I was pretty shocked when I heard that a game was being made based on the movie "Fight Club", the Brad Pitt and Ed Norton vehicle that made a major splash in 1999. Not only was the movie released more than 5 years ago, it really wasn't about fighting. Sure, there was a fair amount of fisticuffs onscreen, but it was about much more than that, touching on subjects as diverse as anarchy, the human condition, and the mind-numbingly mundane aspects of everyday life. While the game doesn't really touch on these philosophical subjects at all, it looks like Fight Club will do a good job of recreating the strictly physical aspects. Read More »

David Fincher's 1999 Fight Club is a really, really good movie. It's violent, funny, and sick all at the same time. It's a perfect portrayal of schizophrenia nicely tied together with a little anarchy, a little political right-on-ness, and a whole lot of dry humor. Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Meatloaf made up a great cast that took the film to lofty heights, winning over fans with its slick story and great presentation.
