...brrrrrrr, brrrrrrr, brrrrrrrrrr....that's the sound of my teeth chattering together! Oh yes, another post starting with a commentary about the weather. But please? Can we have the sunshine back please? So. A couple of weeks ago I was at The Stamp Attic to do some inkyness and T'Pouch making with a group of lovely ladies. And I forgot to take pics of my effort that I made in class... so here it is!
It is a T'Pouch - for peeps who are going "huh?" at that word... it is a little pouch, made of card, that is sized to fit an 8pt tag into. I have been making these for about a year now... it is my excuse for having more to add stamping and embellishing onto... and I have done a little tut on how to make one HERE if you fancy having a play.
This one is slightly different because we actually decorated two tags, stuck them back to back and then added more tags to the tags (!) and pouchy bit... along with some die-cuts and stamped images and of course, inky techniques.
I was in a devil may care attitude that day and just grabbed the first three colours that were nearest to me. Which is totally out of character because I normally think carefully about the colours I am using (I do, even if it doesn't look like it rofl) This time I grabbed Peeled Paint, Scattered Straw (my new fave Stain colour) and Antique Linen and blended them onto the tags and card surfaces. And... did you know... Scattered Straw Stain is a perfect lighter shade accompaniment to Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge... using it with Wild Honey and any other warm toned colour makes it more yellowy. See, that is why I LOVE Distress!
Anyways... enough of the waffling... I have one of those "to do" lists today (well, I have one every day but....) you know the type, that take up a whole page... and yep, defuzzing cobwebs is on the agenda... I am sure that those pesky spiders all gang up one night and have a big party on the ceiling and then chuck loads of fluff at their webs... they have to... I would never let cobwebs grow like that over time... would I? *best not answer that one lol* Right... offski time... have a lovely day... TTFN!

Sunday Stamper - Week 202 - Summer In The City
Goooodly Morning Stampers and a very happy Sunday to you all. Many thanks for all the fabby entries to last weeks challenge... and hello to some newbie entrants too :O)) This week I am inspired by the weather! Well, the kind of weather that I wish we were having at the moment and not this rainy, cloudy and hailstormy stuff... no, I am wishing for some bright sunshiny days. So, the theme for this week is... SUMMER COLOURS. To join in with the challenge is simples: make a little something, it can be anything you like... add in some stamping and the theme and then hop on over here to leave me a comment with a link to the place you are showing your entry. If you haven't got a blog/Picassa/Flickr etc, you can enter on Facebook or by sending me an email with a piccie of your entry. The challenge will remain open until 21:oo Saturday 28th April 2012.
So... my entry is actually my class sample for today's workshop at The Stamp Attic. It is all about overloading tags... something that I lurve to do. I have made a T'Pouch for the tags to sit in... oh and if you are new to my blog and are wondering what a "T'Pouch" is... basically, about a year ago, I got all exciteable and decided that just a tag wasn't enough... and I wanted to carry on the piece I was making, giving it more space to add more embellishments and stamping... so I came up with the Pouch design. After yakking over a suggested name for said Pouch with a pal, he suggested the "T'Pouch" so it is a bit of a play on words like the 80's pop band T'Pau... and it kind of went from there!
If you fancy making your own T'Pouch, I did a tut a few months ago with all the measurements and pics etc... details of which are HERE for you to see. In keeping with my desire for sunny days and a bit of warmth on my old bones, I decided to make this sample using hot Distress Colours... namely Scattered Straw (heavenly with the following...) Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Fired Brick Stains. The stamping is with Jet Black Archival and Snowcap Dabber and the stamps are all Tim Holtz collection apart from Photographer Guy - he is a Studio 490 stamp.
I did some die-cutting using Alterations dies and Grungepaper and cardstock... and added some Idea-ology for embellishing the pieces. I am going to be making another one today in my class... so this time I will pick different colours (or, maybe because I am loving the hot colours, I will do another the same!)
Tis time for my bed... I had a lovely busy day ripping and old book apart and cutting it (it didn't squeal lol) and getting messy with Gesso and sprays... I will blog pics tomorrow .. I have "my own back" to get on Wendy and Caz today.... they were snapping away with their cameras and I just know that there will be plenty of "Hels looking like a goof" pictures being bandied about... I need a bargaining tool... quick! LOL Right then, that's all for now... thanks for looking... have a fabby Sunday! TTFN

Leave That Hels....
