Another New Challenge & A Sneakie Peekie xxx

Well it's new for me cos this is my first card for it.

It's the Stamp With Fun challenge and this week the challenge is based on a sketch by my blog bud, the awesomely talented Bev.

I have to just say that I was a bit late taking this pic and by the time I got round to doing it the light was really poor, so the colours don't show as nicely as they really are.

But anyway, here's my take on Bev's beautiful sketch.

The image is Stampasarus - I treated meself to one or three yesterday when I was in Creative Pastimes (Barb, if you are reading this, I hope you are better soon xxxx).

As per usual, I coloured it with the old PM bad boys and did the Glamour Dust thingie - you know how it is lol xxx

And the MSBP was used, not once, not twice but three times!!! It now has company - a rival perhaps - but more of that in a sec. The punched papers are PP and the stripey green and grey one is a 'Dawny P's been fiddling with Paint on the 'puter' one!!

The ribbon is from a past Raspberry Ribbons kit - this pic does not do it justice cos it is just so very pretty. The button was a randomer I found lurking furtively at the bottom of my button box.

I am not really a decoupage fan but I couldn't help adding some dimension to the the image, which you can hopefully see a bit better here.

Now tomorrow is Willow Sketchie time and I can tell you that it is a fabulous challenge, so don't forget to check it out.

In the meantime, here are a couple of them there sneakie peekies ....

Who's that lil pumpkin?
And what's that border punch?

All will be revealed in the morrow xxx

Today, there was knock on the door and there was Mr Postie with 2 parcels for me. One was from a very wonderful pal of mine who will remain nameless (but she knows who she is and she knows how eternally grateful I am to her for the trouble she goes to xxxx), who sent me a box chock full of goodies all the way from the good ol' US of A. There were spools and spools of beautiful ribbons and so fab were they that I just had to use one of them for the challenge tomorrow.

So that was one parcel.

The other parcel came from the very lovely and wonderful Tracey at Dies To Die For and it contained something which nearly made me weep with joy!!! You can see a bit of it in the sneak peek pics and all I'll say for now is you better watch out MSBP in my punch drawer, cos you DO have a rival lol xxx

How very sad that I am now talking to it!!

But it has been giving me the run around off and on since Christmas - fickle thing, just cos I over-work it!!.

Right, I'm off to read a bit more of me book, but before I go, I just have to share this with you. I saw THIS on YouTube and it made me chuckle. And there's a bit of Kaiser Chiefs thrown in as well, so it's all good :)

Mind you, it would have been the best laxative I'd ever had if I'd actually been there.

But enjoy, and I'll see ya tomorrow xxxxx

Funky Pop Up Tutorial xx

Hi peeps xx

I managed to get a spare hour or so, so as promised, here is the tutorial for the pop up flower card.

This is the same type of card that we did at card club last night.
As my Nikkie wasn't well and therefore not there, I was missing my helper. And as we had a lot of ladies last night, there was only me to go around between them all lol xx. But they were very understanding and I thank them all for their patience. I know that some of them pop over here, so I hope that this helps fill in any gaps which they might have missed.

But also, I hope that you all find it useful as well. I have to say that I can't lay claim to inventing these cards - I'm not that clever lol xxx but this is my twist on it. Please excuse some of the pics btw cos this was done a bit on the quick side - ie while the footie was on :(( and it's only my second tutorial!!!

So here goes ....

You'll need a piece each of A5 black and white card, a scrap of green card, some DP - I've used PP One In A Melon here cos it is nice and bright and shows up nicely (and it is verrrry gorgeous as well)., plus some punched flowers in co-ordinating colours and various sizes. Finally, use whatever you want to finish it off - more of that at the end.

Fold the black card in half. This is your outer card. Then fold your white card in half and trim so that it is 14cm wide . When you sit this inside the black card, there will be a narrow border.

