Challenges for today

Good afternoon ladies and any gents lurking around, we know you want to create too :-)

Today I have been busy in the garden planting all kinds of flowers and even managed to finish my window box’s but my luck was in when my friend rang and said TEA SHOP well you don’t have to ask me twice lol and to my surprise she asked me to show her how to make Christmas cards while my hubby is in the UK for a week (he’s goes next week) I was delighted and so we had a little shop for her and of course I could not resist a little shop for myself as she just had a delivery of new stash, groan says the purse or to my American friends wallet and we both came out very happy after tea, carrot cake and a little spend in the craft shop :-)

Onto my card which I made last night for my granddaughter who will be 9 years old next week, also she like's fairies and ballerinas and I just happened to have one which is one of Linnie’s designs, which you can find here ohhh don’t forget Cute Daisy May challenge while I am talking about Linnie as you get a pick of Linnie’s designs if you win the challenge.

I started using Squiggle Fly Sketch but then I got a bit carried away so I hope it will pass as I have entered it into their challenge.
I coloured her with H02 twinkle paints and Whimsy Stamps wanted water colours for their challenge this week so I think this will pass.

As she has wings I have entered her into SophistiCats challenge and to finish her off I added a ballerina charm which I got from Sassy Designs oh I do wish I had bought more of these as I just love them and lots of glitter and bling.

The sentiment on the inside was computer generated and I made it a pocket card so we can add some money, as she told me she is in desperate need of craft bling, as she puts it, awe so sweet.

Thank you all for popping by my place today and have a really good day all.

Challenge and Fairy Card

Hello to everyone, busy day today as I took my friend down the souk for a little shop before she goes back home on Saturday. The bling you see on the card I pick up for about £1.70 for a hundred pieces and the ribbon was 40p for 5 metres so I was a happy bunny and bought loads of colours in both, I shall be going to that little shop again in the souk as it’s a little treasure trove of goodies. The card is for my niece and the ribbon is actually lilac but looks a blue in this light, I also used two of my new Cuttlebug folders, Forest Branches and D'vine Swirl. The stamp is Inkadinkado which I love and I glittered the wings and stars which was ideal for the Cuttlebug Challenge this week which was glitter and of course your Cuttlebug. Finally I added a flower, which is three, layered up and added a sentiment hope you like it. Going on a blog read now and thank you for calling by I do appreciate it.

Challenges and Faires

Today I totally forgot I had a little girls Birthday tomorrow so I had to do a rush card, so it was back to the faires again plus she is a pink and lilac girl (two of my favourite colours). I am going to enter it into Sketch Saturday.

Not long before my friend arrives now and to answer Sallys question yes she is a crafter too so we will be having craft days like we did last time, it's so good to craft with someone else as you both get to swap ideas. Last time she was here she got addicted to my Cuttlebug and as soon as she got home she bought one lol, so now we have more to chat about.

Off to look at some of my favourite blogs now and see what everyone has been creating.