...."you will hurt yourself" ... .says Grim, yesterday, when I was trying to drag an 8 foot tree root out of the garden... erm... yep, I hurt myself... I know, I know, all self inflicted and all that and I do like to think that I can still do things like that but... I can't... so, from now on I am taking on a more gentle roll.. .basically sitting there in the sunshine pointing at things lol
Anyways... I have been absent for far too long... basically there is no excuse apart from I have been recovering from the weekend (hectic but fun) and soaking up the sunshine. I even have a few more freckles... and no red bits this time! That there pic is the T'Pouch we made on Saturday morning... I forgot to take photo's of the other 3 projects... and left them up there so... er, whoops!!
The weekend of classes at Dawn Bibby's Design Studio were brilliant! A special thank you to all the lovely ladies who came to play... I think everyone enjoyed themselves and they all left with very inky fingers... the best way to be!
This post is punctated with pics from the Sunday classes... donut here had the camera on the desk all day Saturday and clean forgot to use it! I am going to have to start setting an alarm on my phone to remind me...
Speaking of reminding... I have been invited back to Dawn's place.. yay!!! The next classes are scheduled for May 26th - a whole day class and May 27th, a morning and afternoon class. I know a few of the places are already sold... and I will pop the booking deets into the sidebar if you would like to book a place.
So, apart from nearly busting a gut in the garden, this week has been a lazy one... no blogging, no inking... hardly any FB-ing... strangely enough, time seems to have whizzed past so fast, I thought that it was still Wednesday today and was going to do the whole WOYWW thingy and then realised I missed it... again!
Anyways... enough of my waffling... have you been enjoying the sunshine? And have you been queueing for hours to get some petrol? How ridiculous this situation is... I was trying to get into the Sainsbury's carpark earlier... it was blocked off by cars waiting to get into the petrol station... good job Ferdy isn't thirsty at the moment, I refuse to queue at the best of times... but to get overpriced fuel? Pah! Ohhh, I went all ranty lol I shall love ya and leave ya, I can smell my lasagne is just about ready to be snarfed.... I shall be back here tomorrow cos I am planning an inky evening.... thanks for looking... TTFN

PS.. if you just saw a blog post from me go up that is cos my laptop was just about to conk out and it published instead of saved... whooooops!!!

One Colour???
....mmm, nomnomnom, I love Gingerbread... very lots... and when I made this T'Pouch I must have had that on my mind because I think the colours of this one are very ...erm... gingerbread-ish. Anyways... I have been playing with my favoured Studio 490 stamps again and have made a Tag and T'Pouch.
Now, I made this a few weeks ago and hadn't had chance to blog it, and then I saw the Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge for this week and am thinking... could I get away with it if I entered this for the challenge?? Only one way to find out... the theme this week is ONE COLOUR. Mmm, I struggle to use just one colour... so this one actually has several colours but they are all the same shade/colour family... whatcha fink? **oh and ignore the green leaves... those aren't there really ;o))**
So, the T'Pouch was made in the usual fashion, a piece of cream card, cut, scored and folded... if you missed the Tut on how to make these, it is over THERE in the sidebar. I used Old Paper, Vintage Photo, Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge Distress Stains to make a smooshiness on my craft sheet and dipped the card and tag directly into it... and then spritzed with water and dried with a heat gun.
The stamping was done using Coffee Archival and apart from the butterfly (and the leaves... ssshhh) all the Grungepaper flowers and embellies were coloured with the brown tones of the Distress Ink range. I did a bit of sewing... ahem, my sewing machine is wonky... it is!! It can't possibly be me that can't sew a straight line for toffee... I do try really hard but the machine just drags the card off in any old direction... but I have found that if I sew two lines then the wobbliness doesn't look too bad.
Anyways... the tag and pouch both had ickle tags/labels in little flappy things I added... am loving adding "little" things to my artwork at the moment... and I have the perfect thing to make them.. oh yes, the Tags and Tabs Alterations and the Labels Movers & Shapers... perfect indeedily!
Oh and before I forget... it is my day for The Stamp Attic DT today and I have blogged a little Studio 490 Art Part "label" I made for my old suitcase of Art Parts... all the deets are HERE and this is a little sneaky peek at the piece I made :O))
Right... I had better get a wiggle on... things to do and stuff... ooh, an update on the sorely foot... well, I listened to everyone and rested it yesterday, keeping it elevated and all that and spent a very lot of time resting on the sofa... I was well occupied though, I had several Spooks to watch... but haven't seen the very last one yet... eeek, I need to get that watched today... want to know what happened!! Right... am off, really, I am this time... thanks for looking!! TTFN

Seasonally, Simon Says... Wendy!