Put the black card aside for the moment - we are just going to be working with the white card now, which is the inner bit. You can draw on one side of the white card cos when it is all fitted together, you won't see the marks.

The top of the pic here is the folded edge. Draw a line 3cm from this edge all the way across the card and then draw 2 lines down from the folded edge, 5cm in from each side, to meet the line as shown.

Where I've marked 'A', cut through both thicknessness of card. Where I've marked 'B', score through both thicknesses, but don't score where I've marked 'C'

Open up the card and push the 2 side bits out and then re-fold ...

It should now look like this.
Now draw a line across the card 1.5cm from the folded edge and draw 2 lines down 2cm in from each end to meet the line

Again, cut where I've marked 'A' (you will be cutting through 4 layers of card), and score on both sides where I've marked 'B'. Don't score where I've marked 'C'.

Open up the card and push the ends out and fold. It's easier to do this on one half and then the other rather than trying to do the whole thing all together.

Then you can stick this onto the black card you folded at the beginning, and all your pencil marks are hidden.

Here's the side view - you can see the 'steps' :)

Cut 2 pieces of DP and stick them onto the outside of the black card. You can just cut one large piece if you wish but I've found the paper lies better if you cut 2 smller pieces, plus you get a bit of a border which sets it off nicely.

Finally, decorate away to your hearts content using the punched flowers!! I've added ribbon (Raspberry Ribbons and my stash) and also some Card Candy from Craftwork Cards.

And as Brucie would say, that's all there is to it!!!

I've just noticed that the border on the finished card looks wonky - oooh errrr!! Now I am not making excuses here but IRL it is fairly straight!!! It must be the angle!! Either that or me camera must have had one too many lol xxxx

I think it has the potential for all sorts of uses and I hope you enjoy having a go. If you do, please let me know cos I'd love to see what you do with it.

Huggiest of hugs xxxxx

Sunny Saturday xxx

And Louis is back, cos I just love this little bear :))x

So I thought I'd use him again for this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge which is a really lovely sketch by Heidi - I will use this one again without doubt, so thank you Heidi xxx.

Louis was coloured with the old faithfuls (PMs) and highlighted with some Glamour Dust (no surprises there then !!) I paper pieced the heart to pick up one of the background papers I used.

I used my MSBP which is now feeling much better!! Tracy at Dies To Die For did have some of these babies so it might be worth checking out the website cos if you haven't got one already, then you don't know what you've been missing lol xxxx

Those beautiful papers are from the Spring CD from Wild Rose Studios.

Now I have to tell you peeps, these papers are something else. I got this CD yesterday, and you know how much I loves me papers lol xx Well I was like a kid in a sweet shop looking through it. The colours are so soft and pretty and there is even a section of stuff for you to colour yourself so you will never be stuck again for co-ordinating paper.

Here's a close up of them - hopefully you can see them a bit better!!

The ribbon is from a past Raspberry Ribbons kit - it's so pretty (I love gingham).

The teeny tiny hearts are from my stash but I've had them for so long that I can't remember where they came from :((

We are having one of those beautiful Spring days here in Chester, so this afternoon we are all going to the zoo. My niece and her little boy are also going so we should have fun!! There is a new butterfly enclosure (not sure that is the right word, but you know what I mean!!) which I haven't seen. Emma saw it last time she went and said it was impressive, so I want to see that today.

We love Chester Zoo - I think it is without doubt one of the best zoos in the country. Richard worked there as a keeper many years ago so it like having our own personal guide when he comes with us!!

The only prob with the zoo on days like today is that it brings out the 'dad- in- sandals- and- vests' brigade!!! There are more amusing human sights sometimes than in any of the animal enclosures!!! I have to tell you that my fave is the 'dad- in- sandals- and- vests-with-dark-socks' look lol xxx It creases me every time!!! I can't understand how their wives let them go out like that lol xxxxx

Maybe they just don't like their hubbies very much and it is a sort of revenge thing!!!
Whatever it is, I love it!!!

