of the track listing:
  • Chinese Democracy
  • Better
  • Street of Dreams
  • If the World
  • There Was a Time
  • Catcher in the Rye
  • Scraped
  • Riad N' the Bedouins
  • Sorry
  • I.R.S.
  • Madagascar
  • This I Love
  • Prostitute
  • The Wii DLC can be either stored in the system's internal memory or straight onto an SD card; the latter will allow seamless play, as the songs will be streamed directly off the SD card.

For those about to rock... paint a shed.

Bryn says: Rock. And. Roll. I like me a little bit of Axl Rose's wailing vocals, but I found Chinese Democracy to be lacking something that the old GNR had. Maybe I've just played a little bit too much "Sweet Child o' Mine" on Guitar Hero II.

Still, I have no doubt that this will sell truckloads of downloads across the three platforms. I like the way the Wii is now at less of a disadvantage than it was before thanks to the new SD card storage functionality.
