...oh boy, I am sitting here, ever so slightly smiley of face because... I did it! Oh yesh, I tidied the Room of Stash and now I have a lovely long desk to work at again. It took about four hours - and every time the old Room gets messy I say "never again... that is ****(insert amount of hours lost) I will never get back and could have been creating". So. I know it will happen again but... for now... it is back to how I want it! And here it is...
Yes, the shelves need a tidy... and don't look under the desk, that is... ahem... my collection of Yankee Candles (my FAVE candles, my fave scents are Sweetpea and any of the cherry ones) which need a proper box instead of a Clinton's bag. As well as my Clinton's collection bag, my Studio 490 stamps live there, I oft get asked "what are those things under the desk..." So there you go, my most beloved collection of stamps! Also on the desk is my latest sketch for a creation... I shall hopefully be making that later today. Let me tell you about what happened yesterday though! So, I am mid way through making the Room of Stash habitable and it is lunchtime. So, Grim says "I will make it" And me, being ever the control freak said "Tis ok, I shall do it..." SO, into the kitchen, tins of tuna being opened, cucumber being sliced and AlfieCat being a demon around my ankles. He loves his tune-tunes. So, I put a bit into his bowl and there he was scoffing awway noisily. He does love his tune-tunes very muchly. What he also likes to do is nip in between my ankles as I am walking. Which is exactly what he did. And I had two options: first one was to keep walking and tread on him. That isn't even an option is it really? So, the other thing I could have done was to do a little side-steppy maneuvere... which is what, I indeedily, did do. And ended up off balance and going from standing upright to thumping onto my left hip in about 2 seconds flat. Alfie scattered, he was obviously scared of getting squished. So, from my place on the kitchen floor and the ever so slightly really-wanted-to-laugh-but-it-really-hurt-very-much look on my face, I decided to sit it out... you know, wait til enough time has passed so it looks like you did it on purpose. That wasn't going to happen was it? Grim, bless him, didn't laugh... I could not have blamed him though. Needless to say, I spent the majority of the rest of the day bemoaning my "broken hip" and nursing my, once more, aggravated war wound. Not to worry though.... it turned out ok, Alf is ok, the kitchen floor isn't damaged... and those tuna sammies were lush! I reckon it is time to go and make that desk messy again so I shall say... thanks for looking!! TTFN...

PS. Just remembered... I have had a few emails asking "will you be at Ally Pally?" Yes, I will be there on Sunday demonstrating on the Creative Expressions stand and also I am doing a 20 minute demo in the Demonstration Area... not sure what the time of that is, I will let you know as soon as I do :O)
