So during my reorganizing of the paper I came up with an idea for organizing my scrap paper that I want to use for cards. Soooooo I made another video. I used the Small Wonder RCA video camera that we have and was able to shoot this one to show my idea. You know this is kind of fun. A lot of work, but fun. I'm thinking about maybe doing tutorial or project videos. Hmmmmm..... I'll be thinking over that one. I know I love watching scrap videos and there are a TON out there so I'm not sure if I have anything new to offer so we'll see. Anywho, I hope this organizing tip helps out. If you do have any organzing questions please feel free to ask me. I really enjoy organizing and also enjoy helping others. I mean I enjoy organzing so much that I WILL go and actually help you organize if you are close enough. I've helped friends and family organize closets, pantries and rooms.

Messy Scrap Room
Over on Cafemom in the scrap group that I help admin. we are doing an organizing challenge for our scrap spaces. Whether it be a room, closet, corner or just totes. To start we were to take pics of our area "as is" and post them. I went one better and video taped it. I actually did it using my camera. This is my very 1st video that I have posted on YouTube and of all things it's my messy scrap room! Oh well! A Memory to Scrap is having a garage sale on May 16th and I have bought a table to sell all the stuff I'm ready to get rid of. So far, I've gone through all my 12x12 paper and this is what I weeded out to sell. Crazy isn't it! But this is several years of collecting this paper.

New storage I found
I love going to Tuesday Morning and checking out any scrap stuff they have for a good deal. I went a couple of months ago and found these really cool small storage boxes. I didn't get them because they were $4.99 each and I just didn't know if I could use them. I went back yesterday and they were still there well if that's not fate - what is? hehe This time I knew exactly what I could use them for so I bought both of them. It even had a sticker on them that said they were acid free and ??? hmmm something else like biodegradable or something. Anyway, I LOVE them!!! I used them to put my 3x3 cards in, which I have quite a few from swaps I have done on
CafeMom.

Ribbon Storage
I am an avid ribbon collector. Once I got into using ribbon on my scrap pages, I became obsessed with buying ribbon. Which is pretty much what I do with any new thing I get interested in. : } Right now I'm into stamps/markers/inks for card making and yes I'm buying stuff for that. Ok enough of my obession, let's get back to the ribbon storage issue. I have found that as I continue to get more ribbon the storage I have no long works. Here is what I had for quite a while.
This worked fine until I got even more ribbon. This is what all my ribbon looks like now. It's in too many different places and I have to look through each spot when I'm looking for ribbon. I'm not using the above pictured storage anymore.

Now for my new solution and I sure hope this one will be the last! I found the Ribbon Ring. I saw it advertised in one of the scrap magazines and I think I saw it someone's blog one time too. Sorry I don't remember whose or I'd give them credit for helping me find this. I ordered 2 starter sets.
