Santa baby....

Good morning everyone have you anything exciting planned for the weekend....poor Phil has to work, he says he will be home by 2pm but as he started at 6am he will be so tired I don't think we will be going far, so it might be a lazy afternoon with me crafting and Phil dozing in front of the tv...and who can blame him...we went to change my Dads glasses yesterday and the conversation started with 'my leg fell off' lol...it was sorted though and of course they changed them no problem...I really should do some decorating today and tomorrow, everything in the house was kinda put on hold with holidays and weddings and everything and its so hard to get the momentum going again isn't it, but it needs done before Christmas...well I suppose the bedrooms could wait but the stairs and staircase need done now, the carpet is rank, its a really badly faded pale grey colour, very dirty and marked and the staircase is a mishmash of colours of wood, so I think a new carpet as we decided that painted stairs would be very noisy and maybe a bit cold...the rails on the staircase will be vintage cream and the original banister is going to be sanded down and polished to a high gloss...so you see I really need to start it don't I...what I need is someone to give me a quick boot up the bot and give me a shove...any volunteers...ok don't all rush together now form an orderly queue lol...right now onto my card for today, this stunningly sexy Christmas beauty is from Kenny K and is called Bow, there's an adult version of her too where she is wearing nothing but the bow and a smile...but you never know where this card will end up and I didn't think an aged Uncle or similar would stand the excitement lol...I coloured her with distress inks and used two different papers to paper piece her outfit...they are both from the same My Mind's Eye - All is Bright 6x6 Pad, I finished with some bunting cut from the same pad, a huge red satin bow and a couple of flowers from the Blossoms - Resin Flower Bluebell set, I love these super cute resin flowers they are small but so perfect...the pad and flowers are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge and I'm also entering it for the Mema's Crafts challenge and Card Crafter's Circle challenge too...right I'm off to sit and have a coffee while I stare at paint pots lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and I hope you manage a fabulous trip out