Oohh we had some sad news yesterday.
One of Richard's oldest friends was burgled and these 'people' stole quite a few of his expensive birds (parrots and the likes). These were valuable birds but it isn't the monetary factor that is the issue. What got us is that whoever did this, broke into his aviaries and killed some of the birds that weren't deemed to be worth anything. They also let some go to fend for themselves, knowing they would stand little chance of survival. Can you believe that!!!!. This lovely man has spent years building up his collection and he is devastated.

He thinks he knows who did it because a few days before, 3 men drove onto his property (he has a farm) and when he asked them if he could help them, they said they thought it was a local recreation centre!!!! With hindsight they were probably sussing it all out. This is the second one of our friends to have been burgled recently. What a sad indictment of the times we are living in.

The recession has made some people desperate I guess, but I have real issues with people stealing from ordinary hard working and decent people like most of us are. It is so not fair. So peeps, please take extra care and make sure you are safe and secure. Lock everything and be extra aware, please please please. I hate being the bearer of doom and gloom but I would hate anyone to go through what our friends have been through.

On that 'cheery' note (sorry), I hope that whatever you are doing you will have a peaceful and enjoyable Saturday. If I get chance when we get back from the zoo, I may return with some more cardage, but if not, I'll see ya tomorra xxxxxxxx

Meeses and Mothers Day xxxx

Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely Mums
(including my own wonderful Mum, even though she is no longer physically here but is always in my heart xxxx).

Have a great day and I hope you are all getting spoiled rotten xxxx
This isn't a Mother's Day card though, it's my card for this week's Penny Black Saturday Challenge which this week is to include some doodling on your card.

Well, say no more girls cos I just loves me doodling lol xxx I also combined it with the sketch from this week's Friday Sketchers, so it's a 2 in 1 :)) x

The papers are PP and Willow and the sentiment is Penny Black - part of the set I bought from the NEC. I gave my MS doily punch a day off for good behaviour and used the zig zag embossing one for a change. The yummy ribbon is from a past Raspberry Ribbons kit, the flowers are Poppicrafts and I got the the centre blingy bit from a wholesale warehouse near here.

This is actually 2 blooms which I cut into, stuck together and then faffed about with. I got the idea from my friend Donalda - she has made a beautiful paper flower which I just loved so I thought I'd use the same technique. You can see the original tutorial here at Ann's blog. She has some gorgeous ideas so check it out xxx

This is actually 2 seperate sentiments but I stamped them together and then added a bit of bling from my bling stash :))

Hope you likee xx

There's not much waffle again today cos Richard and I are working on a project in our garden and we want to do a bit more before we go out for dinner (well it's tea really cos the table is booked for 5.30pm as it was the only time we could get in!!).

I have to just say that I felt really sad this morning to hear about poor Jade Goody, bless her heart. What a brave and courageous young woman she was and also a fantastic mother, considering the awful start she had in life. Her outlook on life was fabulous and her love for her kids just shone out of her. It was so moving and poignant that she died today of all days and my heart goes out to those 2 little boys.

I cannot wait for my little treasure to get home tonight - early hours of the morning but I will be up and waiting for them xxxx I just want to kiss that sweet little face and give her the biggest hug ever cos I haven't half missed her. Soppy old Grandma lol xxxx

Huggiest of hugs xxxxx

Little Gems, Watercolours And A Sneakie Peekie xxx

This is a first outing for my new Aqua Pro Markers.
What do ya think?

They are growing on me, but whether or not they will replace the bad boys re my affections remains to be seen. Only time will tell.

I thought I'd use this card for this week's Spoonful of Sugar challenge which is Little Gems. I only used 2 but they are little and they are gems so I guess it is fine lol xx

I love this little hunny bunny.
He is a Wild Rose Studios boy and he is ohhh so cute.