...Yay! I love Autumn and I am a happy, if a little chilly, bunny today because it looks like Autumn is well and truly on its way! Anyways... I have been playing this week with those new Seasonal DI's - am in lurve, it is true! And I made a tag for my DT over at The Stamp Attic. All the deets on how I made the tag and how you can find the goodies I have used are HERE... on The Stamp Attic blog.
So... it is no secret that Mr Mojo naffed orf for a few days and I was left trying to lure him back... and I reported on Wednesday that my cunning plan of lighting a Yankee Candle and getting out the Studio 490 stash lured him right back in. If you can hear a muffled banging, that is said Mr Mojo, thumping his way about the big cupboard... I have locked him in there lol Anyways... I have kept what I made a secret for toooo long - well I waited til today for my DT piece... but I also got uber excited and made a Pouch for the tag... turning it into... a T'Pouch!
And... I spied that the challenge at Simon Says Stamp & Show is ... WENDY VECCHI!... Oh my wordy, I could NOT not join in with this one... you know my lurve for all things Studio 490 and my hero-worshipping of the Wonderful Wendy Vecchi... well, like I said... how could I NOT join in? It would have been against the Vecchian Law, of which I am very honoured to worship. So, I have the old Mojo jumping up and down, squawking at me, telling me to carry on after the tag was done and make the T'Pouch... it would have been rude to ignore him. The T'Pouch is made using the same design - the tut for that is HERE... and the way I decorated it, the stuff I used etc are all on The Stamp Attic blog.
But... there is more! Now, this may come as a bit of surprise to you because I know I haven't mentioned it (much *snort*) but I thought that it only right and proper to tell you that.... THIS TIME NEXT WEEK... I will be... in a classroom ... with .... THE WENDY herself... and Ellen, of course, because Ellen is instrumental in all of this... and Wendy is instrumental in Ellen and me being BFF's. My excitement on a scale of 1-1o is now at an 11... imagine what I will be like this time next week!!! Actually, don't, it probably won't be a pretty sight lol *rushes off to do a bit of screaming and squealing and jumping up and down..... just can't contain this excitment much more!*
Anyways... time for me to go and grab a quick 40winks... I am absolutely pooped after a very busy, happy and lovely couple of days with Gillian... more of that tomorrow as she has chosen the Sunday Stamper theme... and I can tell you now, it is ... a CORKER! Thanks for looking... have a fabby day... TTFN

Simon Says...
...cor blimey and thrice, how long since I joined in with the brill challenge that is Simon Says Stamp & Show??? Too long!!! Anyways... I have spent a few delightfully inky hours making a T'Pouch for my entry for this weeks challenge which is Steampunk. If you haven't seen this challenge before, do head on over to the blog to see all the amazing art by the Design Team... truly inspiring!
Anyways... that there pic is my entry... the T'Pouch...which reminds me... I did a quicky tut the other day with the "how to" make one of these... HERE are the deets for that :O)) SO.. the T'Pouch... made from white card and coloured with Distress Stains. I was having a smooshily fab time with Distress Stains yesterday afternoon and did a bit of mixing with Picket Fence and Milled Lavendar... it goes a gorgeous milky lilac colour... but I wanted it a bit darker so I added some Dusty Concord into the mix... and then once this had dried I added some Black Soot.
Amazingly, Milled Lavendar and Black Soot were the two Stains I wasn't going to bother getting... I thought that the Black Soot would be a bit OTT and the Milled Lavendar pad is one that I hardly ever use... how chuffed am I that I decided I NEEDED the whole set huh? VERY!! lol After making an inky background for the T'Pouch and the tag, I did a bit of background stamping with Snowcap Dabber... but this was really pale so I went over the top with Black Archival... the white still shows through and it actually looks darker... if that makes sense :O))
The stamping is a combo of Studio 490 stamps and those Steampunky ones by the Duke of Distress... I love that sentiment... and the chap with the box Brownie... I added some metal bits and bobs... oooh and look at the ickle bottle.. it has rusty screws in it... cute! The key dangling is one I picked up in an antique market in Chesapeake Bay when I was staying with Ellen in America last time... I could have spent a forrrrtune in there too... they even had an Underwood typewriter... but it would have cost me several million-squillion quids to get it back to the Room of Stash so I just had to stare longingly at it... and then walk away.
