The weekend is almost here, woohooo!!!

So it’s time to head on over to the Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar challenge and as it’s the first challenge of the month, our theme this week is an

Well  the mere whiff of ribbon and I was off,  cos I do love the stuff – you probably noticed lol!!

I almost went for a H&S image this week but in the end I decided to use this sweet Tilda. I coloured her with Copics in these shades -

Skin: E00, E21, R11, R20

Hair: E33, E42, E50

Clothes etc: E11, E31, E33, YR0000, YR00, YR20, YR61

The papers were actually left over from a mag commission I just finished and they are from a Helz Cuppleditch decoupage pack (Basil & Buttercup) which you can see here at Crafts U Love.

It’s such a pretty apricot colour (until I get my photo editing hands on it that is lol!!)  that I couldn't resist using it.

The sentiment is from the Lili Of The Valley Inspirational Sentiments sheet .

And there’s a bit more of Mr Holtz’s scalloped die again lol!!

Tilda Tent-Tastic :)

Woohoo peeps, it’s Friday.

Not only is it almost the weekend but it’s also time for another Just Magnolia special monthly challenge. This month, our featured stamper is the wonderful and talented Dena and she’s made a tent card . We have a fab tutorial for you which is so easy to follow :)

Now I can tell you that the DT had sooo much fun making them – I think we all enjoyed it and I’m sure we’ll all be making them again cos they are so easy but they look very special.

And here’s mine.

I got this new Tilda stamp this week and couldn’t wait to ink her up and get the old bad boys out. And all the papers are MME and are available from the loveliness that is Tracy over at Dies To Die For. I love ‘em so much that I even paper pieced her troosers with them lol xxx

The gorge flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and are absolutely stunning

And I have to say a big yooohooo and thank you to Sue at Crafts U Love for sorting me tulle out xxxx This stuff is awesome and they have the most fabulous colours – LOVE it.

I must admit that I winced a bit when I punched a hole through poor Tilda’s head. Wonder if she felt it, hee hee!!!

Right this is another of my 2 in one challenge cards. I'm not trying to cheat honest, it's just that I am sometimes up to my eyes in stuff but I just love doing the challenges so this way I can get more done. PLUS it does challenge me to try and do combinations. This is for PTW - to die for - using a die cut on your card and also Cute Card Thursday - xmas cards. This is my first crimbly card of the year. Paper is PP and the cute stamp is Penny Black which I got from Butterfly Kisses. Ribbon is Poppicrafts and the die cut is from a Sizzlet set.

If you haven't checked out the new challenge over at Kazan & Lauras 2 sketches 4 you, you are missing a treat. This is going to be a really popular challenge cos they are both soooo talented. The first one is Laura's sketch. Paper is PP and the blooms and ribbons are Poppicrafts as is that completely FAB little silver frame. It cost something daft like 79p and it is just so lovely
This one is Kazan's sketch. The ribbons are from the ever so fabulous Raspberry Ribbons June kit which is pink, naturally xx The dahlia blooms I got the other day from Crafts U Love and they are just so pretty. The little sparkly centre is part of the kit - fab xx Buttons are Poppicrafts and the sentiment is Craftwork Cards.