I wanted to do something oval-ey to follow the shape of the little eggs he is juggling so I thought I'd do a sort of Faberge egg - it has the gems after all lol xx I used a single nestie oval as the base, so it does not open, and made a stand for it.

This is the back view of the stand - it's easy peasy to make and it's just a bit different.

That delish ribbon is from Raspberry Ribbons - I so love gingham ribbon. You probably noticed :))xx

And now for a sneakie peakie ......

It's come round fast this time cos tomorrow is Willow Sketchie time.
I can tell you that this week the sketch has been done by our fabulous 'Love To Doodle' girl Sally Ann and it is an absolutely gorgeous sketch - I loved it.
......................

I thought I'd share a recipe with you lovely peeps tonight - make a change from the mad woman ramblings you poor souls have to put up with. I love cooking - it's probably the creative thingie, so maybe you are the same.

This recipe is for pasta with the deliciousness that is haloumi cheese - I love it. Now it isn't diet friendly but who ruddy well cares!! It's yummy and it's quick and easy. I am not good on quantities but the veg and cheese mix is enough for 2 hungry people on it’s own or 3-4 if you are having bread etc with it.

INGREDIENTS -

Pasta –which ever type you like. The original recipe uses tri-colour fusilli as it is supposed to be a red green and white sort of theme (Italian flag, no doubt) but I have made it with lots of different sorts and it is still fab!!!

Olive oil
Bunch of spring onions
1 red pepper
1 pack of haloumi cheese
Green pesto
Parmesan cheese
Handful of basil – roughly chopped

HOW TO COOK (THE ‘DAWNY’ WAY) !!

Firstly, pour a large glass of red wine (you may substitute with white if preferred). Drink about half and then begin to cook. Continue to have a good old slurp whilst cooking, as it is very thirsty work. Return to the bottle and top up the glass as required. This is very important and missing out this vital step is not recommended.

Cook the pasta as per instructions on pack. Meanwhile cut the pepper into strips and chop the spring onions roughly, keeping the white and green bits separate. Cut the haloumi into bite size pieces. I usually nick a few to much on at this point.

Open another bottle of wine

Heat some olive oil in a large pan and add the strips of peppers and the white bits of spring onions. Fry gently for about 4 minutes until beginning to colour slightly. Add about 2 tablespoons of water to the pan and continue to cook until the all the water has gone and veg is cooked. Add the chopped haloumi and the green bits of spring onions and cook for about 2 more minutes until the cheese is warm.

Drain the cooked pasta, add to the vegetables and cheese and mix together. Add the pesto – however much you like- mixing thoroughly until everything is coated and heated through. Season and serve with the basil and Parmesan on top and something nice and red (or white) to wash it down with!!!!

Do let me know if you ever try it, and have the fabbiest of evenings. I'm off for another watercolouring sesh :)))x

Hugs xxxx

Blog Candy, Sneak Peeks and a Willow Sketchie xxx

Ohh there's a lot going on here - it's a post in 3 parts so best get comfy lol xxx

OK, sneaky peakies first.
I was a bit more sneaky yesterday cos you couldn't really see the image, just my fave punch in the world :))x

This is another card for this month's Tutti Fruity Raspberry Ribbons kit. This time I used the pink organza and the gorgeous floral satin ribbons, along with the sweetest lil Sugar Nellie image, from Funky Kits. I won't even tell you what I coloured her with lol xxx The pretty papers are PP and I double printed them - see Liz's tutorial here.

In this month's ribbon kit, you get some little fruity charms and I also used a couple of them.

You can see them better here.

-------------------------------------------------------------
And now for a challenge - the Willow Sketchie Challenge
And it was a challenge, but thanks Sharon cos I really enjoyed this.

So this is the sketch.
But Sharon don't make it that easy girls, oh no!!

So, you have to follow the sketch natch, but also you have to put 2 hand drawn shapes out of patterned paper on and you had to use at least 1 Willow Design item.