So... yesterday afternoon... the men came to put the sealy layer jobby onto the path in the back garden... and AlfieCat was confined to barracks... not wanting him to paddle through it and get it on his paws. Well, I strolled around to the post box and on the way back I was chased by a little black and white kittycat... she lives over the other side of the Spinney and is often seen lurking in the back garden... anyways, I said hello to her and gave her a bit of a pet... and then carried on to the house, noticing that she had disappeared behind me. Next thing, I am in the kitchen and I see her prancing up the just sealed path... so I nipped out and managed to pick her up... straight into the laundry to wash her paw-paws... the seal was drying but I don't know what's in it etc. So... there I am, holding a cat that has now decided she isn't all cute and cuddly and is, in fact, a right little monster. Then... I hear hissing... I turned to look... and as soon as kittycat noticed my attention wasn't on her, she bit me!!! And the hissing? That was AlfieCat who had puffed himself up to three times the size *he does look silly when he does that because his head stays the same size, so he looks like a big fat lump with a pin-head* and he was giving me and kittycat the Eye of the Muckergee.... eeeek... I quickly dried kittycats paws and out she went... in the meantime, the hissy-spitty AlfieCat is getting ready for the biggest strop ever! Honestly, it is like having a toddler lol I am just about forgiven for bringing another cat into the house, although he is still glaring at me every so often. Anyways... that's me for today...Thanks for looking... time for inkyness again... TTFN

Saturday Show & Hels... T'Pouch Instructions...
...Wow, I have had so many lovely comments and emails about how to make my latest invention... the T'Pouch... so... here I am with some piccies and the measurements etc. If you haven't heard of the T'Pouch... here's a little bit of history: I love to make tags... and was getting a bit bored of just doing the old tag... so I decided to make a pouch for the tag to sit in... that way I could really go over the top and decorate that too.
The name came about after I had been discussing "what to call this here pouchy thing" with Dan... and he said... why not call it the T'Pouch! So I have! So.. on with the pics etc... Oh before I do... the T'Pouch is designed to hold a Size 8 tag... which is the size that the Sizzix Alterations Tag Die is... and also the size of the standard Ranger tags :O) Right...here we go!
STEP 1
Cut a piece of cardstock or double sided paper to measure 25cm x 13cm
STEP 2
Score at the following along the longest side:
1.5cm
1.5cm
9cm
1.5cm
1.5cm
9cm
1cm
And score along the shortest side at:
11cm
STEP 3
Fold along the score lines... the 1.5cm measurements will form the expanding part at the sides of the T'Pouch. The 9cm lengths are the front and back and the 1cm will form a flap for gluing the T'Pouch together. Fold along the 11cm measurement... this will form the flaps for the base.
STEP 4
Snip out the little extra pieces that are along the bottom of the cardstock - this will make assembling easier. All you need are the two 9cm long flaps. One will go over the top of the other to glue together.
STEP 5
I have marked on the template where to glue. Cut two pieces of card/paper to measure 10cm x 8cm. These will be the front and back pieces that you can ink/stamp/decorate before attaching to the T'Pouch.
And there you have it. If you do make a T'Pouch, please do let me know... I would love to see lots of little T'Pouches taking over the world (mwaha... mwhahahahaaaaa - said in Dr Evil voice) Anyways... here's the tag and T'Pouch that I have finished..
And... the tag... I am entering this into the Tag It On challenge this week which is ... RED... and I can see lots of red on this one so hopefully it is acceptable.
And finally... last week I did the Watermark Resist Technique and had some candy to win... so, I had 61 comments and Mr Random.Org chose #52 which tallies with the comment left by Craftimamma. So... thank you all for your comments... muchly appreciated... and if Craftimamma could email me her addy I will pop the card and Pad into the post! Right, enough waffling from me for a day... tomorrow is a brand new Sunday Stamper theme... please do pop back to visit... oh and there are still a few days left to enter into the Bloggy Birthday giveaways I am doing... all the deets are up there in the sidey bar... Right.. am offski... thanks for looking... TTFN

Bloggy Birthday... WOYWW... & Giveaway...
...YES!!! Today is my 4th Bloggy Birthday and this is my 1,134th post here on Ink On My Fingers. Before I tell you about todays giveaway, I would just like to say a few words about the birth of Ink On My Fingers and what it has come to mean to me. I started this blog because I had a PhotoBucket and was posting tutorials on there ... but kept running out of room for the words (I have always been a bit of a talker lol) So, I thought I would start a blog and see what happened. Now, this may not sound like such a biggy but... four years ago I could only just about get emails, let alone do anything as adventurous as start a blog... but thankfully Mr Blogger is very kind and the step by step thingy was easy enough... and so started this little bit of Cyberspace that I like to call my own.
