Home Sweet Home

Hi lovelies - hope you are all OK.
I'm having a bad run at the mo - food poisoning last week (very yukky!!).

On the mend now though, touch wood.

I'm sharing a cute little house gift box which I made using Tonic Studios Designer Choice #17 - Home Sweet Home. These sets go really fast so if you fancy having a go, I'll pop my affiliate links at the end of the post.

I've also popped a video on my YouTube channel and you can see it here -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCfdNyu207w

Here's some pics - I've left the top unfastened so you can see where the string goes to close ....

All the little elements on here are made using the dies in the set and I think they're super cute.

You could easily turn them into a little church to pop a wedding, Christening or confirmation gift card in.
Or how about a spooky house for Halloween?
Or a beach hut?
Or a dog kennel?

The list is endless.

Right, I'll leave you pondering lol.
Take care and see you soon xx

Chicky Chicky Cheep Cheep :)

Hello my lovelies and hope you are all OK today and that you had a nice weekend.

I'm sharing a nice bright and sunny little Easter card which I made using the Tonic Studios Egg-Cellent Easter showcase set.

There's chicks, bunnies, hats, eggs etc etc and loads and loads of cuteness in that set and there's dies and stamps so a lot going on..

I've popped my affiliate links below so you can have a nosey if you want.

I made the striped background using Nuvo alcohol pens, double sided tape and glitter.

I've put together a step by step tutorial over on the Tonic blog which shows you how to do this, and also how to colour the chickadee and put the card together and you can see that  here

There's also a YouTube video which runs through the kit and there's more samples for using the showcase there, plus a tutorial on putting a sweet little pop up card together.

Right, I'm off to the shed. It's a busy week for me so I need to make a start., The fire is on already in there and it should be nice and toasty now.

Have a great week and stay safe and well xxx

Hop To It :)

Hello crafty friends.
I'm sharing a card today which I made using the new Tonic Studios Showcase set.

This one here -

It's a whopper of a set -  you get 34 dies and 21 stamps and there's 36% off at the mo.

The thing I like about the set is that there's other things you can use it for, so it's for life and not just for Easter :)

And this is one of the cards I made with it  -

I used Nuvo Alcohol pens to colour everything in.

And the little beads on the grass are Prills - Tonic don't do them anymore which is a shame because I quite like them.

We have a green gingham bow today - I've given the black and white one a day off lol.

Mt favourite bit of the card - the cute little carrots.
I coloured them in and then I applied some Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

I think it makes them look so cute.

That's my little bunny card and I'll share more over the next few days.

I've popped the affiliate links below in case you want to nab one of these sets or have a look.

Also, I've done a YouTube video where you can see the dies and stamps in a bit more detail, plus some other samples I made with the set to give you a few more ideas hopefully. And there's a tutorial to put together a pop up card.

If you get a sec and want a mooch, you can se it here -

Right I'll be off then.
I'll see you tomorrow with another bit of cardage and until then,  take care and stay safe xx

A Lorra Lorra Pics & Summer Fun (I Wish!! :)

Well hello there lovelies and hope you ae all safe and well today.

I thought I'd bring a bit of summer fun here today - we could all do with a bit of that right now!!
These are some of the cards I made using the Tonic Studios Summer Fun Dies Collection.

I have to say that I LOVED working with these.

You can create little stages  that fold flat for posting - sooo clever !!

And they're full of all sorts of elements that you can use for your other cards and projects.

There's bunting, a bike, a caravans, a deck chair ....

... and sweet little flower pots.

I've shared a couple of these before and you can see the posts here and here

I hope these have given you some ideas.

I'll pop my affiliate links below in case you want a mooch.
Right I better go - I'm a bit late today and it's been a bit hectic this week.
But I'm hoping for a quiet few days now and time for a bit of crochet I think.

Take care and stay safe and well and hugs to all xx

A Few Cards, Just Because .....

Morning lovelies and brrr it's chilly today isn't it.
I only nipped out to the post office and I still can't feel my feet lol.

So the card I'm sharing to day was made using the Tonic Studios Scribble Frames.

It's a sweet set and there's 25% off the collection today.

Affiliate links are at the end as always :)

This one was made using Just Because and I really like the colours here.  That blue is a pearlescent cardstock and it's called Caribbean Sea.

I could do with a bit of that to warm myself up quite frankly today lol.

That shimmer .... gorgeous :)

I also made this sweet wall hanging using the same die -

I haven't shared the cards above before but the next couple you may have seen already.  But I thought I'd pop them on here as they are made from the same collection..

These ....

... were both made using  the  Floral Scribble Square. I love the bees.

Right I better be off.

I have a birthday cake to make for a certain Miss Kyla May.

I cannot believe she is 15 tomorrow -  really? Now where did that time go ?????  She's all grown up now, awww. She's still my little angel though.

I'll be back soon with some more makes so till then, stay safe and well and keep warm!! xx

A Kit Full Of Cards :)

Hello lovelies - back again as promised and this time have a little rose gold and ivory number for you.

This was made using Tonic Studios Kit#39 (I LOVE the colours on this kit).

A bit of paper piecing and glitter - dead easy.

I think this sentiment would made a fabulous tag as well as for popping on your cards.

Here's a couple more cards I made with the kit -

A bit of bargello - a real stash buster.
I've done a YouTube vid which shows how to do this, plus a look at what's in the kit and some inspiration.

You can see it here -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62s2TyPYsdo&t=5s

A bit more bargello - this technique works with all sorts of bits of scrap card. You know, the ones we don't like to chuck out and think we will use again but never do!!

It's perfect for them :)

Right, I better go.
I'm working on something soooo cute which I'm dying to share but I can't just yet.

But all will be revealed very soon.

Take care, stay safe and well and hugs to all and I'll see you soon with another project  xxx

My affiliate links to the kit are below in case you want a gander.
