Triple Trouble!!!!

Picture 005c copy

Morning peeps and hope you are all OK xxx

It’s that time of the week when he head over and check out what’s happening at Papertake Weekly

This week our theme is Triple-Tastic and all we want you to do is to use 3 of something on your card (all the deets can be found over at Challenge HQ!!)

We have a brand new sponsor as well and it is ….

ribbon girl logo

Yes, the lovely Mary & Andrea have joined us as regular sponsors,  and  check out the prize this week …..

Ribbon Kits

The winner gets  one of their beautiful Special Selection Ribbon Kits in the colour of their choice (there are 6 to choose from!)

Picture 001c copy

So here’s the old cardy and yet again I seem to have slipped back to the old piggy ways cos it’s quite plain really.

Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing?

Picture 017c copy

I could not resist using one of the new CC Designs images and she is Cupcake Birgitta – what a cute lil Swiss Pixie she is :)

Ooops, I just noticed that I missed adding the spots to the second cake down – doh!! Probably too busy slobbering and wishing they were real cupcakes lol!!!

Anyway, you can get her from Tracy over at Dies To Die For.

I gave her the Copics treatment in these fab colours -

E00, R21, R11 (skin) E40, E41, E42, E50 (hair), B0000, B000, B00, B02, RV000, RV10, YG0000, YG01, YG03 (clothes etc)

Picture 016c copy

The papers are once again from the freebie pack of gorgeousness that is Craftwork Cards Vintage Rose – I used 3 different ones.  I did the little tag thing on the ‘puter and cut it out in a random sort of fashion!!

The good old PATP Eyelet Lace Punch was put to work again – and why not!! And I added 3 button and 2 lots of 3 self adhesive pearls which are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts

The white seam binding is from The Ribbon Girl and you can see it here chicksies.

Picture 004c copy

BTW, the border underneath the pink striped paper is actually the negative bit from Lord Timmie’s Scalloped punch – it was too nice to chuck!!!

So that’s me done for today.

I’ll be back in the morning with my Simon Says Stamp challenge card and I’ll warn you , you WILL need your shades for this bad boy (actually it’s a girl but that doesn’t sound right lol!!)

Here’s a sneakie peekie …..

Picture 015csp

… struth, wait till you see the entire thing - it will make yer retinas bleed!!

So on that warning note, I’ll say tatty-bye and see you tomoz.

Have the fabbiest of days and hugs to all xxx

Hi lovelies and hope you are all OK xxx

Can I just say a huge thank you to everyone who left a comment yesterday or sent me an e-mail re my new DT post. You have no idea how much this has meant to me and I just want to let you all know how much I truly do appreciate your kind words xxxx

And there is a £10 voucher up for grabs

plus some fab DT cards and quite a few of the girlies have used the new release images which are are going on sale on Wednesday 9th March at 9am (UK Time).

Picture 002cc copysmall

I used this bunny image which is called Gift Wrapped – awwww.

I remembered NOT to chuck out the Copics list today – not that many on it – and I used

Picture 006c copysmall

I have had this old punch for years – it was one of the first I ever bought – and I still like it. I think it might be a Woodware punch but I wouldn't swear to it!!

Picture 007c copysmall

A yummy double bow made with some gorgeous seam binding from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The pearl in the middle was part of one of them pre-done arrangement thingies and I thought it was a bit big so I cut it off  :(

It came in very handy methinks!!!

Picture 009c copysmall

See that lovely grey that I used on the nestie and to mat the DP?

Well it was from the Paper Mill Shop and it’s actually paper - I love the texture ;)

There’s a tiny bit of Martha’s PATP Eyelet Lace Punch just peeping out – Tracy at Dies To Die For has these in stock and the DP is from one of Summer Driggs collections that she so generously gives to us completely free of charge (thank you Summer xxx). These are from the Dryer Lint At Tiffanys collection.

Fab aren’t they!!!

And talking of fab, we mustn’t forget the self adhesive pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts

So that’s my card de jour peeps.

I did say that I had a bit more candy for you and today it is …..

janloveteddyromeodbl[1]ed

… this little poppet here.

So as always if you fancy giving him a new home, all you have to do is leave your name with good old kinky Linky and I’ll pick a winner this time next week. Well I say I will but of course I wont cos I leave that to Mr Random Boy!!!

So on that note I’ll be off and I’ll see you tomoz with something Tilda-ish (it will be Tilda for sure cos my new Spring kit has arrived and I could not resist inking it up)!!

Huggiest of hugs to all and have a great day xxx

Picture 001c copy

Actually I do have lots of fave colours, you may be surprised to hear, but this is one of my absolute faves.