I never would have thought that I could get so much from blogging... not only have I had a cracking good time, I have also met some of the most amazing peoples... I have had adventures and made good friends. I would like to say a massive thank you to every single person who has ever taken time to leave me a comment... every single one of them is important to me... and like everyone, I do love to get comments (apart from the nasty ones... and you know who you are... so don't bother again!) Such a lot has changed in my life in the past four years... some good, some bad... but the one outlet I have had all the way through is this blog. I have been able to come here and show off the stuff I make... and talk a lot... I have learnt loads from so many talented crafters... I have "met" so many lovely folks who all share the same passion for crafting as me. So... my thank you to all you lovely folks is a series of giveaways... which have been running since Sunday... and culminate in a last giveaway today... in the form of a T'Pouch.
If you have recently started reading my daily waffling, you may not know what a T'Pouch is... well, it is basically a little pouch for a tag to sit in. I love to make tags but was getting bored of just doing a tag... I wanted to do more... so I invented the T'Pouch. If you would like to have a go at making your own, please do drop me an email and I will send you the measurements... they are really simple to make too... well, if I had anything to do with the invention of it, it isn't going to be rocket science lol
So, this T'Pouch today is loaded with ink, stamping and embellies... I won't babble on about how I made it but I will point out that yes, there's sewing on it... I am LOVING my mini sewing machine... very lots! The stamping in all from the collection of the Duke of Distress... apart from the butterfly, which was the very first rubberstamp I ever bought... all those years ago... and it is still a fave.
Anyways... if you have just landed on here and haven't seen the other giveaways, please do have a look HERE for Sunday's, HERE for Monday's and HERE for yesterday's... all the deets are on the posts. To be in with a chance of winning any of these creations all you need to do is leave me a comment... click to follow me if you don't already... and your name will be entered into a draw - the winner of which will be picked randomly and announced next Wednesday, September 14th.
That there is a piccie of all four giveaways together... and this next piccie is of my desk... because after all that waffle about bloggy birthdays and suchlike... today is still Wednesday which means it is time for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday... which is an amazing phenomenon that takes place...erm... every Wednesday (yes, I am Captain Obvious today) Hosted and devised by the one and only Julia Dunnit, it is a grand way of getting to be a stickybeak without actually snooping... cos everyone willingly shows off their desks/floors/walls/piles of stash (mentioning no names... of course... as if I would do that ...snort) If you click HERE you will be whizzed off to Julia's on a magic roundabout that doesn't make you feel icky when you get off it...
Right... that is way too much yakking for one day... tis time for me to go to my bed... I think I deserve a nice long snoozle after all of that! Here's to another four years blogging... and again... THANK YOU all for the lovely comments and stuff... means the world to me... (am off before I start blubbing...........) Thanks for looking... TTFN!

Sunday Stamper - Week 170 - Love Potion #9 **plus giveaway**
Goodly Morning Stampers... a very happy Sunday to you all... firstly, THANK YOU to all who joined in with last weeks challenge and AlfieCat says thank you for the lovely birthday greetings you left for him :O)) So... this week is going to be a special one... I hinted in yesterday's post that something was happening... well... on Wednesday it is my 4th Blogaversary... where did that time go!! The next four days up until and including Wednesday are going to be "countdown" days and I will be giving away a piece of artwork on each day... starting with today and the creation I have made for this weeks Sunday Stamper. The very first theme on the Sunday Stamper was "love" and I know we have seen this return a few times but it is a lovely *ahem, pardon the pun* theme... so this weeks theme is... LOVE. To join in with the challenge is simples: make a little something, it can be anything you fancy... add in some stamping and the theme and then leave a comment for me here with a link to the place you are showing your entry. Each commentee will be entered into the draw to win this T'Pouch that I have made... and if you enter the challenge too, your name will be entered twice. The winner will be announced on next weeks Sunday Stamper post. The challenge/draw will remain open until 21:00, Saturday 10th September 2011.
So... enough waffling about the theme etc and onto my T'Pouch that I made for my entry. I wanted to make something a bit OTT (ok, so there's nothing new in that but... you know what I mean) So... I cut some of that gorgeous Seasonal Paper Stash using the Tag Alterations, cut a plain card tag and then stuck them together. I used Cut & Dry to paint watered down Traditional Tan over the top of the paper so it was dulled down a bit... and then I went bonkers with Picket Fence, Fired Brick and Aged Mahogany Distress Stains.