And if that wasn't enough, you had to make a keepsake.
Phew lol xxx

Well as luck would have it, this lil fairy flew into my stamp collection today all the way from Willow, and I could not resist using her.

And this is what I made.

The papers are Willow Design, except the crown and the bow, which I drew onto PP paper. I thought I had better tell you what they were cos I have said it before and I'll very likely say it again, by I won't be giving Picasso any sleepless nights with my drawing ability.

The ribbon is from my stash, the little pink pearly dots were from Creative Pastimes, and that beautiful butterfly lace was a prezzie from my lovely blog buddy Dawn xxx. It was one of the things in the parcel she sent me yesterday and was the only thing that put a smile on my fizzog all day!! How gorgeous it is, and even nicer IRL

So we've done the sketch, and we've used the right stuff and we've drawn (badly) 2 things, so what about the keepsake bit?

Well it isn't a card, it's lil box, and one with dividers.

I thought Kyla could use it to keep her array of hair bobbles, ribbons, clips, slides etc in. I got the template for it from The Cutting Cafe and it is really easy to do. I will use it again for sure and it will come in handy for Easter.

-------------------------------------------------

BLOG CANDY bit is now at the top xx

Tie A Yellow Ribbon xxx

Hope you have all had a better day than me!!!
But more of that in a sec ....
Firstly, here is the card I sneaky peekied yesterday.

Yep, it is one of my new Penny Black stamps (coloured with the usual bad boys!!). This is another of my cards for the new Raspberry Ribbons Tutti Fruity kit. I thought that fabby yellow checked ribbon went so well with the paper. Mind you I can't remember where I got the paper from cos it was a freebie, sorry. I can remember where I got the black and white striped paper from cos it is one of my faves - PP of course!! The sentiment is from the Lollie download from pc Crafter

I love the sentiment!!

And as it's nearly Easter (ish!!), I thought I'd do a pop up Easter card. The cute bunny is from the Woodware Easter Bunnies set and this is similar to one of the cards we are going to be doing on the next Creative Pastimes workshop. Again the spotty fab papers are PP and the PMs were dragged out - no rest for the wicked there!!! These cards are easy peasy to do and they fold flat for posting - fabulous!!

Aren't those colours just gorge? I love this combi although I do only tend to use it at this time of year.

And a sneaky peaky for tomorrow - wooo, what is that?
Could it be a MSBP perhaps?
All will be revealed tomorra xx

Talking of tomorra, Jan at Creative Pastimes is having a mahoosive sale - there are bargains galore peeps, so if you are not doing owt between 9.30am and 11.30am, get yerslef to Capenhurst Village Hall - just around the corner from the shop. If you need details, you can either e-mail me or ring the shop on 0151 347 9444 and one of the very fab and lovely girlies there will help you :)x

Now, back to the crappiness that has been today.

Well the workout did not get done and I am not amused quite frankly. You know what happened at Crimbly re the drunked sod who decided to go stock car racing through our hedge at 1.30am (if you are new to the pig sty, or you missed it, you can check it out here ). Well, the gardners came to start the repair work yesterday. I had been told that the damaged bit of the hedge could be replaced with an established one and although it would cost mega moulah, as the drunk's insurers were coughing up, the cost was not really an issue for me.

So, the new posts are in, and they told me yesterday that the hedges would be delivered today and that they pretty much had to go in straight away. So, the gardeners arrived bright and early and before long, there was a knock at the door. 'Can you come outside cos I need to talk to you', says one of the gardeners. I of course am still in me pjs cos I am waiting to do a bit of blubber shaking with my new best friend Camilla, so I have to go and get dressed. So I go out and there is the delivery man from the nursey holding what can only be described as a bunch of twigs with the odd leaf on. Nothing like the established hedge I had been led to believe - they had just sent bare root plants.