I coloured the sweet little Dandelion Clock image with these Copics -

E00, E21, R11 R20 (skin) E42, E50 (hair) C00, C1, C3, C5, RV0000, RV000, RV02, RV10, YG0000, YG03 (clothes etc)

The Lili Of The Valley sentiment is from the Inspirational Sentiments sheet.

Picture 006c copy         Picture 007c copy

Blooms, seam binding and sparkly gems from Wild Orchid Crafts (the heart pins were from my local craft shop).

Picture 008c copy

I really am loving these papers. They are the new Tippy Toes collection from Nitwits.

And I used a double helping of  the sweet Tilda Lace die.

Picture 003c copy      Picture 004c copyo

Where the dodgy angle pic I hear you cry????

Well I have to be honest and say that I forgot to take it and then by the time I remembered, I’d packed the card up to be sent to Lisa and Laila and I didn’t want to unpack it all.

What a lazy trout!!!

OK now for the winner of my candy which was from last week’s card ….

Picture 002cc copy      janlittlefairybirthdayfairydbl[1]

(.... this one here, along with the giveaway :)

So the winner of Birthday Fairy is ….

Doc1

Wooohoo - it’s the gorgeous Sarah Wright xxx

Sarah please ping me a quick email and I’ll get your stamp off to you chicksie :)  And thank you to everyone who entered. There will be more giveaways coming soon so keep your eyes peeled peeps xxx

And a huge thank you to everyone who answered my question  xxx I got it sorted, sadly, by having to dump all the saved links and start again, I know there is a better way of doing it but I am so technically challenged that it was by far the easiest way for me.

Right I am off.

I always say that and I just realised as I typed it  that it makes me sound like I am decomposing lol!! Which I probably am seeing as I am crocking on a bit now rrofl !!!)

Have a fab day and see you tomoz for something hAnglar-ish or maybe Tilda-ish?

Hugs to all xxx

Pom Tiddly Om Pom :)xxx

Picture 008c copy

Morning peeps and hope you are OK xxx

Well it’s Thursday and of course it’s  time for another Lili Of The Valley Thursday Challenge

This week we want to see

Anything But A Square

it’s nice to get away from the usual 6 x 6  square cards (in my case anyway!!) and there’s a fab prize donated by the 2 lovely LOTV chief fairies, Lisa and Laila ….

GIFT VOUCHER

… fabulous :)

Picture 001c copy copy

So I did a  sort of circle easel card.

Now you might have noticed that the only thing round on this blog is me usually and that’s because my pea sized brain doesn't think in circles  for some reason!! So this was wayyyy out of my comfort zone, but I think it’s a good thing to stretch yourself  occasionally.

And..…

I wasn’t too unhappy with how it turned out.

I coloured little Pom Pom (awww) with Copics in these colours -

Skin: E00, E21, R11, R20

Hair: E42, E50

Clothes etc: E0000, E00, E02, E95, YG0000, YG01, YR0000, YR00, YR20

and you can get a fab selection of these mighty pens from Tracy over at Dies To Die For

Picture 004c copy

I don’t often use these colours but two things sort of lead me there.

One was this beautiful paper – it’s MME Lost & Found   Market Street & Lovely French Stripe,  which Tracy has in stock. I love that soft tangerine shade and it’s edged with a glitter border which I chopped off and used by itself. In fact, I was very mean with this paper – you know how I have this aversion to  putting scissors near any 12 x 12s – so I only used one piece of  6 x 6 for the whole card (spot the meanie!!)

The sentiment is of course chopped off a Pink Petticoat sentiment ribbon.

Picture 007c copy

The other thing that  really made me want to use this colour theme was a fab box of goodies that arrived here the other day. It was my new Wild Orchid Crafts DT kit.

In it was some beautiful  vintage seam binding in one of the prettiest colours I have ever seen – cameo beige …

** NEW ** 10 PALE PINK MULBERRY PAPER POPPY FLOWERS

… and these poppies.

They are pale pink but are so softly shaded and I just had to use them. Aren’t they pretty peeps?

So that’s me card done for today. If you get a sec nip over and have a look at what the DT have done – just beautiful :)

I’ll be back tomoz with either a Tilda-ish or H&S creation. I haven’t made my mind up which one yet hence no sneak peek cos it isn't yet done. So I’m off to do that right now before the light goes. It isn’t exactly brilliant even at this time of the day so God only knows what it will be like by the time  I’ve faffed and fussed and actually got the card done.

I am not a quick crafter. In fact, I am sooooooooooooooooooo slooooooooooooow it isn't even funny!!!

Anyhoos I’ll see you tomorrow and until then, have a great Thursday and hugs to all xxxx
