New Challenge Catch the Bug

Hi Everyone
I hope you all had a good Christmas and Santa brought you some lovely goodies, he did me and I was totally spoilt, he sent me an extra present of chicken pox, YES at my age of over 21 lol, I came out in spots, so off I trotted to the docs and she said AT YOUR AGE  (what is this age thing lol) you have got a mild case of Chicken Pox.
I have to ask mum if I ever had this because of my understanding you do not get this twice, I did have bit of a fever but I am feeling a lot better now, so here I am with my card for the challenge over at Catch The Bug and this week we would love to see your creations based on the photo inspiration.

I made a loved themed ATC using the image called Decon Heart.

You can find this image at Bugaboo Stamps and lot’s more too and don’t forget Jodie has a 50% sale on all images at the moment

Challenges:
Charisma Cards - Anything Goes

Delicious Doodles - Anything Goes

I want to wish you all A Very Happy New Year and to Thank You All for the support you have giving me during Brian’s cancer this year, I truly appreciate your friendship, concerns and hopes for him.

I hope the New Year brings Brian better health and the strength to keep fighting this terrible disease and to all my lovely friends I want to Wish you all the very best for the Coming Year and pray it’s a good one for you too.

ATC

Hi everyone, I hope your all well and the weather is being kind to you, I am posting a creation I made yesterday it’s an ATC, now I do not make many of these but I do enjoy making them when I do.

The image is one I won over at Bugaboo, he’s so cute, I coloured him with Copic and Pro Markers then cut him out, I used Bo Bunny papers and ink the edges with Dew Drops, the sentiment is an old one from my scrapbook box.

I have not looked in this box for months and found about 200 sentiments, see hidden stash that you forget about lol plus lots of other things. The hearts and ribbon are from my stash and of course the flower is from Wild Orchid, I finished by adding a bit of bling.

I have entered the following challenges:

One Stop Crafts - ATC

Catch The Bug - ATC

Sister Hood of Crafters - Anything Goes

Creative Card Crew - Pink and Purple.... my favourite colours too

Karber -  Use Something Old .... Sentiment I used

I have not been crafting today as I woke with a rather bad head and this has been going on for a month or so, I see the docs tomorrow, I am also getting flashes in my eyes so I went to get my eyes done and only a little change there so I hope the doc can sort me out. I hate it when I cannot craft.
I was also a bit of an idiot yesterday, I made a card for a friend and by mistake took it to the shop to be sold, I realised as soon as I got back home and went straight back to the shop but it had been sold, how dumb is that, so I have to make another one now, hubby says I can now wear the dunces hat for a day (cheek).

Thanks for popping in to see me again and have a really good night all oh don’t forgot Whimsy Seek Peeks start this week.

ATC

This is an ATC I made for Arty Girlz Challenge the ribbon and beads are recycled from my christmas crackers and some bits from a project I was working on, the edges are embossed with bronze.

I also made 6 of these for a swap at the Cropstop forum (with bits left over from a project I was working on and some recycled bits) at the begining of the year and had some bits left over, just enough for another one for this challenge.

ATC'S,Cards,Blog Candy Websites

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope you had a good one as we did with our friends, this is their last week and it will be a month they have been staying with us and we have enjoyed every moment of it, we will be sad to see them go.
We have some exiting news as our son proposed to his girlfriend on New Years Eve and she said yes, hurray. They plan to get married in September of this year and hubby will be starting his diet soon (so he says) lol.
I made my first ever ATC's for a swap at Cropstop, great web site forum hosted by Haylie-Jo
and she has a great store with lots of wonderful crafting goodies.

I used left over paper a bit of bronze embbosing powder, some decorative leafs I had knocking about from another project and lastly ribbons and jewels from my christmas crackers.

Have a great New Year and all the best for 2009 and hope you have lots of creative crafting times.