The T'Pouch itself was made in the normal way **if you would like the measurements to make one yourself, please just drop me an email** ... and I used more of the Seasonal Paper Stash to make the covers for the front and back. Some scripty stamping found its way onto the tag and the front/back bits... using Gold Dabber for all over scripty stamping and then Coffee Archival for stamping it in patches. A whole lot more of the paper was then cut using the Rosette dies... which I have finally got the knack of fastening them together... use a great big dollop of Multi Medium on the little circle bit... and use acrylic blocks to weigh them down... works a treat!
As you can see, I also went a bit bonkers with the embellies too... well, it is a special piece, so why not! The Corked Vials have a drip of Aged Mahogany Stain in them... which were then spritzed with a dash of water so it mixed to the bottom of them... and then I stamped some of those cute new label stamps from the Duke of Distress, aged them and popped them onto the bottles. On the tallest bottle there is a rather gorgeous crown - I have no idea where this came from but... it is sooo lovely and chunky I can see myself trawling yonder t'internet to see if I can find some more!
So... enough of the waffling about how I made the T'Pouch... and on again with the news about the 4th Blogaversary. Now, I have never celebrated one before... mainly because I have forgotten every single year... but this year I am ahead of the game and seeing as it is quite a milestone, I have decided that I should celebrate in style... and by way of a HUGE thank you to all you followers and commenters, I thought I would share a few goodies with you. As I said before, today is the first day of the countdown and I will be giving away the T'Pouch. In the coming days I will have more arty things to giveaway... and on Wednesday I will be giving away another piece of artwork... plus an extra little something too :O)) So... don't forget to leave me a comment... and if you join in with the Sunday Stamper this week you will be entered twice into todays draw. Right, that is certainly enough waffling and whittering for one day... thank you all again for all your lovely comments, for following me and for making this little old blog such a special place for me. Thanks for looking... TTFN!

Sunday Stamper - Week 169 - Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep, Cheep...
Goodly Morning Stampers and a very happy Bank Holiday Sunday to you all. Thank you for all the gorgeous entries to last weeks challenge. I have been asked a couple of times what to do if you don't have a blog but want to play along... well, that is simples... just email me a piccie of your piece and let me know how you made it. So.. this week the theme has been set by a VERY special guest setter who just so happens to be celebrating his birthday today! He is 8 today and he is having a tin of tuna for his din-dins. (any ideas who the birthday boy is?) The theme is BIRDS and it was set by none other than my gorgeous little furbaby AlfieCat. (isn't he clever!) Anyways, to join in is simple, make a little something, it can be anything you fancy, add in the theme and some rubber stamping and then pop back here to leave me a comment with a linky to the place you are showing your entry. The challenge will remain open until 21:00 Saturday 3rd September 2o11.
So... my entry is a T'Pouch... I am still highly addicted to making T'Pouches. If you are scratching your head and wondering what on earth I am waffling about... basically a T'Pouch is the name for a tag that has a pouch to live in. The pouch itself can be made from anything and I have the made up measurements if you would like to make one for yourself... just drop me an email!
I used lots of Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Stains because my Alfie is black and white... and I also used some of those divine and now no longer made Avene collection by Crate Paper to make the pouch. Lots of stamping from the collection of the Duke of Distress himself... I think my most used stamp is the script background... oh and the flying birds, LOVE the flying birds! The embellies are mostly Idea-ology.
For the tag I made a Tissue Tape rosette... I made three layers so it would be a bit "blousy" and then popped an Idea-ology Accoutrement into the middle. The big show-offy flower on the pouch is one of the Faux Porcelain flowers I made the other night... I cannot help but just stare at it... and the pic really doesn't do the flower justice... if you want to know how to do the FP technique, I have a Step by Step HERE for you.
Anyways... thankfully I have no tales of woe for you today, no injuries sustained yesterday (which is nothing short of a miracle) We have had a few issues with the internet but that is sorted now... yay! Ooo and sorry for the late posting of today's challenge... I have a very good reason... well, I started to make the T'Pouch and oh dear, it went wrong, Mr Mojo walked out in a huff so I decided to have a little play of Words With Friends on Facebook. I lost. Twice! In fact, I have never ever won a game of Scrabble of WWF. So, the T'Pouch was made in installments while I was slowly getting beaten by Grim... the funny thing is, he was sitting not 10 feet away from me in his Room of Electrickery Stuff lol. Right, I have a very lazy day planned, a catch up of the telly and an afternoon of making beady stuff... bliss! What have you got planned for today? Do tell! Thanks for looking... TTFN