Well to say that I was not happy is an understament, and in true Basil Faulty mode I told them that there was no way that I was accepting them (I might have said it a bit more forcefully that that and I might have even swore). Honestly, I could have put those hedges where the sun don't shine!!!

So after standing outside arguing for over half an hour in what felt like Baltic conditions, he went away. The gardeners were just bewildered cos I must have turned into some kind of ranting she devil. They said they knew I would not be happy with them as soon as they saw them, and they were not really what they had asked for.

So now we are practically back to square one and the whole thing is a mess. I just keep thinking how much more do we have to suffer cos this moron chose to drink and drive. And to put the top hat on it, I am coming down with a nasty cold again, no doubt cos I was outside for ages instead of jiving and mambo-ing in the warrm - grrrrr.

There was one nice thing today though - I received a gorgeous card and parcel from the sweetness that is Dawn and it really cheered me up. Thank you so much for that darlin - you are such a love and it was really kind of you mmmwwwaaahh and hugs xxxx
So I am off to sit by the fire with a nice warm drink and my fleecy dressing gown (I call it my cosy lolxx) and snuggle up to the Tricky-meister and watch the telly.

I shall return tomorra with some more paper stuff.
Have the most fabby weekend peeps xxxxx

How Gorge ......

... is the new PP download?

I am so 'hearting it' and I bet I'm not the only one :)
It was one of those 'I HAVE to have this' things as soon as I saw it and it is absolutely utterly gorgeous.

So I couldn't resist using it for this week's Spoonful of Sugar Challenge which is based on a faberoonie sketch by Nikkie and I really enjoyed doing this one.

The image is a Sugar Nellies Leanne Ellis beauty which I got from Funky Kits and coloured with PMs and highlighted with lots of sparkly Glamour Dust. The gorgeous ribbon is from a past Raspberry Ribbons kit and the sentiment is very very nice but I lost the back to it during the clear up operation so I don't know where it's from, sorry chicks!!!

Well this is a short post here but if I get time, I will be back later with another!!

Off to Birkenhead now to collect the post and then back to do a spaggy bol for dinner - with a bit of help from Lloyd Grossman !!!! Someone once said he has irritable vowel syndrome which cracked me up and I think about it every time I see his name!!!

See ya later and have the fabbiest of days xxxx

Stars And Stripes and Spicy Browns xxx

What gorgeous colours in the new December kit from Raspberry Ribbons which is now on sale. Check it out here

These are some of my cards made with the new kit xxx

I used my new Pollycrafts stamp again cos I just love that little face. I must do another one but colour it as a girl. The card blank is Craftwork Cards and the DP is Tinker & Co. I coloured the image with PMs and used a Sakura Glaze pen to highlight.
DP is from the extremely lovely and kind lady that is Summer Driggs - this is from her Vintage Oreos set. Again, Tilda is coloured with PMs. You probably can't tell from this picture but that ribbon is the most beautiful colour - like a rusty rich coppery brown. Delish xx

And that's a Martha Stewart punch, you're right, but it's not the usual suspect.

Thanks to one of my very good blog buds who will remain nameless cos I dont want her to get inundated (but she knows who she is and she knows I am truly thankful for all her help of late xxx), my MSBP has a new pal to keep it company.

This little beauty not only cuts a fine zig zag border but it embosses and punches little dinky holes at the same time. It's fab and at the mo, they are on offer at MS - although when I went to the site to put the link on, there didn't seem to be any of this type there. That's the bad news. The good news is that all the punches are reduced from $14.99 to $11.24 including my beloved doily punch, which you know I just lubs a lot xxxx

So, will this one replace the doily punch in my affections???

NOT a cat's chance in hell, although I think it is quite fetching and I do rather like it.

A lot.
And talking of liking a lot, this is one of my gorge Alota stamps coloured with PMs - just for a change. I used the PP Really Big Dots download again which I love so much (no doubt cos I am a bit dotty meself lol xx).

So all in all, I think this one has to be my personal fave.

