OPI: Are We There Yet? (Touring America Collection)

It's another beautiful day here in Connecticut.  We have some pretty fun plans for the day. We're going to go hiking with Steve's brother, sister-in-law and our godson.  It's the best weather for it too so we're excited. Then we have dinner at my parent's house. My mom is making a really awesome dinner, seven layer salad, steak, mushrooms, red velvet cake! Yummmmm!!!!!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend as well!

Today I have another gorgeous color from the OPI Touring America collection.  This one is Are We There Yet? which is a gorgeous cantaloupe shade with the most subtle microshimmer.  It looks like a plain ol' creme, but in the sunlight you can see the itty bitty shimmer particles which add interest to it.  This collection has made me so happy with the coral type shades.  Those colors never usually work on me but both this and I Eat Mainely Lobster really work with my skin tone which puts a smile on my face!!!  I am really loving this color and I think almost anyone can pull it off.

The formula on this was a pleasure to work with. I had no issued and used three coats for the opacity shown.  I had no trouble with brush strokes at all it went on smoothly and evenly.

Be sure to click on the photos for a closer look.  The photos will be larger and you'll be able to see the subtle shimmer:

So what do you think of this one? It's a winner in my book. I really love it!

China Glaze: Sugar High (Up & Away Collection)

China Glaze's "Sugar High" is part of the Spring 2010 Up & Away Collection. It's described as a "petal pink". I think this pink is really beautiful the name totally suits it, it's a sweet as sugar pink! It has a VERY slight melon/coral tone to it but reads in most lighting as a toned down hot pink.

The formula in this one is thick and pigmented, but not too thick that it's difficult to work with. In fact, this is one of the easier ones to work with in the collection (so far). Two coats gives you a smooth opaque finish as shown in the photos below.

This color is going to be a fantastic pedicure color for the summer. Imagine this one with bronzed beachy skin. A winner for sure.

What do you think of "Sugar High"? Love it or leave it??
