Like any good first-person shooter, Medal of Honor European Assault has guns. Lots of them. As you run through the game, you'll get weapons from your fellow OSS squadmates, find them scattered on the ground, and even pry them from the cold, dead hands of your enemies. There are a variety of weapon types, too, including pistols, machine guns, grenades, and even a few kinds of rocket launchers. We got a chance to check out some of the weapons available to you, and we've got descriptions of each and every one of them on the following pages.

1. Sten Submachine Gun

Beginning life in 1941, the Sten submachine guns were extremely reliable, despite the fact that they were relatively inexpensive to produce and were considered "crude" by some experts. The weapon of choice for Britain's Royal Commandos and Royal Parachutists, the MK II was introduced in late 1942, and a suppressed version was developed and released by the end of the next year. Weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces and firing a 9x19mm round from a 32 round magazine, the suppressed MK II was meant to be fired in single shot mode, since firing the weapon in automatic quickly wore out the silencer.