I'll be back with some more tomorrow but for now I am going to get my heavy duty sex kitten pjs on, compelete with bed socks (I've given you that particular picture before and can't bring myself to inflict it on you lovely peeps again). Then it's a fab night of telly for the Phillips-May household.

Stricly Come Dancing First - ohhhh Bruce gets more and more toe-curlingly embarrasing as the weeks go on, but I LOVE Bruno and Craig - fab-you-lous!!.

Then X Factor - Alexandra to win, she's awesome and I'm sort of glad that gobby Rachel went. What an appalling flippin attituide!!!.

Then to top it all off, IACGMOOH.

Can I just ask, nobody in Blogland is voting for the arrogant, smug, self satisfied, hair gelled to within an inch if its life, half wit that is DVD are they ????

Oh please don't lovlies - it's just encouraging him. I think he is starting to think that someone likes him lol xxx. Sorry if you are a Dollar fan (that really is shameful, and that's coming from a Shakin Stevens fan as well lol xx) but I have an overwhelming urge to give him a fistful of the beggars every time I look at him!!!!

Harsh but true. But have a great evening and see ya manana xxxxx

Who Fancies A Freebie?????

Yes???

Well who wouldn't eh??

After all the doom and gloom that I have had to work in lately, this is something to smile about so I just had to share this xxx

Pop over here and check it out peeps xx

There is a free subscription to the Making Hand Made Cards e-newsletter which is fairly new, plus there is a freebie floral doodles printable kit as well which is available for a few more days.

What you need to do is susbcribe to the newsletter and then you'll get a confirmation email just double checking that you really want the newsletter. Once you click the confirmation link in there, you'll receive the freebies email within minutes. That e-mail has the free floral doodle kit plus other freebies.

This is all the work of the lovely Claire, and one of the reasons I've been a bit quiet here this last week (apart from the dreaded 'W' word lol xx) is that she e-mailed me recently and asked me if I would be interested in doing some samples for her using her new downloadable kits that are soon to be released.

Well I had to have a look of course, and I was amazed. There are shed loads of papers and images and sentiments and the colours are fab. But what I really love about these is that each kit comes with contact sheets so you get a snapshot of everything in that kit along with the relevant file number. It saves hours of trawling through files to find the paper etc that you want, so a fabbytastic idea me thinks.

So here's a bit of a sneeky peekie!!
Everything on the cards, apart from the ribbons and brads is included in the kits.
Ribbon is Raspberry Ribbons (Wintery White), brad is Poppicrafts and it's coloured with PMs and highlighted with Glamour Dust.

Where oh where has my MSBP gone? Usurped by the interloper from Fiskars (Threading Water) lol xx. But fear not, it's just having a well earned rest!!! The image is self coloured btw so the PMs had a bit of a rest as well :)

Ribbon is Poppicrafts and the PMs rest was very short lived, poor things, cos I used them here to colour the tree and the holly.

I was ever so pleased to have been asked, so thank you Claire xx
And I'm sure when the kits are released, you'll just love them - I had to give them a toot cos they are pretty fab I have to say.

If you subscribe to the e-newsletter, you'll get a free sample of each kit in the next few days, plus you'll also get access to a videos with lots of Chrizzy cards (mine are on it - woo hoo - plus there are other fave bloglies cards in it as well but I cant say whose - mainly cos I dont know, but I bet they'll be fab lol xxx). Also, in a few days time we'll be told the launch date for the kits and Claire tells me that the first first few people to get it will get extra goodies.

So all in all, it sort of feels like Christmas. Which is jolly holly nice :)

Sorry about the loooong post and at the risk of sounding like cook-a-long-a-Gordon (Ramsey) I hope you 'stayed with me' lol xx

Hope you are all having a fantabulous weekend and see you tomorra with a challenge card or maybe even 2, but for now, it's X Factor and a glass of something white and ever so lightly chilled for me

Hugs xxxx
